Item Proposta de um sistema de produção de leite com dietas à base de palma forrageira(2023-09-11) Melo, Gabriela Correia da Silva; Ferreira, Marcelo de Andrade; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4818123702136736Agreste de Pernambuco is home to the state's main dairy basin, accounting for approximately 75% of production. Due to the edaphoclimatic characteristics of the region (Semi-arid), characterized by low rainfall and high temperatures, challenges related to forage production must be faced in order to sustain dairy production systems in the region. Thus, the implementation of high-yielding roughage can be achieved through appropriate agricultural practices, the use of technologies, the selection of varieties adapted to the region's climate and the adoption of good management practices. In this way, fodder palm has been a valuable option for livestock farming in the Agreste region of Pernambuco, contributing to animal food security during periods of drought and offering a sustainable alternative for feeding livestock in the semi-arid region. The aim was to develop a milk production system with palm-based diets, based on the identification in the literature of the main reference indicators to be improved in order to increase the sustainability of dairy farming in Pernambuco. After identifying them and based on zootechnical indices considered achievable, a stabilized herd was idealized and diets based on fodder palm were calculated to meet the needs of this herd. Subsequently, the reference indices were recalculated and showed a significant improvement, indicating that palm can be an extremely important strategy for daisy fanning in the state.Item Avaliação do perfil de ingredientes em rações de papagaio-verdadeiro (Amazona aestiva) comercializadas na Região Metropolitana do Recife(2023-04-28) Carvalho, Edneide Mayara de Lima; Nascimento, Júlio Cézar dos Santos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4343017315156292; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8070590961801150Interest in keeping birds as pets increases every year. This raises the concern about food sources for these animals, always aiming at balanced diets. It is known that each species has its nutritional requirements for the proper functioning of its organism and for that it is necessary to guarantee a balanced diet according to the requirements that may vary according to the environment that this animal is inserted. This work aimed to analyze the ingredient profile and bromatological components in diets of true parrot – (Amazona aestiva) commercialized in the Metropolitan Region of Recife. The analyzes were carried out in the zootechnics department of the Federal Rural University of Pernambuco, in the animal nutrition laboratory, where five rations were used and a 100-gram sample was weighed from each ration, where the profile of the ingredients was made through manual selection, subsequently, quartering was carried out with the aim of homogenizing the sample, and then grinding in a 2mm sieve, after crushed, the samples were used to carry out the analysis of dry matter and moisture, mineral matter and crude protein. The mean values were submitted to the normality test, using the SAS system program, and for homogeneity analysis Barllet's and Levene's tests were used, and in order to compare the means of the results obtained, the Tukey test was used, where all parameters (DM, UM, MM and CP) showed a significant difference (p<0.05) when comparing the averages of the packages, which can be attributed to economic factors, such as storage issues of these feeds, which can lead to nutritional losses. For analysis of distribution between the evaluated rations, the Kruskal-Wallis where there was no significant difference between the rations (p=0.4041). Analyzing the ingredients individually, the occurrence of sunflower and corn seeds was observed in all packages, which may be related to the availability of ingredients in the region and the cost of these products.Item Avaliação do perfil de ingredientes em rações de psitaciformes de pequeno porte comercializadas na Região Metropolitana do Recife(2022-10-14) Queiroz, Rafael Cavalcanti de; Nascimento, Júlio Cézar dos Santos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4343017315156292; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6627330167230365The bird food industry has been growing and diversifying over the years in order to seek better nutritional quality, animal welfare and the satisfaction of pet owners. There are a variety of food for birds that differ according to their type and species, and also according to the nutritional levels and quality of the raw material, such as rations from more economical values to higher values, considered premium. This work aimed to survey the calculated and analyzed composition of rations of small parrots sold in the Metropolitan Region of Recife. Eight types of diets for small parrots were analyzed, being sold in closed packages with an average weight of 500 grams. Percentage of each ration was evaluated through manual separation of its constituents. Subsequently, quartering was carried out in order to homogenize the sample, and then grinding in a 2mm sieve. And then already crushed, they were used to perform the analysis of crude protein, mineral matter, dry matter and moisture. To analyze the significance of the values, the SAS statistical program was used, which uses several normality tests and for the homogeneity test, the Barllet's and Levene's tests were used to compare the means. In the analysis of the composition of the feed, it was not possible to observe a significant difference (P=0.985) comparing the different types of ingredients with each other. In the analysis of dry matter and moisture, the values obtained did not show a significant difference (p>0.05) in relation to the value shown on the packaging. And for the statistical test of crude protein (p=0.0007) and mineral matter (p=0.0004) there was a significant difference, thus presenting a divergence in relation to the nutritional composition of the different rations compared to what was specified on the packages, which may have a relationship with the price as protein is the second most expensive ingredient in the diet, and its levels may have been lowered to reduce costs. And the mineral matter that also has its value and importance in the feeding of birds, having its levels below those informed in the composition.Item Palma forrageira, o alimento mais importante para vacas leiteiras no semiárido pernambucano: manual prático(2022-10-06) Souza, José Felipe Borges de; Ferreira, Marcelo de Andrade; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4818123702136736; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4011173965144301The dairy basin of Pernambuco is distributed throughout its territory, however with a larger concentration in the Agreste region. Evaluations of production systems in this region indicate that milk production becomes efficient over the years, can improve several aspects, among them one of the most important would be the increase in land productivity. This would only be possible, mainly due to the size of the properties, with the implementation of forages with high productivity. In this context, forage palm became a key strategic forage due to its production potential and nutritional value. The objective was to develop a practical manual for the use of forage palm in the diet of dairy cows and to offer the field technician and the producer a material with options to associate it with a range of ingredients normally used in the most practical way possible. From there, 48 diets were formulated, based on forage palm, for cows with different weights (400, 450, 500, 550, and 600 kg) also different milk yields (10, 15, 20, 25, and 30 kg of milk/day). Data were presented on a dry matter basis. It is expected that the material produced can reach the hands of technicians and producers to guide them in choosing the best options according to the characteristics of the production system, availability, and price of ingredients.Item Efeito da inclusão de farinha de minhoca com e sem zeólita natural na dieta de tilápia (Oreochromis niloticus) sobre os parâmetros de carcaça(2022-10-07) Oliveira, Elton Francisco de; Ludke, Maria do Carmo Mohaupt Marques; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4629657233206289; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3930176884309812The purpose of this research is to evaluate the effect of the addition of earthworm flour and the inclusion of zeolite (clinoptilolite) on carcass composition parameters. In the experiment, 280 tilapia of the species Oreocrhomis niloticus were used, with an initial and final weight of 2.826±0.0896g and 13.59±0.75g, respectively. The treatments were 8 diets corresponding to a 4 x 2 factorial arrangement, with 4 levels of inclusion of earthworm flour (0, 3.5; 7.0 and 10.5%) and levels of 0 and 2% of zeolite (Clinoptilolite ), the fish were distributed in a randomized block design with 5 replications. The following parameters were evaluated: carcass yield (RC), carcass dry matter (MSC); carcass organic matter (MOC); Mineral Substrate Matter (MMC); carcass energy based on dry matter (EMSC); ethereal substrate extract (EEC); energy retention coefficient (CRE); crude carcass protein (CBP); RE= Energy retention coefficient; CRP= Protein retention coefficient; TEP= Protein Efficiency Rate; IHE= Hepatosomatic Index; IVS= Viscerosomatic Index; At the end of the experiment (85 days) the animals were stunned with eugenol and then sacrificed and frozen, later they were lyophilized for analysis. The data were submitted to analysis of variance, in order to observe the main effects and the interaction between the factors (Worm meal levels and Zeolite inclusion) on the composition and protein and energy retention in the fish body. All analyzes were performed using the GLM procedure of the SAS computational package, at a 5.0% significance level. According to the data, there was a significant reduction in the amount of lipdis (p=0.0208) and in the energy retention coefficient (CRE) (p=0.0376) in the carcass of these animals when adding Zeolite in the diets. As for earthworm meal, a significant effect (p=0.0500) on CRE was observed, where when performing the regression there was a linear increase (P=0.0188) when including this ingredient in the diets of these fish. With this, we can add up to 10.5% of earthworm meal in diets for Tilapia, however Zeolite reduced energy efficiency, not interfering with other carcassItem Efeito da adição de zeólita natural (Clinoptilolita) em dietas sobre os parâmetros sanguíneos de poedeiras(2022-10-07) Santos, Adrielle Carneiro de Araújo; Ludke, Maria do Carmo Mohaupt Marques; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4629657233206289; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5809137471735648The objective of this work is to evaluate the effect of the addition of natural zeolite (Clinoptilolite) in diets on the serum and hematological biochemical profile of laying hens. The treatments consisted of six levels of zeolite inclusion, 0, 0.7; 1.4; 2.1; 2.8; 3.5%, where all diets were isoenergetic and isoproteic, differing only the replacement of an inert material (washed sand) by the zeolite additive. The design was in randomized blocks, with 8 replications and 5 birds per plot, totaling 240 ISA-Brown laying hens from the 54th week with approximate weight of 1.75 kg. To perform the hematological analysis, 1 bird per plot was used and 4ml blood samples were collected from the ulnar vein of one of the wings. The hematological variables were: red blood cells, hemoglobin, platelets, leukocytes, total plasma proteins, heterophils, lymphocytes, eosinophils and monocytes. To evaluate the biochemical parameters, samples of 4ml of blood each were collected from 2 birds per plot and submitted to analysis of total proteins, albumin, calcium, creatinine, urate/uric acid, urea, alkaline phosphatase (ALP), aspartate aminotransferase (AST), alanine aminotransferase (ALT), gamma glutamyl transferase (GGT). Data were submitted to analysis of variance, and if significant, regression analysis and Dunnet's test at 5% probability were performed. No significant effect was observed for the biochemical parameters. As for the hematological variables, an effect of zeolite on total lymphocytes was observed (p=0.0006). When the regression analysis was performed, a quadratic effect was found (p=0.0035). When applying Dunnet's test, it was found that the absolute value of lymphocytes differed as a function of natural zeolite (Clinoptilolite) in relation to the control diet at the level of 3.5% inclusion. With this, it is concluded that clinoptilolite can be used in the feeding of laying birds at the level of 3.5% of inclusion, providing a greater amount of lymphocytes, stimulating the production of antibodies and improving immunity.Item Relatório de Estágio Supervisionado Obrigatório realizado na Granja Avimalta(2023-09-08) Siqueira, Monique Aguiar; Rabello, Carlos Bôa Viagem; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4760288746238700; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3658833045052053Item Relatório de Estágio Supervisionado Obrigatório(2023-09-05) Souza, José Felipe Borges de; Souza, Darclet Teresinha Malerbo de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3266223126925865; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4011173965144301Item Relatório de Estágio Supervisionado Obrigatório(2023-04-17) Souza, José Tiago Martins de; Manso, Helena Emília Cavalcanti da Costa Cordeiro; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7040279344981888; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3715102357431967Item Relatório de Estágio Supervisionado Obrigatório(2023-04-14) Barros, Tatiane Amaral de; Souza, Lilian Francisco Arantes de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6015344715032401; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6999911364398368
