The objective of this work is to carry out a survey about the podcasts produced by history teachers and historians. The research carried out the following steps: bibliographic readings on the history of the podcast and the uses of the podcast in education and a survey of the historical-themed podcasts produced by history teachers and historians. The survey was carried out on the following platforms: Google, Apple Podcasts and Spotify. We use the following criteria: podcasts that use history as their main theme, with Portuguese as their spoken language and within Brazilian territory and that a history teacher and/or historian be their main producer and/or presenter. The conclusion is that there is a new production of programs aimed at the general public and the scholar public, with a variety of formats and themes, most of them started in 2020, which enables a wide range of possibilities for using the podcast in classrooms, whether as an object of study, reference material or a program construction project.

Emergency remote education is an imminent challenge for teachers of Public Institutions of Higher Education because it requires digital skills that were not always part of its formative process. Training practices were integrated in the transition phase of public HEIs in order to mobilize in their faculty the awakening to the development of these competencies and skills essential to the remote teaching process. Thus, this article portrays, through a case study, the teacher training process in a public HEI through the use of the podcast tool. Through the teachers' perception of the experiences offered in the course, the article will answer four questions about this moment: who are we? How do we live? What did it mean? What will we do?. Most of the students were women, aged 36-45 years, with average ability with the use of digital resources. Through experiences offered by the podcast course, they were able to reflect on active practices in the perspective of the use of podcast in the active perspective of learning. The most common feelings experienced throughout the course were curiosity, awakening to autonomy (willingness to do) and joy. The practices experienced demonstrated how much the affective character has that is more than present in remote emergency teaching in order to ensure the permanence of this student in remote teaching, as well as meaningful learning. Future work should invest in the experience report of both students and teachers regarding the practices offered in the semester of emergency remote education.

With the tremendous growth of Podcasts and the professionalization of its creators,to the point that news networks call this as Podcast’s ”golden age”, new tools have emerged to assist its content producers in building and maintaining of their channels. In this context, finding features inside episodes that provide broader reach to the target audience is of great value to both creators and listeners, allowing channels to stay active longer and offer better content quality. Thus, this paper proposes a study of popularity analysis of brazilian’s podcasts using a podcast audience analysis tool in one of the most used channel and episode aggregators in the world, iTunes. By using Web Scraping tools to collect available and necessary information, also tools for transcriptions of the audios’s episodes in orderto obtain what has been said, and calculating metrics to measure the accuracy of the generated model, therefore making an analysis of which information is relevant or not o predicting a channel’s popularity. Results displayed were favorable in the correlation between the categories analyzed individually and the its text, whereas in an analysis in which categories are not discriminated there is a low relationship between text and popularity, demonstrating that the category of a given channel plays an important role in analyzing its popularity.
