Item Adequação de uma prensa hidráulica de sucatas à norma regulamentadora NR-12(2023-05-02) Lucena, Romário Ferreira; Macêdo, Ana Vitória de Almeida; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1157321507564630Accidents at work with equipment and machines usually happen due to human error. Several times as a result of the lack of qualification and training of the workers, compliance with standard procedures, as well as the non-use or incorrect use of personal protective equipment and, mainly, the absence of protections and safety systems for machines and equipment. In view of this, NR12 establishes, among several factors, the requirement that companies guarantee employee safety during the development of their work. However, only the NR-12 cannot guarantee the specific safety of all machines, with that there are standards such as NR-9 and NR-1 that talk about the issue of analyzing the risk of the equipment or machine. The objective of this work is to present a Proposal for the adaptation of a hydraulic combustion press in accordance with the requirements established by NR12, and complemented by NR-9 and NR- 1 in order to guarantee a more specific safety of this machine that is located in an Industry Metallic Warehouse in Jaboatão dos Guararapes.Item Análise de índices de qualidade da energia elétrica considerando uma planta de geração eólica localizada no norte da Bahia(2022-05-27) Paiva, Jefferson; Alves, Denis Keuton; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7109075850257262; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2113363156474260This study proposes a comparative assessment of the leading indicators of power quality measured in a wind farm located in the north of the state of Bahia. The integration of wind farms in the electric power system presents challenges related to the power quality, whose indicators must follow the standards defined as desirable. This fact highlights the importance of monitoring electrical power quality indicators, emphasizing phenomena, parameters, and reference values regarding steady-state voltage, power factor, harmonic distortion, voltage imbalance, voltage fluctuation, short duration, and frequency variation. The power quality indicators were evaluated according to the limits defined in Brazilian standards: Procedimentos de Distribuição de Energia Elétrica no Sistema Elétrico Nacional, established by the Agência Nacional de Energia Elétrica, through normative resolution No. 956/2021; Procedimentos de Rede, prepared by the Operador Nacional do Sistema Elétrico, through normative resolution No. 903/2020. The measurement of electrical quantities was performed using a PowerLogic® energy analyzer, model ION7650, manufactured by Schneider Electric, which is also responsible for measuring the plant's electricity production billing. The analysis of the quality of electric energy is carried out in the generation bus of the enterprise's substat. The recorded values of the measured electrical quantities were satisfactory for presenting a diagnosis capable of evidencing problems related to the power quality.Item Análise de qualidade de energia, gestão de modalidade tarifária e sugestão de melhorias em uma unidade rural de média tensão(2022-09-29) Albuquerque, Eduardo Monteiro de; Macêdo, Ana Vitória de Almeida; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1157321507564630; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4268219318610805The electrical energy has correlated countless quantities making it have the electrical power system in full working order. Distributed Generation (DG) and Intelligent Electric Networks, or Smart Grids. In this context, the main objective of the present work is the study and evaluation of the protection systems of energy distribution networks against the impacts of the connection and disconnection of distributed generators. Aiming at the development of the research, initially, a theoretical study was carried out to base the functioning and basic requirements of the protection systems. In addition, a study was carried out on distributed generation addressing the impacts caused by its connection to the grid, such as bidirectional power flow, overvoltage, level of voltage imbalance, etc. Together, the study and modeling of photovoltaic solar generation as a source of DG were carried out, in which real data from a photovoltaic module were used to validate all modeling. Still in the methodology, aiming to carry out simulations to analyze the behavior of the protection system against faults and the operating parameters of the distribution network after the insertion of distributed generation, the IEEE 13-bar test feeder and a timed overcurrent protection system was modeled in the SIMULINK/MATLAB® environment. Next, simulations of several test scenarios were carried out with variation in DG allocation with different power levels, in addition to the application of faults at different points in the network. Subsequently, possible strategies for improving network protection were addressed, addressing issues such as changes in the DG power factor, aiming to avoid overvoltages in the system, and the use of intelligent devices for a more assertive performance of the relays. Finally, it could be concluded that the work was successful in the research and studies proposed about the impacts on the protection system in distribution networks caused by the insertion of distributed generation, since, in 38.71% of the simulations, there was action of the protection equipment for the reverse fault.Item Análise e controle de distorções harmônicas utilizando modelagem com filtros passivos(2024-03-11) Santos, Fernanda Maria Vanderlei; Alves, Denis Keuton; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7109075850257262; https://lattes.cnpq.br/1585511995867132With the evolution of power electronics for the control and optimization of industrial flows and processes, challenges related to the quality of electrical energy have become more prominent, especially harmonic distortion. Therefore, understanding the main causes, impacts, and fundamental mitigation strategies becomes crucial to ensure that an electrical system operates with maximum quality and efficiency. In industrial environments, where frequency inverters are used for motor control and nonlinear rectifiers are employed to convert alternating current into direct current to power a variety of electronic devices, the presence of distorted content in current and voltage signals has become increasingly common. These distortions can result in problems such as overheating of transformers and cables, failures in sensitive electronic equipment, among other disturbances. Thus, this work proposes a theoretical and simulated study on harmonic distortions present in a load with a three- phase rectifier, with a focus on the application of a passive shunt filter to attenuate the harmonic content of the system. The use of passive filters offers a significant cost-benefit ratio, as the investment required for their implementation is relatively low compared to other approaches. Additionally, these filters have the ability to select and eliminate specific harmonics, which were previously calculated in the design phase. With the completion of this study, the aim is to achieve a system with controlled harmonic indices, thus validating the effectiveness of the methodology under analysis.Item Análise sobre estudos feitos para redução de quebras de maquinário com base na Revisão de Planos de Manutenção dentro de uma indústria de alimentos(2023-09-19) Rangel, Maria Gabriela Souza; Moura, Alexandre Douglas Araújo de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3602476790054326; https://lattes.cnpq.br/3226448805693305This study aims to present the importance of loss prevention in the industry through the analysis of maintenance plans and literature review. The software used to perform the calculation, ANAREDE®, will also be presented, with emphasis on its automatic transmission margin calculation tool. Finally, the results from the software calculations are presented, exposed through tables containing the values of the transmission margins and their limiting factors.Item Caracterização de uma família de ressonadores planares: estruturas circulares autossimilares para aplicação de circuitos de micro-ondas(2022-10-14) Bernardo, Helton Silva; Oliveira, Elias Marques Ferreira de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2576044894885888; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0376996218317422The present work aims to develop and structure a family of circular and self-similar resonator devices based on modeling by microstrip technique with planar structures to determine resonances and frequency bands, allowing to identify and locate the structuresthat resonate. The methodology behind thisstudy is described in two parts: In the computational elaboration procedure (structuring and parameterization) and the simulation in different aspects. Mathematical modeling of the family of resonator devices was carried out, the parameters of wavelength and radii of the central and adjacent resonator rings were calculated, as well as the boundary conditions for the family of resonators in a computational environment. The structures that showed adequate resonance levels were characterized by band-stop filters through the scattering parameters. The construction of the characteristic filters took place by configuring the parallel of electrical network topologies (low-pass and/or high-pass) with similar responses. The main and adjacent rings were repaired to analyze the maximum transmission and maximum resonance. This study also analyzed the surface current distributions for structures that presented different behavior in relation to their resonances. In this way, the results show: resonance in different frequency bands, tuning of parameters for maximum resonance by reparametrization and the dynamics of surface currents in the resonator rings.Item Construção de sistema de travamento de frequência para laser de diodo(2021-12-10) Castelo Branco, Lucas Martins; Degiorgi, Sérgio Vladimir Barreiro; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7323495611053601; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1886333851347024The diode laser, currently, has been the most used type of laser in several areas due to its low cost of operation and especially the ease in the control process and wavelength of its service. To operate it, it needs a good stabilization in its frequency, which is important not only for measurements that require high spectral resolution, but also for several research applications. For frequency stabilization of a diode laser, an automatic frequency control loop can be used. An error signal generated by the laser frequency change must be processed (amplified and filtered) and must be fed back in order to compensate for the fluctuation in frequency. The present study aims to build a circuit for frequency locking of an absolute frequency diode laser, using a synchronized detection. To lock the laser frequency, a frequency discriminator is used as a reference which will have an equally resonant transfer function. In order to be able to lock the laser frequency to the frequency of the discriminator method used, which makes it possible to generate a derivation of the transfer function of the discriminator. This method consists of simplifying a step much in the frequency of the laser to the laser light, separating it only with a small modular step, which is being broken down into at least modulation.Item Controle vetorial de velocidade em motor de indução trifásico para aplicações em mobilidade elétrica(2024-03-08) Souza, Guilherme Henrique de Carvalho; Méllo, João Paulo Ramos Agra; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2430890141645755; https://lattes.cnpq.br/6351499728705848The replacement of combustion engines with electric motors is already a reality in Brazil. Hybrid and electric vehicles are gaining more market share every day. This is due to their high efficiency, low cost and, above all, the fact that they do not emit polluting gases into the environment. The study of induction motors for vehicle traction has become a challenge for researchers, who are looking for methods and strategies to maximize their market entry. Speed control of electric motors can be carried out in various ways, such as changing the number of poles, vector control, changing the frequency and supply voltage. Vector control is based on the odq variable transform, which is a good representation of the three-phase induction machine in the vector domain. Through this control, it is possible to decouple the machine's conjugate and magnetic flux, allowing each of them to be explored in isolation. The aim of this work is therefore to develop a closed-loop quadrature vector control system for the electric motor used in the Evolt Racing extension project. This study begins by validating the machine model and the open-loop controls, and then closing the control loop. Finally, the motor is driven via PWM inverter and the braking profiles and methods are compared. The simulations were carried out using PSIM and MATLAB software, and the controllers were tuned using the geometric root locus method. It was possible to validate the machine model, tune the controllers to improve the dynamic response and control the motor speed for the permanent regime.Item Controle vetorial em quadratura de velocidade em motores de indução trifásicos para aplicações em controle de vazão de ar em ventiladores industriais(2022-10-05) Santos, Nailson Figueiredo dos; Méllo, João Paulo Ramos Agra; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2430890141645755; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2668760030520733Air flow control through of fans can be applied in various areas, from industry, in combustion or air renewal processes, to commercial and residential air conditioning systems. The fans responsible for airflow control are equipment whose driving force is provided by the coupling of electric induction motors on their blades, and the flow control is directly related to the motor speed control, according to the first law of fans. There are some ways to control the speed of induction motors: change in the number of poles, variation of the supply frequency, or with vector control techniques, which have good dynamic performance and efficiency. The so called vectorial techniques provide a decoupling between the magnetic flux and conjugate, enabling the independent control of these quantities, but requiring a well established dynamic model of the motor, so that it is possible to perform the tuning of the control loops. Based on this, and considering the importance of a reliable flow control, this paper aims to design a quadrature vector control system with the stator flux in closed loop, by obtaining a dynamic model of an induction motor applied to a load that simulates a fan, from an analytical methodology for obtaining the parameters of the motor model. The tests and simulations, as well as the controllers tuning were developed with PSIM and MatLab software, where results were obtained that proved the validity of the model development methodology and the controllers tuning, as well as the speed control in permanent regime foreseen.Item Desafios e impasses para consolidação da geração eólica offshore na Matriz Energética Brasileira(2023-05-02) Lima, Polliany Alves de; Alves, Denis Keuton; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7109075850257262; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1066593549053161The increase in energy demand and its environmental concerns have increased the search for alternative energy sources. In Brazil, onshore wind generation is already consolidated and has proven efficient to complement the energy supply, especially in dry periods, when hydroelectric reservoir levels are low. Once the potential of the onshore wind resource has been exploited, environmetal agencies along with the brazilian energy sector must come together to better investigate the brazilian marine wind potential. Although it has been proven that the potential of offshore wind power generation is higher than that presented in onshore wind generation, Brazil does not yet have any wind projects installed in the marine environment. Thus, this work seeks to unravel the main chellenges and impasses that the brazilian offshore wind generation will have to face to install the first turbines at the sea. For this end goal, the areas with the greatest potential for offshore wind power generation will be indentified, the main structures that make up wind farms in marine environment, the impacts linked to offshore technology and how european countries have managed to circumvent the obstacles shall be used as current references in offshore wind generation.Item Desenvolvimento de Estudo de Proteção para Conexão de uma Usina fotovoltaica de 1.194kWp(2023-09-21) Oliveira, Maria Eduarda Araújo de; Alves, Denis Keuton; Ando Júnior, Oswaldo Hideo; https://lattes.cnpq.br/7109075850257262; https://lattes.cnpq.br/8911684468319565The generation of photovoltaic energy presents a different profile from the generation of conventional energy (hydroelectric). This is due to the characteristics inherent to the photovoltaic generation process, such as intermittent generation, in which fluctuations in energy generation occur, adding greater complexity to the protection system. Therefore, this work analyzes current regulations and recommendations for preparing a study on the protection and selectivity of photovoltaic generators. This work used a real case study with a 1MW generator connected to the local utility through a coupling transformer and inverters. The protections and adjustments were selected to assess the reliability of the proposed generator and ensure connection to the distribution network with the minimum quality parameters required by regulations. From the results obtained, it was verified through graphic analysis of the coordination that the method used was effective in the protection and selectivity study, attending to current regulations.Item Desenvolvimento de um procedimento para testes e análises de proteção em IED SEL-751A com auxílio da maleta de testes CE-6710 em ambiente industrial(2024-06-07) Lima Júnior, Valdomiro Ferreira de; Araújo, Marcel Ayres deTechnological development has played a crucial role in the transformation of the Electrical Power System (SEP) and, consequently, in the industry, improving protection devices to ensure greater continuity and reliability for the supply of electrical energy to consumers. Intelligent Electronic Devices (IEDs) stand out as fundamental pieces in the protection of electrical systems from energy projections, as well as in substations and industrial plant installations, promoting automation and real-time monitoring, and offering functions from protection shifting to operational integrity. Considering the increasing complexity of electrical systems in industry, the implementation of robust procedures becomes necessary to maintain their integrity and the continuity of their processes, in addition to contributing to operational efficiency. Thus, the objective of this study is to contribute to the development of a protection testing procedure and parameter settings for IEDs used in the scope of applications for an industrial plant based on the IED SEL-751A, thus enabling an increase in reliability of the electrical systems, investigative analysis of possible operational problems of the device, and guarantee of operational safety, directly reflecting on productivity and industrial performance. In animal experiments, electrophysiological signals are obtained using chemical (drug) or mechanical (container) containment methods, which produce artifacts in the signal of interest. A solution to avoid the inconvenience produced by these procedures is the use of wireless capture systems attached to the vest. Despite the existence of equipment with this technology, the reality of research laboratories comes up against the high cost of acquiring this equipment and the relative difficulty of the size of the vests, which are produced for dogs and cats, given that they are aimed at the medical clinic. small animal veterinarian. This manuscript presents the results obtained in the development of a software prototype for a graphical interface of an unwired system for recording the electrocardiogram of Wistar rats. To analyze these results, the data obtained were compared with those captured through a wired system using commercial software. For this, the detrended fluctuation analysis (DFA) of the referred data was used, where no statistically significant differences were observed between the mean valuesobtained between the systems. Taking into account the initial results, it indicates that it is viable for improvement and future use in the experimental routine with Wistar rats, seeking to improve the quality of the data and better comfort for the experimental model.Item Desenvolvimento de um supervisório em sistemas HVAC responsáveis pelo tratamento de ar em estabelecimentos assistenciais de saúde (EAS)(2022-10-06) Silva, Maria Eduarda Albuquerque; Medeiros, Philippe Eduardo de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5594617038786753; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2519022547136872HVAC Systems (Heating, Ventilating and Air Conditioning) have numerous instruments to measure and control system variables. The waveform is a very important component in telecommunications technologies, as they can modify the characteristics of the signal to be transmitted in the most convenient way for a given requirement. To perform the comparative analysis between the waveforms, the power spectral density vs normalized frequency and bit error rate vs signal-to-noise ratio graphs for different scenarios were simulated with the MATLAB software, such as: insertion of error variance in the channel estimation, changing the type of channel and the number of FFT elements. With these results, it is possible to see the advantage of FBMC in relation to the use of spectrum, as well as the problem of the greater complexity of the equalization system of this waveform when compared to that used in OFDM.Item Estudo de métodos para o dimensionamento do sistema de armazenamento de energia de um veículo elétrico tipo fórmula(2024-03-05) Alves, Adriany Fabrícia Silva; Araújo, Marcel Ayres de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0669410110930611; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3796261196279460Faced with the need to reduce carbon dioxide emissions and increasingly reduce the fleet of gasoline vehicles, among other petroleum derivatives, in an attempt to mitigate the damage caused by pollution to the environment, the implementation of Electric Vehicles (EVs). They are a general concept of means of transport that takes advantage of the electric motor as the traction actuator, and one of the main types of EVs are those that use batteries as an energy storage system, also known as BEVs (Battery Electric Vehicles). BEVs are considered a solution that has the potential to mitigate greenhouse gas emissions and reduce the use of oil in the transport sector, avoiding energy crises. EVs present a technological evolution of transforming electrical energy into movement, which consequently has increased interest in electric propulsion for automobiles in recent years.
