Item Fake news na bovinocultura e seus impactos no agronegócio brasileiro(2022-10-04) Cavalcanti, Amanda Barbosa de Siqueira; Monnerat, João Paulo Ismério dos Santos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3851426263880079; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5972982453438490In the 21st century, the population became the target of “Fake News”, sharing and consuming content from dubious sources. Agribusiness has also become the target of these fallacies and, as a result, ends up being seen as a villain by society. The dissemination of news such as methane gas pollution caused by cattle farming and the fear that the population has with meat consumption end up taking root in the minds of consumers and for lack of information from reliable sources. It is very difficult to undo the lie in people's minds. Thus, the present study aims to expose the lies and show the effect on agribusiness activity, where one has to be concerned with good practices in processes involving animal production. It is essential to work to inform consumers about the real situation of animals and the environment when they interact with Agro. That is, it will be demonstrated that the rural producer is not oblivious to the current situation of the planet and its responsibility to the consumer, environment and society.
