Item Uso da eletroquimioterapia no tratamento da pododermatite plasmocítica felina - Relato de caso(2022-10-06) Arruda, Cinthia Lilian de; Rolim, Maria Betânia de Queiroz; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5676854885081836The first chapter of this work presents the main activities developed and the case-by-case assessment of the animal afflictions during the Mandatory Supervised Internship (MSI), from the veterinary medicine course, area of Small Animals Medical Clinical Practice, at Pet Dream Veterinarian Hospital. The MSI took place from June 27 to September 8, 2022, with a total workload of 420 hours. Among the activities, we highlight the clinical care follow-ups and the feline and canine urgencies and emergencies. In the second chapter, the case report was described as “Use of electrochemotherapy in the treatment of feline plasmacytic pododermatities.” In the MSI, it was possible to practice the contents discussed and shared throughout the course of veterinary medicine at UFRPE and to undergo daily experiences in the care and respect of the animals treated, as well as their tutors.Item Frequência de dermatopatias caninas e felinas atendidos no setor de dermatologia veterinária no HOVET-UFRPE durante o Estágio Supervisionado Obrigatório(2019) Menezes, Greyce Pereira dos Santos; Rolim, Maria Betânia de Queiroz; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5676854885081836The Obligatory Supervised Internship (ESO) was carried out at the Veterinary Hospital of the Federal Rural University of Pernambuco (HOVET - UFRPE), located in Recife / PE, in the area of Veterinary Medical Clinic of Small Animals, from March 12 to May 27 of 2019, under the direction of Prof. Dr. Maria Betânia de Queiroz Rolim, totaling 420 hours. During this period, visits to the small animal medical clinic (CMPA) and veterinary dermatology were followed. The objective of this report was to describe the infrastructure, the operation and the activities performed at the internship site, to expose the casuistry followed in the care of the CMPA and the veterinary dermatology, as well as to report the frequency of canine and feline dermatopathies treated in the dermatology sector in HOVET-UFRPE during the obligatory supervised internship. A total of 660 cases were attended, of which 517 general and 143 dermatological cases. The most frequent dermatopathies were allergic dermatitis 44,05%, with allergic dermatitis to ectoparasite bite (ADEB) 55,55%, atopic dermatitis (AD) 34,92% and food hypersensitivity (FH) 9,52%, followed by bacterial dermatopathies 20,27% and parasitic 16,78%.
