Item O Xangô Pernambucano no Museu do Estado de Pernambuco: a narrativa reproduzida no Núcleo Afro-brasileiro da Exposição Pernambuco Território e Patrimônio de um Povo(2024-03-04) Santana, Luiz Felipe de; Silva, Lucas Victor; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4776423706933290This article seeks to analyze the Xangô Pernambucano nucleus that makes up the permanent exhibition Pernambuco: Territory and Heritage of the People at the Pernambuco State Museum (MEPE). We will initially discuss the constitution of the collection that makes up the collection and then the way in which these objects are presented in the exhibition. On this occasion, we will debate the function of historical museums and the legitimacy that the narratives reproduced in these spaces have in society. Our research sources are: the curatorial text of the exhibition and the expography of the exhibition core, analyzed from the perspective of History. Our theoretical foundation drew on authors such as Francisco Regis L. Ramos and Myrian Sepúlveda dos Santos. As results of the investigation, we affirm the understanding of the narrative of the Xangô Pernambucano exhibition center as a reproduction of Gilberto Freyre's interpretation of the formation of Brazilian identity.Item Uma reescritura da Liga Camponesa de Galileia em Vitória de Santo Antão(2023-09-19) Santos, Leonildo de Oliveira; Silva, Uiran Gerbara da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7832551328754125The Galileia Peasant Leagues was an important Brazilian agrarian social movement that emerged in the Engenho Galileia, Vitória de Santo Antão, in 1955. The article begins with an analysis of the historical context that led to the emergence of the Galileia Peasant Leagues. The movement emerged at a time of growing social inequality and income concentration in the Brazilian countryside. Rural workers were subjected to precarious working conditions and were exploited by landowners. The movement operated for nine years, until it was extinguished by the 1964 military coup. During this period, the Galileia Peasant Leagues gained an important space in the national political scene, becoming one of the main defenders of agrarian reform. The movement also contributed to the political awareness of rural workers and to the organization of peasant communities.Item Memorial da UFRPE: a divulgação da memória institucional através de ações educativas(2020-10-15) Oliveira, Karoline Mery de; Pacheco, Ricardo de Aguiar; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1888823708270264; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4899888101948247Understanding that the museum exists for and to establish a relationship between its community and significant objects of its culture, the present study aims to understand the social role of the UFRPE Memorial as a space that fulfills this dimension of museums. For that, we made a reflection on the pedagogical actions and didactic games developed by the Memorial team. For the research, the theoretical references related to the fields of museology and the history of museums were read. We also seek to understand UFRPE's constitution processes and their social importance to understand the meaning of building a Memorial for a university. In this way, in dialogue with the discussion about the UFRPE Memorial, we used theorists linked to the fields of Memory, Education in Museums, Teaching History in Museums and Heritage Education. The methodology employed also includes an analysis of the sources available in the memorial collection and an analysis of the execution of the games. Finally, we conclude that the educational games used do not act in isolation in themselves, but seek to be based on theoretical research and on the UFRPE Memorial collection. They make each piece used as a reference and source of knowledge about the history of the university. We understand that the communication carried out inside the Memorial corresponds to an educational process that stimulates and facilitates the interaction between the visiting community and the team responsible for maintaining the memorial, enabling the construction and exchange of knowledge.Item “Becos da resistência”: uma análise historiográfica sobre Conceição Evaristo e Kmila CDD(2019-12-17) Paraiso, Diana Bárbara do Nascimento; Dantas, Mariana Albuquerque; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5957556943043849This work has the objective to do a comparative analysis between Conceição Evaristo’s book “becos da memória” and the Kmilla CDD’s EP “Preta Cabulosa”, black women, presenting in lyricism strongly representing discourses of afro-Brazilian memory, from the oral and musical rescue. Both born in the peripheral of large urban centers, Belo Horizonte e Rio de Janeiro, carry in their experiences and, consequently, in their musical production, collective memory. Moreover, It is intended to point out the absence of the use of rap lyrics and songs in the teaching of history in schools. Thus, it is sought as the theories that encompass cultural history in Brazil, highly widespread from the 1980s, to aggregate the subjectivities, new approaches and new objects, expanding the History writing of Water Benjamin, E.P. Thompson, Margareth Rago and others, influenced the historiographic rescue of these authors who use different languages, the literature and rap music, respectively, contributing to the protagonization of memories generall silenced in national history, both at the university and in other formal and non-formal spaces of education.
