Item A academia como contribuição para conhecimento das feiras agroecológicas: o caso do espaço agroecológico de Setúbal(2019) Silva, Lilian Quelly Braz da; Silva, Joanna Lessa Fontes; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3516424517958161Agroecological fairs, today, is a new topic from the point of view of research, and is being explored gradually and in its various developments. There are several perspectives for analysis, and this monographic work unfolds through the initial research of several works published with the theme agroecological fairs and that could give a north of what already existed of research produced. Following is an analysis of the selected works and definition of the concepts that permeate field research such as agroecological fairs and agroecology. In addition to this initial bibliographical research, there was a methodology for working in the field that was selected, the agroecological space of Setúbal, where there was participant observation along with the exploratory research and semi-structured interviews were carried out. After analyzing the interviews, concepts related to the experience in the field of agroecological space and bibliographical research were developed, as well as analysis of transcripts of interviews. It was concluded that this research topic needs more work done, and the following serves as a support for further analysis.Item Uma análise sobre as concepções de masculinidades dos alunos de Bacharelado em Ciências Sociais da Universidade Federal Rural de Pernambuco (UFRPE)(2021-12-15) Stresser, Rafael Lucas; Silva, Maria Auxiliadora Gonçalves da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1540473468896261; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8925219823793143This research seeks to understand masculinities and socialization processes. The work begins with a debate on the socialization process that Peter and Brigitte Berger (1977) characterize as the imposition of social behaviors. Afterwards, a discussion on hombrity models. His theoretical discussion recalls what Connel (1995) said about patriarchal aspects of certain performances of masculinities. Finally, a short conversation about what Santos (2005) said about the university crises and then Chauí (1999) is used to think about her idea of an operational university and university as a social institution. Although direct observation was not possible due to the health crisis of COVID-19, the semi-structured online interview technique was used to answer the key problem of this research: how are the masculinity models of social science students at UFRPE formed? As a final result, it is found that factors such as parents, friends, and institutions such as the military service and the university are responsible for spreading models of masculinity, but the models are not static and are always in a state of reconfiguration.Item Aspectos sociais da disseminação do suicídio no Nordeste brasileiro: uma revisão de literatura(2021-07-23) Anjos, Francyelle Rayanne Bezerra dos; Paula Junior, Josias Vicente de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8013351027708968; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4546396318187003Suicide has been a source of intense worry in contemporary societies. In this sense, health authorities and institutions in Brazil have united efforts to understand and prevent suicide in the country, whose rates have increased over the past few years. The Northeast, traditionally mentioned in national surveys as a region whose suicide rates are low, has presented a high rate increase in the last decades, demanding greater attention from suicide studies about the region. However, it is possible to note that, in general, research on suicide in Brazil has been mainly concentrated in the areas of health, with very little contribution from the Social Sciences to understanding the subject. Classical sociology, on the other hand, is taken up by researchers from different areas for the theoretical foundation about suicide, since Émile Durkheim built an extensive analysis of the subject, in the beginnings of sociology in France. This research is part of this context, as a contribution to the retaking of the theme by Sociology in Brazil, with the objective of exploring sociocultural factors indicated in research from different areas of knowledge as contributions to the increase in suicide rates in northeastern Brazil, from 1993. The methodological procedures of the systematic literature review were used and the results were presented with a view to the construction of an overview of the knowledge produced on the subject. It was also prioritized the construction of a synthesis of the social and cultural aspects pointed out in these researches, understood as indications of paths that social researches can take from now on about the theme. It is considered that the results achieved demonstrate the recognition of researchers from other areas regarding the social dimension of suicide and its relationship with other social and cultural phenomena, as well as reinforcing the need for sociological studies on the subject.Item Assistência social e o Benefício de Prestação Continuada (BPC): analisando as condições dos beneficiários(2021-12-16) Aquino, Eric Leon Miranda de; Xavier, Maria Gilca Pinto; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6470044940848558; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9072586613566701This research aims to analyze the living conditions of 05 (five) users of the Continuous Cash Benefit in the city of Ribeirão/PE. The benefit was provided for in the Federal Constitution of 1988 and regulated by the Organic Law of Social Assistance – LOAS. This social security benefit consists of the transfer of a current minimum wage to elderly people and people with disabilities, whose families meet the criteria established by law. Through the qualitative study, we sought to understand and critically examine the reality of the lives of its beneficiaries. Therefore, it was necessary to scrutinize the profile of users, as well as their socio-economic characterization, identifying the results of social policy, checking the perception (income, consumption, between others) of the beneficiaries regarding the Continuous Cash Benefit. The results obtained reveal their precarious living conditions and show how these recipients see this public policy of social assistance existing in the country. The present study was developed, mainly, through bibliographic examination, with prevalence of deductive reasoning. It also included the analysis of 05 (five) cases, which was framed as a qualitative document with a view to examining aspects of the subjectivity of the participating subjects, this research also used data collection in interviews, in order to facilitate a detailed understanding of the recipients' beliefs, feelings, attitudes and values of the Continuous Cash Benefit.Item Ativismo anti-gordofobia em Pernambuco: reconstrução identitária de pessoas gordas(2021-07-21) Ramos, Anna Gabriela Martins de Arruda Pedreira; Portela Júnior, Aristeu; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2261345425063739The research proposes to investigate the dynamics used to construct a new identity for fat people based on the action of the activist groups Sou Plus PE and Gorda Sim, located in the state of Pernambuco, through semi-structured interviews with the founders of these groups. For that, a quick historical review is made about the construction of the image of the fat subject until today, going through debate of beauty, stigmatization of the fat body, cyberactivism, network activism, identities, besides to quoting about the progress of fat activism agenda in the political arena in the state. Item Brasileiros na Alemanha: um estudo sobre a migração e integração social(2021-12-17) Souza, Carina Jéssica de; Andrade, Fábio Bezerra de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9407924493644881; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5753905436768992When approaching the phenomenon of social integration of migrants, we focused on the perspective of Brazilian migrants living in Germany. In this sense, this paper aims to understand the current scenario of the Brazilian population currently living in Germany, in addition to investigating the process of social integration in the country of destination and analyzing their perspectives on integration policies, or the lack of them, based on their migratory experiences. We used quantitative methodology, with census data released by EUROSTAT, IBGE and Itamaraty, and qualitative methodology, with primary data produced through semi-structured interviews. We found that most of the subjects do not hold German citizenship or citizenship of other countries in 2011 that belonged to the European Union. The common points found in the interviewees' statements were the difficulty in learning the language; the cold climate; and the perception of the German State as strong and economically balanced.Item Breve panorama nacional sobre saúde e segurança do trabalho(2023-09-21) Cavalcante, Antônio Fábio Marques; Silva, Maria Auxiliadora Gonçalves da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1540473468896261This Brief Overview of Occupational Health and Safety in Brazil was created to analyze existing statistical data, focusing on the national and state context, specifically in Recife. The general objective is to identify the role of CERESTs on Occupational Health and Safety conditions in Recife. The specific goals are to identify, through statistical data, the number of cases of work-related accidents and raise awareness among workers by gender, age, education, and workplace. In this sense, my theoretical-methodological framework is based on a socio-anthropological approach of an essentially documentary, bibliographic, and statistical nature. It is therefore proposed to analyze and contribute to making knowledge about worker health and safety more evident and, simultaneously, open up space for more in-depth research aimed at specific and controversial aspects for the working class.Item Cabelo crespo e mulher negra: a relação entre cabelo e a construção da identidade negra(2018) Freitas, Geisiane Cristina de Souza; Silva, Maria Auxiliadora Gonçalves da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1540473468896261; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0789389803649488It is the main objective of this research to verify the impact of structural racism in the construction of the black woman's identity with respect to curly hair. The object of study was black women who are students of the UFRPE courses in social sciences, history and physical education, the research was approached through the qualitative method with the use of interviews to investigate the relationship of curly hair to the construction of black identity. From the notes made by them the concepts of race, racism, identity, aesthetics and black aesthetics were discussed and how this hiatus impacts on their subjectivity and perception of their respective identities. It was reached the understanding that as a result of the structural racism that inferiorizes the black beauty, the women did not recognize themselves as black before going through the hair transition and the resignification of their curly hair.Item Os caminhos da mobilidade urbana em tempos de pandemia SARS-CoV-2(2021-07-20) Silva, Caio Roberto Rocha da; Spenillo, Giuseppa Maria Daniel; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4350911353530987; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4887594703747618The Carrocracia phenomenon (TRÓI, 2017), that is, the despotic system in which we live and in which the car is at the center of the city's designs - in this case in Manguetown (Recife) - demonstrates a fragility of urban mobility in the capital of Pernambuco. The SARS-CoV-2 pandemic highlight, in this scenario, the presence of overcrowded buses and subways, which contributes to the increased possibility of contagion of the population by the coronavirus, and the importance of the bicycle as a means of urban transportation. In our study, carried out during the pandemic, we did 10 bike paths on the Binary of Sítio da Trindade (north of Recife), from what we deal with safety and comfort conditions in the cycle lane in question, in order to offer elements to think about the urban mobility and its senses in Recife. Our study is based on the authors ELIAS and SCOTSON (2000) to account for the power relationship between drivers (established) and non-drivers (outsiders), considering the traffic flow in study. We also based on HARVEY (2013) and LEFEBVRE (2001), to address urban mobility as part of the right to the city. Although it is preliminarily noted that Recife has an aptitude to be the bicycle capital in Brazil, the implementation of the National Cycle Plan continues in slow steps, which reveals a distance to realize the right to the city.Item Candidato único: reflexões sobre as eleições municipais no Agreste pernambucano em 2020(2021-07-22) Silva, Oziel de Souza; Leitão, Maria do Rosário de Fátima Andrade; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8086721690207482This article seeks to analyze the power relations in the Agreste region of Pernambuco, from the Phenomenon of the Single Candidacy to the 2020 Elections, in 03 municipalities of this Region and, more precisely, in the city of Jupi, where the same occurs for the third time in its history recent policy. Divided into 03 parts, where the First, in an introductory way, evokes the Objective of the dialogue about the emergence and interest in the subject. In Methodology, it was used as a research method carried out in bibliographic and scientific literature files, in the Scielo database (Scientific Electronic Library Online), Oasis and other sites through Bibliographic Research and questioning, from Exploratory Research and Media news sources about this phenomenon. The second part, focused on Academic Production, Conceptualization and the historical part of the emergence of Coronelismo and its action in Brazil, in the Northeast, in some cities in the Agreste region of Pernambuco and in the City of Jupi. The third part, which makes a parallel on the continuation of Coronelismo, from the perspective of a new appearance and evolution as a sociopolitical system, thus opening new influences adapting to the new means of continuity of patterns of domination, this being the Neo- Coronelismo, with reflections on the last Municipal Elections and the effects produced in the social, economic and political scenario in the region.Item Uma caravela aporta no canavial? Item Cinedebate e questões de gênero: o neoconservadorismo na escola(2021-07-21) Mello, Fernanda de Carvalho Azevedo; Silva, Maria Auxiliadora Gonçalves da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1540473468896261; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6482348204704983Item Cocos de roda em Igarassu: saberes, práticas e resistências presentes na cultura popular(2023-09-13) Silva, Natasha Hevelyn Oliveira da; Sousa, João Morais de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9057718684364301; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1376953044534321Located in the field of cultural studies, from a sociological point of view, this research addresses the manifestation of Coco de Roda in the municipality of Igarassu. Tangenting the aspects of identity and memory, this work aims to identify which practices and knowledge of the makers of coco de roda in Igarassu that contribute to the construction of cultural identities that resist the domination of mass culture, the cultural industry and the impositions of local political power. In the theoretical framework, culture is understood as a system of symbols (Geertz, 1978) constructed through the socialization process, that is, it is about the customs, habits, codes and beliefs that are learned by the subjects from their insertion in the society. society (Laraia, 2020). Even to understand culture, it is necessary to understand it as a social and material process, so that questions related to the economy are not separated from culture, composing an inseparable totality. From this perspective, the meaning of culture is closely connected to social conflicts, political issues and the entire framework of power relations present in societies (Canclini, 1983; Williams, 2011). And popular culture as referring to the traditions, customs, uses and memories of the popular classes (Bosi, 2000), where conflict also prevails and a threshold is established between agency and structure, the structure of domination produced by a legitimizing identity and the agency produced by an identity of resistance (Castells, 1999). In this sense, we understand popular culture as tenacious and capable of resisting and building counter-hegemonic alternatives (Gramsci, 1995; Thompson, 1998). Regarding the methodology, we used the qualitative method, having symbolic interactionism as a theoretical-methodological framework. For data collection, direct and participant observation techniques and semi-structured interviews were used. As an analysis technique, content analysis was used. The research results showed that the cultural groups of coco de roda suffer from widespread devaluation by the government, but that they have been resisting and contributing to the formation of participatory, solidary and counter-hegemonic identities. Therefore, the social impact of this research lies in revealing these realities, promoting visibility for the theme and strengthening the construction of other works and public policies that value popular culture as part of the development of a human, integrated and diverse society. Item Comunidade Quilombola Onze Negras: identidade e reconhecimento em questão(2017) Silva, Jairo Hely; Barros, Marcos André de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3743403239578149; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2547694049874830The recognition of quilombolas communities is a very important problem for the Social Sciences. In the last periods, studies that analyze the nuances of this problem, address the issues inherent to it, as well as the implications that are present in the long paths taken by the quilombola communities, which aim at their struggle for recognition, in a social process that also materializes in the Legal plan. However, this recognition of quilombola communities can only be achieved, of course, through uninterrupted conflicts. In this sense, we intuit that the dialogical reality that involves the recognition of a certain quilombola community can be understood from the analysis of the contexts of a struggle for recognition, which is undertaken by each community, in a complex relation of historical construction of its Identity, mediated By interaction with the social whole. In order to understand how the factors that imply the construction of the identity of the quilombola communities and that operate from their recognition, the present work seeks, in a case study, to analyze the issues of this important social process. The research presented here was carried out in the community Quilombola Onze Negras, located in the municipality of Cabo de Santo Agostinho, metropolitan region of Recife, capital of the state of Pernambuco. With participant observation sessions and semistructured interviews; Dialoging with the theories of identity and the historical analysis of the quilombola question in Brazil; Using the approaches of the theory of recognition, we intend to contribute to the discussion about the recognition and construction of the quilombola identity, in approximation with the reality of this community, contributing to the debate that involves the themes of recognition and identity of quilombola communities.Item A construção simbólica do dinheiro na infância: estudo comparativo entre estudantes de escolas pública e privada(2019) Silva, Lucas Nonato Souza e; Paula Junior, Josias Vicente de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8013351027708968; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6982524837834982People live in a society in which money is in much of the relationships that individuals establish in their daily lives. Thus, subjects are immersed in this financial context from childhood and therefore end up developing an idea about money that may have influence on how they dealt with their lives as adults. This paper seeks to investigate children's social representations of money. For this purpose, the relationships established by students of the third year of the elementary school of the public school and the private school of the city of Recife were investigated by means of the free association technique in order to discover which representations these groups of individuals had of the money. Through the quantification of the terms used by the children and the analysis of content made, we sought categories that could outline the links that participants make with money and map the place of money in the social life of thesesubjects. With this, it is hoped, minimally, to be able to explain the influences that the social relations and the sharing of spaces have in the formation of the concepts from very early ages in the social coexistence.Item Construção simbólica do imaginário social no cinema periférico(2024-03-08) Lima, Kyahra de Souza; Faria, Maurício Sardá de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1513772085737367; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6469503191568508This study aims at an analysis of the symbolic construction of the social imaginary of class in peripheral cinema. For this elaboration, the concept of habitus in Pierre Bourdieu, the notion of experience and culture elaborated by E. P Thompson, and the production of a peripheral epistemology by Tiaraju Pablo D'Andrea resulting in the conceptualization of the peripheral subject was taken as a theoretical basis. Equally fundamental to penetrate peripheral cinema, a brief conceptualization, ebaborada by Ângela Pryston, about the relationship and influence of Third Cinema in the emergence of peripheral cinema will support the filmic analysis of Mato Seco em Chamas (2022), by filmmakers Adirley Queirós and Joana Pimenta. Item O consumo de bebidas alcoólicas como forma de lazer nas classes populares do Recife(2019-07-18) Oliveira, Mônica Maria de; Assis, Rodrigo Vieira de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8735573786326770This monograph presents a small study about the consumption of alcoholic beverages as a form of leisure in the popular classes of Recife, to analyze this phenomenon resorting to the dispositional theory or the action and to the concepts of social classes, leisure and consumption. We thus constructed two sociological portraits to identify the motives or factors that led individuals in the lower classes to choose to consume alcoholic beverages as a leisure practice, rather than other forms of free time use. We hypothesize that the consumption of alcoholic beverages is considered by these actors a common act, carried out by means of embodied dispositions built during their life trajectories. At the same time as a result of this cultivation of inclinations for this practice, the consumption of alcoholic beverages contribute, in this social stratum, to an expansion of socialization networks that involve concrete dimensions of social life, such as family, professional life and relationships Community policies. Therefore, the consumption of alcoholic beverages is seen by these individuals of the popular classes as a legitimate form of leisure, even though they are aware that there are other possible forms of entertainment that do not necessarily involve this act. The relationship of these other forms, however, according to the data of this research, in order to be considered legitimate, like the consumption of alcoholic beverages, must undergo a continuous process of enrollment in individuals, as predispositions to other ways of thinking, feel and act in the social world.
