Its commercial fish farming activity plays a fundamental role in generating employment and income, also used as a subsistence activity promoting the growth and expansion of the fish trade, in addition to being a healthy and nutritious food that has quality protein sources. vitamins and a variety of nutrients. Therefore, the present work aims to analyze and verify the conditions and facilities of sanitary environments and the change in fish prices in supermarkets and public markets in the metropolitan region of Recife. In view of this, unscheduled visits were carried out in different locations, carried out between the months of October and January 2024, aiming to observe and investigate the hygienic conditions of the stored products. Twelve supermarkets were visited, plus the Boa Viagem public market and the drowned market. The public market had the worst sanitary conditions, and the fish sold there is essentially saltwater, with higher prices. Salmon is the most expensive fish, and overall this work points to an inflation scenario above IPCA forecasts.Item Análise pós-pandemia das condições de comercialização de crustáceos e moluscos em mercados públicos e supermercados na região metropolitana do Recife.(2024-02-28) Almeida, Carolina Carmo de; Porto Neto, Fernando de Figueiredo; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1475750525654086; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8206442086663744Molluscs and crustaceans are widely traded and consumed in the coastal region of Pernambuco, being part of the region's tourist profile as a gourmet tradition, generating income in a wide range of products in the metropolitan region of Recife. Taking these aspects into account, the present work addresses the conditions of infrastructure and commercialization of crustaceans and molluscs in some neighborhood supermarkets, markets and public fairs in the Metropolitan Region of Recife (RMR), in a post-pandemic scenario, and draws a comparison with some data from the pandemic period (COVID SARS 19). After collecting and analyzing data, a comparison was made of prices and installation conditions in places previously visited during the pandemic period. Visits were carried out to some establishments in the metropolitan region of Recife, to determine which were in adequate hygienic and sanitary conditions, in accordance with legislation, also observing the infrastructure, and also analyzing the price differences between the establishments visited. The research was carried out in 11 establishments, between October 2023 and January 2024, which coincides with the high tourist season in the region (summer). Regarding prices, it is clear that the prices of these types of fish have increased in relation to the pandemic period. There was also an expansion in the way they were offered, with emphasis on paella, which became more common in establishments. Regarding supply/refrigeration conditions, old defects still persist in the market, especially in public markets. It is safer to purchase these items in supermarkets.Item Dinheiro e cárcere: uma análise sobre a economia dentro dos presídios de Pernambuco(2024-03-08) Santos, João Gabriel Nascimento dos; Cavalcanti, Moisés Freitas Athayde; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9265526085292201The aim of this work is to structure the ways in which the economy is established within prison isolation, using the Northeast region as a central geographical point. The scientific importance is largely formulated by the very environment that is being studied. The prison is not a laboratory where variables can be controlled; they are part of the living organism that is society. Analyzing a limited environment such as this one from a technical and economic perspective can reveal the market and the relationships that exist within it in a completely different way. The research used the method of discourse analysis in academic papers, articles, official reports and newspapers, focusing exclusively on the daily life of prisons in the state of Pernambuco, extracting the passages that refer to economic concepts in order to build a map of the structure. During the collection of reports, it became clear that Pernambuco's prison population is a reflection of the institutional prejudice that surrounds society. The accounts show that the modus operandi of the prison economy is exactly the same as that of the free world, since the capitalist economy is inseparable from the structure formed inside the prison, the same hierarchical power structure, where those with money always have an advantage over those without. Commerce in this environment is lively, everything is bought, everything is sold and everything is negotiated. It is necessary for public bodies to mediate power relations, to centralize or negotiate them in a way that is less harmful to those who have low incomes and cannot afford the privileges of prison.Item O retorno do comércio econômico pós-pandemia, do bairro da COHAB: do município de Machados(2023-09-19) Santana, Jonas de Andrade; Silva, Maria Auxiliadora Gonçalves da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1540473468896261This research started from the concern with the trade in the COHAB neighborhood, in the municipality of Machados, in the period of rehabilitation of post-pandemic activities, based on the assumption of the lack of preparation to face the post-pandemic and the amateurism in how the act is treated to commercialize. As an objective, I analyzed trade and traders in the COHAB neighborhood, in the municipality of Machados-PE, after the pandemic., with measures to overcome the crisis caused by the virus. An ethnographic research was carried out in the research scenario and a structured and open interview was carried out, the first part of the interview being to identify the profile of the interviewees; and the second, to identify the experience and impacts caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. In general, the results led me to observe that the consequences caused by Covid-19 contributed to an economic decline in the COHAB neighborhood, presenting significant changes in the behavior of local traders and expanding their visions for future perspectives to be developed in the resumption of their activities. commercial activities. I also noticed that the merchants had neither knowledge nor experience capable of directing a path to be followed as strategies for survival and return to activities. Based on this, I reinforce that the political articulation of all spheres of government to overcome the pandemic and its economic impacts are essential in times like this, experienced by the pandemic, and support was expected for this group so affected during the pandemic.Item Têxteis, tabaco e cativos: mapeando a circulação de tecidos no comércio escravista do Atlântico Sul(2022-10-03) Ferreira, Heitor Abreu; Lopes, Gustavo Acioli; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4871749798523527; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9361259283969011Since the beginning of the Atlantic slavery process, fabrics were used in exchange by men, being considered by many historians as the main manufacture traded across the Atlantic. On the African continent, textiles were in high demand and could be used in different ways: as clothing, currency, in religious ceremonies and for other purposes. It is with this importance in mind that the present research begins, which aims to map the items transacted in Luanda and Costa da Mina, included in the Transatlantic Slave Traffic, during the 18th century. Furthermore, the work intends to contribute to the historiographical debate on the importance of fabrics and other goods in the slave trade in Costa da Mina. A central basis of discussion is based on the identification of the role that the markets played in the markets of Atlantic Africa. The methodological procedure is carried out with the transcription of a bill of lading for the vessel Nossa Senhora de Nazaré, Santo Antônio e Almas, from 1768-9, which makes it possible to trace a series of important stages of the transatlantic traffic. The said corvette departs Bahia towards Costa da Mina, passing through the island of São Tomé, carrying out a purchase of captives. Then it crosses the Atlantic towards Rio de Janeiro, where the captives are sold and, finally, return to Bahia. level of importance of tobacco in the Costa da Mina business.
