Item Extensão universitária: integração acadêmica e social através de ações interdisciplinares das ciências agrárias(2018-12-04) Silva, Daniel Dias da; Marinho, Ana Virgínia; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8207812492517198; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4967459162060058Over the years, rural communities, especially settlements, are synonymous with the struggle and conquest of the land, but with the conquest it also comes to the uncertainties regarding the new perspectives of production, income, housing, working conditions and quality of life. Considering the extension as the interdisciplinary, educational, cultural, scientific and political process that promotes the transformative interaction between the university and other sectors of society, this Course Conclusion Paper presented a "case study" experienced during the period from 2013 to 2017, through activities of University Extension. The activities were developed in settlements of agrarian reform in Zona da Mata Pernambucana. From the interdisciplinary model, educational, preventive and curative actions were carried out through pedagogical practices for the integration of several fragmented knowledge of the agrarian sciences, health and education, in the construction of mutual knowledge (educator - educator, educator - educator). Interdisciplinary pedagogical interventions, used and supported by the indissociable principle Teaching, Research and Extension, contributed to the construction of knowledge and the improvement of the technical-scientific production of the multidisciplinary team. We conclude that the University-Community interaction, together with the construction of theoretical-practical knowledge among all involved and the interventions elaborated in the settlements, provided differentiated formations of professionals with a more holistic, sensitive and committed view of social promotion and development of citizen awareness, which suggests the continuity of the project, in the face of new research and perspectives.
