Item Desenvolvimento de um sistema de aquisição de dados de baixo custo para uma bancada de refrigeração(2023-09-11) Foresto, João Pedro Severo; Martins, Weliton Soares; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9333618261815257; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4515672046165385Refrigeration and air conditioning systems are essential in residential, commercial, and industrial segments. The data acquisition and the control of equipment results in an improvement in efficiency and a decrease in energy consumption, considering that the data obtained bring a better visualization and understanding of the components of the system. This work aims to automate data acquisition from a vapor compression refrigeration workbench by developing a low-cost data acquisition system. The system was developed using Arduino and LabView with the assistance of LINX software. After the communication between the controller and the program, six thermocouples were installed on the refrigeration workbench to acquire the temperatures in the program of the data acquisition system. For reading system pressure values, a camera was used to capture images from six analog pressure gauges. From reading these data, the pressure-enthalpy diagram of the thermodynamic cycle was obtained. The experimental refrigeration workbench has been used in teaching and research activities. The data acquisition system developed for the refrigeration workbench improved the realization of experiments, all wing a better comparison between experimental and theoretical results.Item Parametrização da carga térmica de um restaurante através de um código computacional(2022-05-27) Silva, Felipe Mateus Laurentino da; Silva, Rogério Soares da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5570338185824272; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9299362453501615Refrigeration systems are essential for the thermal comfort of people, in addition to other important existing applications. Correct sizing of air conditioning equipment represents system efficiency and, consequently, better performance. Therefore, this study deals with the development of a computational code in the EES (Engineering Equation Solver) platform to determine the energy consumption of the thermal door of the evaporator units (thermal load) of a fictitious medium-sized restaurant. The restaurant is located in Recife-PE, accepts 250 customers and 17 responsible employees, in addition to indoors. The study also presents the inclusion of a paved surface parking lot and its influence on energy input also through light into the restaurant's interior, in addition to parameterized results of the consequences of the number of people entering the restaurant's interior. From these data, it was possible to observe the customers and resources, through the thermal load of the restaurant, to the point of considering the implementation of the Variable Refrigerant Volume (VRV) system at the point of reflection of the thermal load. The script used for the human comfort of load obeyed as current norms, related to systems that aim at the thermal in closed places. It was verified that the inclusion of a paved surface parking lot increases by 900% the insolation values for the interior of the restaurant. In this way, it is concluded that the computational study can result in a more real and reliable car system to the demand of the establishment.Item Dimensionamento e seleção de equipamentos para um sistema de acondicionamento e refrigeração de frutas e carnes(2021-02-12) Oliveira, Diêgo Mendes de; Marques, Adriano da Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0104058705628000Refrigeration and air conditioning allow, through the storage method, an extension in the life of alimentary products in places with adverse climates. This work constitutes the design and of a cold room that should be installed in Belém-PA, responsible for the packaging and refrigeration of apple and pork respectively. The project consists in the calculation of the thermal load and the specifications of the equipment necessary for the operation of a cold chamber. In this work, we specified the factors that influenced the development of the project and the equipment’s principle of operation. The designed system uses the steam mechanical compression cooling cycle with the R-404a refrigerant. The cold storage chamber in question has a capacity to cool five tonnes of apple (at a temperature of 0 °C) and freeze ten tonnes of pork (at a temperature of -5.5 °C) daily. All calculation of the project, was based on the current technical standards of ASHRAE (American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and AirConditioning Engineers), aiming at equipment that offers safety to its operators, consumers and a good economic condition of operation. For the physical space, the expanded polyurethane was used as insulating material, with a thickness of 100 mm. The results obtained indicate that the largest portion of thermal load involved in the project would be related to the products, reaching 21.77 kW for apples and 137.7kW for pork, which means 97% of the total value of the total thermal load. The results indicate that the projected system should promote a heat removal of 736,7 BTU/h from the internal space, using three evaporators and five condensing units.
