The state of Pernambuco was responsible for 1,02% of slaughters. In 2018, the production of eggs has achieved 39.923.119.357 units. Inside this, 99,74% was destined to inside market. In the last few years the coturniculture has presented a nice development, fitting into new production technologies. The veterinary has a important function in the development of aviculture, being responsible for the production following sanitary laws and ensuring a better productivity of the birds. The goal of this mandatory and supervised internship was report the current reality of the poultry production, participating in activities developed in several sectors of aviculture. Between 03/12/2019 and 04/23/2019, activities of factories of bird food, bromatology labs, hatchery, egg matrix and cut chicken farms in the Mauricéa Alimentos do Nordeste LTDA company were followed. Between 05/02/2019 and 06/03/2019 the experience was on the commercial stance farm Ovo Novo and Ovinho Novo, respectively manufacturers of commercial eggs and quail eggs. Both are part of the J. The ESO/MSI (Mandatory Supervisioned Internship) is an important practible period in the graduation. This report shows the activities developed in farm animals heatlhcare center not only at the Veterinary and Zootechny Faculty Hospital at Universidade Estadual Paulista “Júlio de Mesquita Filho” (UNESP) located in Botucatu, São Paulo but also at Universidade Federal Rural de Pernambuco (UFRPE), located in Garanhuns. Among the developed activities, follow-ups were performed in a clinical, surgical and laboratory care way. The atraumatic reticulopericarditis case followed during internship and It´s a disease with a great economic importance to cattle production.The traumatic reticulopericarditis is a cardiothoracic wound that cattle has and the etiological agent are sharp objects that reaches the reticle and heart. This issue results heart failure and toxaemia. It has a great economic importance because it causes lower cattle production and cattle death.Item Efusão pericárdica em cão: relato de caso(2018-08-30) Pereira, Ana Paula Cruz; Oliveira, Andréa Alice da Fonseca; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2519790342576901; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7365503880546970Innovative techniques and treatments have made possible great advances in veterinary medicine, the affective relationship that man has developed since the beginning with domestic animals, thus increasing their life expectancy. As far as diagnoses are concerned, significant progress has been achieved by providing the veterinarian with resources that he has not had in the past, enabling a more accurate diagnosis. The compulsory Supervised Internship (ESO), under the guidance of Dr. Andrea Alice da Fonseca Oliveira, is a fundamental component for the conclusion and obtaining of the Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Medicine at the Federal Rural University of Pernambuco. The paper reports the case of a 10-year-old male dog diagnosed with Pericardial Effusion and Lymphoma. The internship was held at the Focus - Veterinary Diagnostic Center, which was chosen at the 4 Patas Veterinary Clinic in Olinda-PE, from April 18 to July 27, 2018, for 420 hours. Focus provides several diagnostic imaging services, such as computed tomography, endoscopy, ultrasound, digital radiography, among others. Veterinarians perform important role in areas such as Public Health and Collective Health, which constitute an eminent field of interdisciplinary action, through the application of professional knowledge, aiming at the prevention of diseases and the health’s promotion and recovery. The present undergraduate thesis contains the activities descriptions developed in the Local Health Systems IV and the Food Processing and Analysis Laboratory (UFRPE), both in the city of Recife, Pernambuco. The objective of these internships was to accompany, to develop and to perform activities and actions, based in the professional and multiprofessional performances, within the competencies of internship’s places, through practical skills. In the first place was performed an experience in the Public Health Surveillance sector – which includes the Environmental Health Surveillance, the Epidemiological Monitoring, Surveillance of the Workers Health and the Health Surveillance – and in the Health Care (Public Health), through the local coordination of Expanded Family Health and Primary Health Care Center. In the Laboratory there was did the monitoring of practical classes and the development of a physical-chemical and microbiological study with pizzas sold on an avenue belonging to the territory of the Local Health Systems IV. The activities provided constructive moments, also promoting criticality, within the moral and ethical-professional precepts.
