The present work aims to address in a historical way how public policies directed to public health in Brazil have been modified over time and how is the relationship of production and valuation of knowledge between the Brazilian State, Pharmaceutical Industry in the country and the Muribeca Alternative Health Center (CESAM). Thismaterial raises the issue of the difficulties that research in the country faces in obtaining investments for the development of herbal medicines, as well as forobtaining their patents. Factors that play a fundamental role, aiming at thest rengthening and development of health biotechnology in the country, but which suffer from a lack of investments for its expansion and consolidation, which can bereverted to direct benefits to the Brazilian population, directly impacting national sovereignty. Given the situations exposed in the present work, the relationship and role that the Brazilian State and its various agents have and fulfill, in this sense, in our society, within the framework of capitalism, where the non valorization of traditional and popular knowledge is perpetuated in To the detriment of a total political, financial and technological dependence on the large pharmaceutical multinationals, the medicines and the various therapeutic forms continue to betreated as merchandise and little accessible to the Brazilian population.

(2019) Garcia, Danielly da Silva; Regino, Fabiane Alves; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3088176522044224
This monograph presents the health field as an important space for professional work for the Home Economy, especially in the struggle for quality of life through public policies. The approach of this paper is about the State Health Council of Pernambuco, seeking to analyze the demands of the various social actors that participate as a collective representation in this Council and to present the main deliberations and / or actions reached through the social health policies. For this, a qualitative study was conducted through documentary research, which analyzed the minutes of the meetings of the CES / PE in 2017. From this universe, three of the policies that most came up in the Council meetings were selected, in order to investigate data related to the period mentioned and to understand the popular participation in CES / PE, demands, deliberations and actions. It is concluded in this work that the National Policy for Occupational Health, the National Policy for Men's Health and the National Policy for Oral Health, were the policies that most entered the agenda of Council meetings. This means that these policies are central health issues, which may compose the elaboration of the State Health Plan. Thus, these policies presented more demands and in cases of these being met is the result of the strengthening of popular participation, through their advisory representatives. It is understood that social participation through Councils means to participate collectively in the management of the Unified Health System, and the greater the organization and social participation of diverse actors in deliberative instances, the greater the strengthening of democracy and the guarantee of citizenship.

It was found that the NIP’s actions, like vaccination, are freely available at the FHU and facilitated educational actions and health promotions. The profile of the FHS team is in accordance with the norms of the Ministry of Health that demands integrality in health care. Evidence was found that certain aspects compromised the integrality of health care due to a lack of communication between the different structures and units within the health care system. On the other hand, the form of professional performance and the organization of services as the main practices of the FHS stood out, especially in the case of human care and the quality of care within the population in regard to consultations and vaccinations.
