Social and economic changes are fostering a significant increase in interest in entrepreneurship as a way to launch new businesses and form a class of entrepreneurs with a diversified and strategic vision of the market. The main objective of this study is to show the importance of education for sustainable business growth. The purpose of this study is to analyze the narrative literature to examine the role that environmental education has played in the growth of entrepreneurship. There must be a significant balance between the three primary dimensions of sustainable development - economic, social and environmental. A sustainable entrepreneur must identify a need in the form of a social or environmental cause or concern, but it is crucial to emphasize that this is only the first step. Business owners must also decide how to meet a need or how to create social and environmental value based on economic value. As a result, sustainable entrepreneurship is defined as the creation of goods and services that address social and environmental issues while generating financial gain. The goals achieved through entrepreneurship education must be aligned with the proposal of environmental education, seeking as a consequence a leveling of the economy, society, and the environment to help reduce social inequalities. In conclusion, environmental education in the development of a sustainable entrepreneur is a promising step towards a more balanced and resilient future. Integrating environmental and business knowledge with an innovative and creative approach allows entrepreneurs to act as agents of change, promoting sustainable development and assisting in the creation of societies.

(2024-03-07) Cadete, Micael Lucas; Aguiar, Maria Virgínia de Almeida; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4665749527709728
The objective of this work is to show my academic journey and in the field of Agroecology, highlighting my training and the directions I intend to follow after completing my Bachelor's degree in Agroecology at the Federal Rural University of Pernambuco. The starting point was the creation of a timeline, where I narrated my story and addressed relevant aspects about my family and the context of the family agroecosystem. This environment was crucial as a research field for the activities and studies proposed by the course. From this base, I deepened my reflections on topics such as animal and plant integration, education and rural extension, in which I developed a growing affinity throughout my studies and practices. Throughout the text, I established connections between these themes, demonstrating the importance and relevance of each approach in my personal and professional trajectory. This journey of self-knowledge and reflection has been fundamental to my educational process, because by recognizing and valuing my experiences, I am building a solid foundation for my future development in the field of Agroecology. This foundation is essential not only for my academic training, but also for my work as a professional committed to sustainability and sustainable rural development.

This work aimed to describe and characterize the Environmental Education Programs (EEP) that are part of the Basic Environmental Plans (BEP) of environmental studies presented in licensing processes related to undertakings and civil construction works in Pernambuco. The electronic portal of the State Agency for the Environment - SAE provides access to projects, from which the study reports containing the Basic Environmental Plans (BEP) proposed in the period from 2011 to 2021 were selected. civil construction, with special attention to proposals for Environmental Education Programs (EEP). In the analyzed period, there are one hundred and fifty-one processes presented on the SEA website, but only civil construction projects that required an Environmental Impact Study and Environmental Impact Report were developed. A matrix with indicators related to execution and performance was developed for the analysis of EEP proposals. It was identified that most of the projects, which presented at least regular quality, were beneficial for water resources. A portion of 73%, of a total of twenty-six projects developed by the enterprises, presented EEP in their planning. When they exist, the actions of the EEP related to works and civil construction projects in Pernambuco were considered generic and with few contributions to the local community.

The phenomenon of acid rain is considered, among several researchers, as a serious environmental problem that affects many countries of the world bringing consequences for health and public assets and can be considered a reflection of the dynamics of society, so it is necessary to take measures to identify and reduce its causes and consequences through environmental education. The present work seeks to relate the subject of acid rain with the study of chemistry contents such as inorganic functions: Acids and oxides. It is known the difficulties that teachers have in promoting reflection on environmental issues in the classroom, as well as making a relationship between environmental themes and chemistry contents. Thus, we search the contextualization of the contents of chemistry and environment, bringing the rescue of memories, facts, and situations. Therefore, through the STS/STSE approach we invite students to stand themselves as citizens capable of building their own opinion for an understanding of the social dimension of science, technology, and the environment. Thus, the objective of this work is to develop scientific knowledge through a sequence of teaching and learning on the topic acid rain, using the STS/STSE approach that articulates environmental education to chemistry teaching, and to promote students of basic education, environmental and social awareness. Methodologically, we have developed a teaching and learning sequence for Leonard Waks' responsibility cycle-based STS approach, which elects five criteria to teach ethical issues and values that arise in the education that the STS is present. The didactic sequence was developed for application with a class of 13 students aged between 16 and 17, on their last year of high school, consisted of four didactic moments following the criteria of the Waks responsibility cycle, and the time stipulated for each moment is one lecture corresponding to 50 minutes. For analysis data were considered the students' answers through the proposed activities. From the results of the analysis, we can say that, during the moments proposed in the didactic sequence, the students developed a socio-environmental responsibility that was evident when, during the activities, they were able to relate the theme with the chemistry contents. With this, they were capable to denote a greater knowledge of the phenomenon studied that contributed to the understanding of their roles as citizens who recognize their own rights and duties, responsible for their decisions and for their impacts on society.

(2023-04-28) Santos, Sofia Moura; Melo Júnior, Mauro de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6735233221650148; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2854114554272022
Plankton corresponds to a group of organisms that are carried by currents, and is very important in the primary production of the food chain, maintenance of the marine ecosystem, in addition to bioindication of the environment in which it is inserted. Even so, there are few people who have this notion about this portion of living beings in aquatic ecosystems. Within this context, there is a need to raise awareness of how plankton is used as a tool for scientific dissemination and environmental education. Thus, the work aims to explore and synthesize the use of plankton as a tool for scientific dissemination and environmental education, especially in Brazil. A bibliographical research was carried out, with different combinations of words in the Google Scholar, Scielo and Science Direct databases. After analyzing the titles and abstracts, the data were passed through the exclusion and selection methods. In all, 28 papers were raised relating Plankton as a tool for Scientific Dissemination and/or Environmental Education. Analyzing the results, it was seen that it is necessary to boost national publication, considering that there is a deficiency in literature published in scientific vehicles. Most of the studies (25%) approach plankton and its theory in a more synthesized way, and in second place we have plankton being used as a source to measure water quality (21.4%). There were still manifestations of plankton being approached as the main producer of oxygen, and its importance in the estuarine environment. Among the tools adopted by the scientists, the use of lectures for national and international articles (>46%) is observed. It is concluded that it is necessary that methods and experiences to encourage the environmental education of plankton are increasingly disseminated and discussed.

(2021-12-06) Lima, Willian Lopes; Melo Júnior, Mauro de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6735233221650148; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1436297679155454
Field classes are important didactic-pedagogical tools that manage to unite theory and practice through meaningful learning. This importance grows even more when this type of activity is used to teach ecology and the environment, since through it, critical citizens can be formed and sensitized to environmental issues, which is extremely necessary today, see the advanced state degradation of our ecosystems. Therefore, it is necessary to analyze how the spheres of Federal and State governments are stimulating the teaching of ecology and the environment, and the use of field activities in schools. Therefore, an evaluation was carried out in the main documents that guide education in the state of Pernambuco, the Common National Curriculum Base and the Pernambuco Curriculum for Education, to quantify the occurrence of terms common to the areas of ecology and environment, as well as to understand how these documents regulate field classes. Furthermore, a preliminary data survey was carried out on the occurrence of field classes in teaching activities or in the education of students in the State, who completed their studies in the last 10 years, and the possible factors that hinder their implementation. From the evaluation carried out, it was possible to verify that the guiding documents of Education in the State have few terms related to the areas of ecology and the environment in their text, and although one of them refers to field classes, a concrete standardization was not observed. For its correct employment in schools. At the same time, it was evident that field classes are still not carried out satisfactorily, since through the survey, few cases of field classes were observed among the interviewees and several factors were raised that hinder their occurrence, among them, problems related to transportation, payment of fees and lack of incentives from the educational institutions themselves. The set of all data obtained in the documental research and in the preliminary survey with the school community culminated in the construction of three field guides for different ecosystems found in the State, aiming at encouraging field classes to teach ecology and the environment. Such field guides, in the form of lesson plans, provide elements necessary for teaching activities, with tips and suggestions for a better exploration of three important coastal-coastal ecosystems, which occur not only in Pernambuco, but also in other brazilian states.
