Item Estudantes universitários e ensino remoto: impactos provocados à saúde mental durante a pandemia de COVID-19(2024-03-11) Freitas, Anne Elise Alves de; Lindoso, Rosângela Cely Branco; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3076590717855221; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9158087822068202Studies and reports state that university students are a population with a high prevalence of depression, anxiety and high levels of stress during the COVID-19 pandemic. This fact has sparked growing interest in possible relationships between academic experiences and mental health. In this context, the main objective of this research was to investigate the impacts caused on the mental health of Physical Education students at the Federal Rural University of Pernambuco (UFRPE) caused by emergency remote teaching ERE, as well as the facilitating and hindering aspects of the new method of teaching, the negative and positive impacts of remote classes associated with the learning process and the consequences caused to students' mental health. The research had a qualitative-quantitative approach and was constructed through bibliographic and exploratory research. Data were collected through a questionnaire administered online. The results obtained were a total of 36 responses and the participants were undergraduates who were between the fourth and eighth semester, deprioritized and graduated (completed). This research contributes to the investigation of the aspects and impacts of ERE that were relevant in the graduation of students from the Physical Education course at UFRPE. The results demonstrate a statistically significant negative impact on factors associated with mental health, academic achievement and the impacts of emergency remote teaching on academic experiences during the pandemic. Finally, the need for studies on the topic to be expanded seems clear, not only in relation to carrying out new searches in other virtual libraries, aiming to expand and enrich the results, with the aim of analyzing students' mental health knowledge post-pandemic through scientific productions, as well as field research to obtain a better understanding of the object of study in question.Item Indicadores do mercado de trabalho do Brasil e do Nordeste entre 2019.1 - 2023.2(2024-03-08) Aquino, Jadson Douglas da Cruz; Abreu, Eliane Aparecida Pereira de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3101422198167935In 2019, northeastern labor market indicators revealed a disparity in relation to Brazil, according to (Aquino; Nascimento, 2020) despite the Northeast Region representing only 23.5% of the Economically Active Population (EAP); This region was home to 40% of underemployed workers and approximately 61% of the unemployed in the country. At the beginning of 2020, restrictive measures were imposed in the country as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic; Such measures generated transformations in the job market in Brazil and the Northeast. As in the period before the pandemic, the Northeast Region had worse labor market indicators in relation to the Brazilian economy and the pandemic impacted the dynamics of the labor market in all regions, this study aims to verify the effects of the Covid pandemic- 19 on labor market indicators in the Northeast compared to Brazil. The methodology begins with a bibliographic review on the history of economic development in the Northeast, providing an understanding of how this influenced the regional job market. Secondly, an exploratory and descriptive analysis is carried out, using data from IBGE's Continuous PNAD, covering the period from the first quarter of 2019 to the second quarter of 2023. The results indicate that the job market in the Northeast was most affected due to the initial shock resulting from the pandemic compared to the national average.Item “A máquina de moer de gente”: os impactos da COVID-19 no sistema prisional de Pernambuco(2024-03-05) Silva, Felipe Henrique Oliveira da; Fernandes, Raquel de Aragão Uchôa; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9733983138830524; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9760836624250143In Brazil, discussions around the issue of incarceration and the prison situation have been a constant target of debates on the agenda of human rights, public security, criminal policy and the allocation of the Brazilian state in the international context. With the arrival of the COVID-19 pandemic, it has become necessary to take a closer and more vigilant look at the situation surrounding Brazilian prisons and especially Pernambuco's prisons. Over the course of 2019 and 2024, we focused our studies on the theme of Pernambuco's prisons. Investigating the trajectories of women who have left prison and the experiences of professionals who have worked in prisons. Faced with the emergence of the crisis that was on the horizon, our research into prisons took on a new debate, and from that context we focused our studies on the impacts of COVID-19 on the prison system in Pernambuco. This paper seeks to contribute to Consumer Science studies on the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on the Pernambuco prison system, based on an articulated analysis of production and consumer relations, which form a dynamic and complex whole that relates to and transforms itself into social, economic, political and cultural phenomena. Based on the reports, bulletins and ordinances published by the National Penitentiary Department (DEPEN) and the National Council of Justice (CNJ), we sought to analyze the impacts of COVID-19 within the Pernambuco prison system; analyze the actions taken by the state to deal with the pandemic; and analyze the impacts on prisoners. Finally, our work seeks to be a contribution to the field of consumer studies aimed at studies of the prison system and subaltern trajectories. Item Análise regional das diferenças nas notas do ENEM entre as escolas públicas e privadas no pós-pandemia(2024-03-05) Costa, Jackson Antônio; Souza, Poema Isis Andrade de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2017359154121135; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9376127966328375The ENEM (National High School Exam), created in 1998, is the main means of access to higher education in Brazil, providing access to programs such as SISU (Unified Selection System), PROUNI (University for All Program) and FIES (Student Financing Fund). Therefore, this study aims to understand the factors that influence the ENEM scores of candidates, analyzing two databases (2019 and 2022) to examine the variations in scores in the period before and after the COVID-19 pandemic and, consequently, the disparities between the Southeast and Northeast regions of Brazil. At first, the Ordinary Least Squares (OLS) model was estimated with the proposition of analyzing the correlation of the scores obtained by the candidate with the school of origin, using socioeconomic variables as control variables. It is important to consider the bias of the school’s origin and the socioeconomic profile of the students, as students from private schools tend to have better grades. To mitigate this bias, the Propensity Score Matching (PSM) method was used, which is a valuable tool when the intention is to control selection biases. The results found reveal a discrepancy between the years 2019 and 2022, demonstrating an intensification of regional distortions in education, with better grade yields for students from private schools in the post-COVID-19 pandemic in the Southeast region.Item Federalismo e pandemia: um estudo sobre a atuação do governo federal e dos governos estaduais no enfrentamento a pandemia do COVID-19(2022-05-27) Silva, Lealdo Rafael da; Andrade, Fábio Bezerra de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9407924493644881; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4578417256338650Item Modelos matemáticos epidemiológicos do tipo SIS e SIR e o segundo método de Lyapunov(2023-05-05) Santos, Letícia Maria Menezes dos; Didier, Maria Ângela Caldas; Freitas, Lorena Brizza Soares; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2302580820419163; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9721552594807972; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9115322351374062This work aims to study epidemiological mathematical models of the SIS (Susceptible- Infected-Susceptible) and SIR (Susceptible-Infected-Removed) types, focusing on the stability of the equilibrium points of the differential equation systems that describe them. Stability analysis will be presented in two ways, using the eigenvalue characteristics and/or the trace of the system matrix and using the Second Lyapunov Method. We also address the stability of variations of these models, considering non-constant total population and vital dynamics (births and deaths), or dividing the population of infected individuals into exposed individuals (infected who do not yet transmit the disease) and infectious individuals (infected who transmit the disease). We define the Basic Reproduction Value, and for some models, we present ways to obtain it from the involved rates and initial conditions of the system. A calculation that determines the maximum number of infected individuals reached was performed for the SIR model with constant total population and without vital dynamics. Finally, to understand how these models are practically applied, we decided to study the evolution of the COVID-19 pandemic in the state of Pernambuco in 2020 and 2021 through the SIR model with constant population size and no vital dynamics. To do this, we calculated the Basic Reproduction Value and the maximum number of infected individuals for each case. It is worth noting that an evolutionary algorithm was used to obtain a model that best approximated the real data.Item Aprendizagem colaborativa apoiada por computador durante a pandemia do Covid-19: uma revisão sistemática(2022-10-07) Melo, Daniel Lemos de; Araújo, Carlos Julian Menezes; Andrade, Ermeson Carneiro de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2466077615273972; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3156174527107999; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4495434877384543With the social isolation measures caused by the pandemic in 2020, educational institutions had to plan alternatives to ensure remote teaching. Among the various approaches, we cite the Computer Supported Collaborative Learning (CSCL) strategy, which seeks, through computers, to promote collaborative teaching remotely. This study seeks to evaluate how the use of the CSCL was during this period of isolation, through a systematic review. From the query in several databases, it was possible to identify 120 works that reported experiences using CSCL. The results indicate considerable success in adopting the CSCL strategy, as well as trends in technology use and approaches in each region of the planet.Item Os impactos do ensino remoto nas aulas de educação física de professores do ensino médio no período pandêmico de COVID-19(2023-04-30) Sanguinett, Rivaldo Reis; Mello, Rachel Costa de Azevedo; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8749101676171464; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1445371799321987The research object of study is remote teaching in schools in a specific component of the curriculum: Physical Education. So we ask: what impacts does Remote Teaching have on High School Physical Education classes from the perspective of teachers in the period of the Covid 19 Pandemic? We defined as a general objective: to analyze impacts of Remote Teaching in Physical Education classes of High School teachers during the Covid 19 Pandemic period. of high school teachers in the Covid 19 Pandemic period; to analyze changes proposed in the teaching process by High School Physical Education teachers during the Covid 19 Pandemic period. from the Google Forms platform. Teachers who teach in the remote emergency period in the first year of high school classes were chosen for the field research sampling. The analysis of the forms was carried out using the methodology of Discursive Textual Analysis by MORAES and GALIAZZI (2006). As a conclusion of the research, we can say that the impacts of remote teaching of physical education in high school were considered negative in relation to infrastructure. However, it was possible to highlight successful activities that remained as a legacy. Advances in the use of new technologies and pedagogical tools in physical education classes.
