The NIP actions are developed by the teams of the Family Health Strategy (FHS) in Basic Health Units (BHU); this is the beginning of care by Health Unit System (HUS). The FHS focuses on the positive health sector, restructuring, and taking care of the health process. The purpose of this research is to analyze the NIP’s actions by the FHS in Recife, Pernambuco State, Brazil. It will also evaluate the application, specifically on the administrative political region. The impact was analyzed from feedback received from health professionals in the region. The results were collected through exploratory and qualitative research methodologies, and they were analyzed using more than one technique. A case study was conducted at the Family Health Unit (FHU) by interviewing health professionals and reviewing related literature. Data analysis was performed using Content Analysis (MINAYO),synthesis techniquesand Condensation of Meaning (KVALE), were analyzed to answer data search qualitative and constructing expressions formulations from enterviews. It was found that the NIP’s actions, like vaccination, are freely available at the FHU and facilitated educational actions and health promotions. The profile of the FHS team is in accordance with the norms of the Ministry of Health that demands integrality in health care. Evidence was found that certain aspects compromised the integrality of health care due to a lack of communication between the different structures and units within the health care system. On the other hand, the form of professional performance and the organization of services as the main practices of the FHS stood out, especially in the case of human care and the quality of care within the population in regard to consultations and vaccinations.Item Percepção dos acadêmicos de medicina veterinária quanto à biossegurança nas aulas práticas(2019-01-18) Souza, Kássia Mirela Silva de; Brandespim, Daniel Friguglietti; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0279327020788151; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3710088191339445Academics in veterinary medicine are exposed to several types of risks in practical classes. The understanding of the risk to which a health professional is exposed starts at the undergraduate level, from the moment of contact with the risk and study environments. In this sense, this work aimed to evaluate the perception of the veterinary medicine students about biosafety in practical classes. This is a quantitative, descriptive and cross-sectional study carried out with veterinary academics from the Federal Rural University of Pernambuco (UFRPE) Recife campus, state of Pernambuco, Northeast Brazil. The data collection instrument was a semi-open questionnaire, and data collection was carried out in September 2018. 96 students from the 3rd to the 10th period participated in the study. Data from the questionnaires were analyzed using descriptive statistics and the Fisher Exact test. After analyzing the data, it was found that a large part of the students have the habit of re-capping needles (71.88%), a significant part does not always follow the laboratories biosafety norms (33.33%) and a significant percentage ( 42.71%) is not aware of all the risks that may be present in practical graduation activities. Regarding the occurrence of accidents, 20 (20.83%) reported having suffered one or more of one type of accidents in the practical classes, a large part of which was sharps (34.37%), a significant part (35%) was not using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at the time of the accident. In addition, there was a lack of standardization in the procedures performed after the accidents. Regarding biosafety education, 44.79% stated that they only receive "biosafety guidance" before the practical classes, 80.21% of the students believe that the number of practical classes is insufficient to face the occupational risks inherent to biosafety. profession of the veterinarian, 67.71% of the students believe it is necessary to include the biosafety discipline in the curriculum of the veterinary medicine course. This study found a significant association between the variable "inclusion of biosafety discipline" and "believes that it has sufficient knowledge about biosafety". Regarding the updating of the vaccination portfolio, a large part stated that they had not received information regarding the need to update the vaccination portfolio and only 34.38% were immunized against rabies, 69.79% against tetanus and 30.21% against fever Yellow. Given the results presented, there is a lack of training regarding biosafety and a need to update the immunization portfolio of the students. It is suggested to include the discipline biosafety in the curriculum of the course of veterinary medicine to promote greater knowledge regarding the subject under study. In addition, it is proposed that the coordination of the course of veterinary medicine of the Federal Rural University of Pernambuco, in partnership with the team of the National Immunization Program (PNI) of the Municipality of Recife, carry out a campaign to update the immunization portfolio of the academics.
