Item A causa revelada – uma análise do conto A causa secreta em relação à crueldade na condição humana(2020-10-29) Souza, Luanna Raquel de Lima; Apolinário, José Antônio Feitosa; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1121641464509822; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8960383938317969This present work consists of an analysis of the short story A Causa Secreta, by the Brazilian author Machado de Assis; characterized as a literary analytic with a philosophical foundation - a literary-philosophical work -, with the objective of analyzing the short story, in order to solve the following problem: is it possible to reflect on how cruelty can manifest itself in the human condition from reading and analyzing the story? With the intention of answering this question, we brought to the discussion the theses addressed in the philosophies of Friedrich Nietzsche, in the works Genealogia da Moral (dissertations 01 and 02) e Aurora, and Clément Rosset, in their works O Princípio de Crueldade and Lógica do Pior, which foster reflections about moral, guilt, bad conscience, tragic and real. These ideas allowed us to think about cruelty within the story, constituting the psychological drawings of the characters analyzed and their possibility of their expression in the human condition, basing life. Which led us to the conclusion that cruelty can manifest itself in different ways in the human conditions of each being, as well as in their actions and relationships, reflecting the philosophical concepts - bad conscience, guilt, moral, real and tragic - that permeate it.Item A representação externa e a verdade interna em espelho de José J. Veiga(2019) Silva, Mikaelly Keila Pereira da; Almeida, Maria do Socorro Pereira de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3185435491287172; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0057832271208582The research aims to make an analysis about the Mirror tale of José J. Veiga, focusing on the mirror object, since such an element seems to reveal beyond physical appearances and show what is behind the appearances of family members who are part of the space where such an artifact is located. The research is based on the studies developed by Chevalier and Gheerbrant (2012), Melchior-Bonnet (2016), Souza (1990), Turchi (2005) among others of fundamental importance for the development of the analysis. Throughout the whole historical journey of mankind the man always tried to (re) know the other and himself, for that he used everything that could give him a clue, an image of who and what he was, first in the waters and in some metals, then into an object made of glass called a mirror, however, such a fascinating object was interpreted in different ways by different societies. In this way, the mirror is gaining forms and also symbolisms in the social imaginary. In the literary text he can represent the social figures and also the personalities of those who 'face' him. Thus, throughout the work, it was possible to observe that in Veiga's tale, the mirror reflects and transfigures the social masks, the hypocrisy in which the characters of the plot live. In this story, the mirror is seen not only as an ordinary object, simple and without major meanings or importance, it is the center, which causes the characters to move their experiences and show who they really are.Item Devaneios, mitos e simbologias em a terceira margem do rio(2019) Nunes, Dinamérica Souza; Almeida, Maria do Socorro Pereira de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3185435491287172; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9744453889452116The work has the goal to study the perspective of the daydreams, myths and symbologies present in the story "A Terceira Margem do Rio", from João Guimarães, whom the author, leave all perplexed and will live in a canoe within the river. This father's attitude trigger off all the whole familiar structure over time all the family members by his side giving a course to life, except the eldest son who remains until the end of his days, seeking an answer to the father's attitude and blaming himself about something that he even doesn't know what it is about and living in his father shadow on the edge of the river. In analyzing the above, we are faced with aspects that refer to some myths, just as it also makes us symbolize representations by various elements deferred throughout the narrative. Another aspect that is present in this work is the daydreams on which the observers according to Bachelard (1988) are applicable. Some myths such as Charon, the archetype of the great father among others are also observed in this work. This approach about the myths will be based for students in the area a example of Eliade (1972) with regards to the simbologias found in the story supported by Scárdua (2008) opinion. In all this search it was possible to observe the Rosa's story could take the man to a new life perspective in a subliminal landing.
