Item Informalidade nos trilhos: jovens trabalhadores no metrô do Recife(2019) Carneiro Junior, Risael Sybalde; Brito, Paulo Afonso Barbosa; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0891943804378064This monograph starts from the observation that the world of work is structuring of social relations in human societies, therefore, the category of work is important for sociology in its effort to explain social phenomena. During the twentieth century profound changes marked the world of work, we deal specifically with informal work among young people, highlighting the reasons that lead young people to this type of work and raising the hypothesis that they belong to low income, needing complementary sources for family support, while seeking a professional qualification for a more stable job. As a central objective, we define by investigating the causes that lead young people to submit to informal work, which is highly precarious in the Recife subway. The methodological approach was based on qualitative research, through individual semi-structured interviews and field observations, as theoretical references from the founders of sociology to the contemporary authors of the sociology of work, with emphasis on Brazilians Ricardo Antunes and Giovanni Alves, and for youth studies, we focus on Helena Abramo. In conclusion, we demonstrate how the hypothesis was confirmed, however, that the concept and condition of "low income" is insufficient to characterize the daily dynamics and life expectancy of young informal workers.Item O papel da educação financeira para a juventude: estratégias de construção de uma relação saudável com o dinheiro(2023-09-15) Souza, Thayná Valesca Ramos de; Oliveira, Isabel Cristina Pereira de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4745142041015422; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2071420323826118The objective of this work is to present the role of financial education for youth through a training program for high school students as a strategy to promote a healthy relationship with money. The research method used in the study was qualitative and exploratory. Bibliographic research was employed for data and information collection. In the conducted research, it was observed that the indebtedness of young people in Brazil is increasing, and financial education can help reduce this indicator. Furthermore, based on the evaluation of the pilot project on financial education for high school students, it yielded relatively better results when compared to the control groups. The research results conclude that financial education is a highly relevant topic for high school students and is indispensable in shaping young individuals who are conscious of everything related to the financial system. Therefore, it is evident that financial education taught to young people in schools provides the necessary information so that in the near future, they not only gain clarity and balance in managing their family budgets but also acquire knowledge that leads to financial independence.Item A educação física como componente curricular para os jovens em situação de privação de liberdade(2023-05-04) Silva, Erika Lídia dos Santos; Paiva, Andréa Carla de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1546386833032185; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8813141059872155This study aims to understand the right to Education and its insertion in the context of serving young people in situation of deprivation of liberty in the scenario of Physical Education classes. For this we take as reference the experience of a youth organization called Aiesec. In the theoretical field the work is based on the "Sociology of the Youth", as formulated by Karl Mannheim and later researchers. The main objective of the research is to demonstrate how and if Aiesec contributes to the practice of youthful protagonism through its discourse and actions. In order to understand and reflect on this matter, authors such as Antonio Carlos Gomes da Costa and Regina Magalhães Souza contributed to the debate of youth protagonism in contemporary times. The method adopted in this research was qualitative methodology, using semi-structured interviews and participant observation. As for the hypothesis, it was confirmed by the analysis of the data collected, so it was possible to find evidence that Aiesec provides and stimulates environments where youths can exercise their protagonist capacity, occupy spaces of decision and act as transforming agents in diverse spheres of society.
