Item Simulação numérica de uma prótese transtibial do tipo flex para corrida(2024-09-27) Barbosa, Jéssica Natália da Silva; Lins, Erb Ferreira; Oliveira, Edilma Pereira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5272283698536321; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2366259555737290Prostheses play an essential role in the recovery of autonomy in amputees, allowing the practice of physical exercises essential for physical and mental health. This study analyzed the structural behavior and blade optimization of a flex-type transtibial prosthesis, considering the biomechanics of human gait and the reaction forces of the ground during running. The methodology adopted involved the three-dimensional modeling of the prosthesis, the structural analysis through the finite element method and the optimization through a correlation analysis of dimensional parameters to minimize the stresses on the prosthesis. The results showed that the maximum equivalent stress in the model optimized by the applied methodology showed a reduction of 24.73% in relation to the reference model. The methodology presented allows the construction of prostheses with geometric constraints that simultaneously minimize engineering requirements.Item Levantamento da liberdade de operação atual de biodigestores domésticos no Brasil(2024-05-22) Santos, Damerson Vinícius Santana dos; Centeno González, Felipe Orlando; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9688427609049172; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0844925584480221The population growth along with economic development has increased waste Production, however, waste treatment methods have not evolved at the same pace. Due to the high demand for waste treatment from households nowadays, biodigesters are becoming increasingly relevant as a potential technology capable of proper treatment, in addition to generating biogas and biofertilizer as by-products. However, this knowledge is still limited, so a survey of domestic biodigester models capable of meeting these demands is essential to disseminate this technology to the public. Therefore, the present work aims to survey the operational freedom of domestic biodigester models and the state of the art in this area, classify the researched models, and review patent research mechanisms. For this purpose, a study was conducted on search techniques used to apply appropriate filters, thereby reducing the amount of information and focusing on the subject at hand. Subsequently, an approach to the types of searches made in patent databases was conducted to reduce the number of patents and focus only on domestic biodigester models. Based on the research methods, a diverse set of domestic biodigester models was found, designed to meet the needs of both small households, as exemplified by the HomeBiogas model, and the requirements of a community of 100 people, as in the case of the Plug Flow model. It was observed that operational freedom varies depending on the information source, with scientific research having greater operational freedom and patent models having less. The combination of this knowledge resulted in the proposition of potential solutions for the treatment of waste produced in households, playing an important role in promoting sustainable practices and advancing environmental and social development.Item Estruturação e implementação do planejamento e controle de manutenção em uma indústria de ração animal(2024-02-27) Souza, Matheus Victor Rêgo de; Moura, Alexandre Douglas Araújo de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3602476790054326; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5282063337624711The production of animal feed is an intricate activity that demands the implementation of efficient and effective processes. To achieve this objective, it is crucial to properly maintain the assets involved, aiming to increase the reliability, availability and quality of products, in addition to reducing costs. In this context, this work proposed to present the structuring and implementation of Maintenance Planning and Control (PCM) in an animal feed factory. The process began with a comprehensive study of the plant, its processes and machinery. The literature consulted provided essential information that was applied consistently and aligned with the company's specific needs and reality. Additionally, data relating to the first 14 months of maintenance planning and control operation were analyzed. During this analysis, crucial indicators were examined, such as the number of work orders (corrective, preventive, lubrication), MTBF (mean time between failures ) and MTTR (mean time to repair). This approach enabled an in-depth understanding of the current status of the plant and its assets, providing valuable insights to continually improve production and maintenance processes. This study developed a Risk Management Plan (RMP) specifically for the mechanical workshop at the Unidade Acadêmica do Cabo de Santo Agostinho (UACSA), Universidade Federal Rural de Pernambuco (UFRPE). The goal was to create an RMP tailored to the workshop's conditions and needs, based on a detailed analysis of occupational and environmental risks, which included risk identification and analysis through in situ research, organizational research, and equipment manual analysis. Using this information, a risk inventory was developed, classifying risks by probability and severity. The action plan employs the 5S methodology to enhance organization and efficiency in the work environment, with corrective and preventive actions and criteria to assess the effectiveness of the implemented interventions. The development and implementation of this plan aim not only to meet regulatory requirements but also to improve safety and operational efficiency in the workshop. It is expected that the proposed measures will contribute to a safer work environment, reduce accident-related costs, and strengthen the institution's image.Item Desenvolvimento de um aplicativo para gestão de treinamentos do time de manutenção em uma indústria metalúrgica do Polo Industrial de SUAPE – Cabo de Santo Agostinho(2024-09-24) Santos, Gustavo Felix dos; Silva, Karla Carolina Alves da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6261877082189807; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1876824907649818This work presents the development of an application designed to complement traditional training management methods within an organization. The application, developed on the PowerApps platform using a Low Code approach, aims to facilitate the monitoring and management of employee training in the maintenance department of a company located in the Suape industrial complex, Cabo de Santo Agostinho. Its main objective is to provide a digital platform that allows the verification of the training status of maintenance technicians, identifying those in "Attention", "Expired," and/or "OK" status. Traditionally, this data has been managed manually, a time-consuming and error-prone process. The transition to a digital system ensures data accuracy, reduces the time required to access and update information, and improves the overall efficiency of the department's activity scheduling process. During the testing phase, conducted between January and august 2024, comparative data was gathered on the training consultation process before and after the application's implementation. Preliminary results indicated a significant improvement in the efficiency and productivity of the maintenance department, comparable to other projects that have utilized PowerApps as a quick and cost-effective solution.Item Análise de tensões em flanges eólicos utilizando ferramentas CAE(2024-03-07) Inocencio, Igor Guilerme Neri; Lins, Erb Ferreira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5272283698536321; https://lattes.cnpq.br/4975371866385642The growth demand for energy power and the use of wind technology to generate it is a current trend on today worldwide. Seeking to better understand the behavior of a crucial structural component of wind turbines, the present study employs the finite element method to examine stress distribution in the wind tower flange under operational loads conditions without wind action and under extreme wind speeds as speciefied by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC). The results highlight stress concentration areas and identify potential susceptibility to fatigue failure, while also assessing the impact of these loads on the structure's integrity. Finite element analysis reveals stress distributions in the flange, with higher concentration susceptibility identified in external regions. The values obtained from this analysis, applied to a fatigue analysis, demonstrate that the flange's safety factors are high for the magnitudes of stresses encountered.Item Avaliação de revestimentos galvanizados industriais com e sem cromatização para avaliação das propriedades anticorrosivas(2024-03-08) Costa, João Alberto Martins; Pina, Euclides Apolinário Cabral de; Vieira, Magda Rosângela Santos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2192310329330578; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5490051645784422The hot-dip galvanizing process is widely used as a form of anti-corrosion protection for metallic structures, mutually promoting a physical barrier and cathodic protection of the substrate, acting as a “sacrificial electrode” if the base metal is exposed. However, the zinc layer, when exposed to humid and aggressive environments, is quickly subjected to the white zinc corrosion process. In order to minimize this process, the chromatization process is commonly used in combination, which consists of immersing the galvanized part in a bath containing hexavalent and trivalent chromium ions. Despite the protective nature, the biggest limitation of this process is the toxic and carcinogenic effects of Cr+6. The present work aims to investigate the effectiveness of anti-corrosion protection of the chromatization layer applied to galvanized carbon steel obtained through an industrial process, when exposed to NaCl. In the present study, 3 conditions of galvanized coatings obtained through an industrial process on ASTM A36 steel were investigated: G (galvanized steel); C10 (galvanization + chromatization for 10s) and C30 (galvanization + chromatization for 30s). The samples were subjected to immersion in molten zinc for 2 minutes and the chromatizing bath had a chromium concentration of 0,46% m/v de Cr3+, with the entire process carried out at the company Galvanisa (Igarassu-PE). The thickness of the coatings and the roughness of the surfaces were monitored. To evaluate the microstructure of the coating, micrographs were obtained by SEM and compositional analysis was carried out by EDS. To analyze corrosion resistance, linear polarization tests were carried out in a 3.5% NaCl solution and the morphology and composition of the oxidized surfaces were subsequently analyzed using SEM and EDS, respectively. The results indicated that the coatings obtained present heterogeneity in terms of thickness, roughness and composition. The C10 and C30 coatings did not present a uniform distribution of Cr on the galvanized surface, with sections more susceptible to corrosion being observed, due to the absence of this element. The C30 condition showed lower anodic current density, indicating a behavior of reduced corrosion kinetics.Item Dimensionamento do grupo moto-propulsor de um aeromodelo(2024-02-19) Batista, Leonardo Henrique Tavares; Simões, Thiago Araujo; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7903824177570749; https://lattes.cnpq.br/1898774956397470Aviation stands out as one of the essential pillars in modern society, offering individuals mobility, convenience, and comfort. In this aspect, aeromodels, representing the first step in the aviation journey, are the subject of study in this work. A crucial aspect in the construction of these aeromodels is the powerplant assembly, formed by the engine and the propeller. This study explores the process of determining the performance of this assembly for aircraft development. Using software such as Excel and Propeller Selector, data were obtained for the elaboration of aircraft performance analyses. These data, along with others provided by different aircraft areas, included coefficients of lift, drag, among other parameters. Through detailed calculations, a comprehensive analysis of the aircraft's performance was conducted in different flight phases, from takeoff to landing, always in compliance with FAR-Part 23 regulations. The motor selected for the project was the electric model D3542, while the chosen propeller had a diameter of 13 inches and a pitch of 7 inches. With these specifications defined, it was possible to evaluate the vehicle's performance to operate with a total weight of 12 kg. This analysis was essential to ensure efficient and safe flight operations, contributing to the continuous advancement of aviation and aerospace technology.Item Aumento da confiabilidade na produção pela implementação de planos de manutenção preventiva(2023-05-04) Silva, Deiverson José da; Simões, Thiago Araujo; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7903824177570749; https://lattes.cnpq.br/4121093660977324The lack of functional preventive maintenance in the production line of any factory entails several corrective maintenances, thus impacting performance, cost and productivity indicators. This work will address the use of the PDCA cycle as a methodology, as well as the 5W1H to identify the phenomenon and the 5 whys to find the root cause of the problem, respectively. Based on this, preventive maintenance plans for production lines were implemented in the “Manusis” asset management system. The system automatically generates the OM's (maintenance orders) for the maintainers to carry out the scheduled activities. In this way, it verified an efficiency in the performance of the production line due to the improvement of 32.78% in corrective maintenance, in addition to having obtained an average improvement of 3.58% in the MTBF (mean time between failures) and an average reduction of 3.59% in MTTR (mean time to repair).Item Planejamento da implantação do Sistema de gestão de energia (SGE) de acordo à norma ABNT NBR ISO 50001 em unidade cloroquímica(2023-09-06) Silva, Mateus de França; González, Felipe Orlando Centeno; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9688427609049172; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6841063753814264The increase in world energy consumption and policies to reduce carbon emissions and greenhouse gases bring to the fore a concern with the more efficient and more conscious use of energy. Therefore, many companies seek to avoid waste by reusing the energy of their processes and tools to achieve these goals. In this context, the present work presents a case study for a chlorochemical plant for the implementation of an energy management system following the ABNT ISO 50001 STANDARD, which will be achieved by planning. A scope statement, energy policy, energy review and action plans are made for each of the equipment that has a significant use of energy.
