Using Functional Analysis and Topology tools, we study equations that describe the velocity field of a three-dimensional incompressible, homogeneous, isotropic viscoelastic fuid. To guarantee the existence and mild solution of the proposed problem, the behavior of the solving family associated with the Stokes operator in fractional power spaces was studied.
