The laboratory is equipped with adequate infrastructure for clinical laboratory analyses of fluids and secretions, aimed at conducting and/or assisting clinicians in the diagnosis and prognosis of patients at the Veterinary Hospital of UFRPE. Thus, the report includes a description of the activities performed in the laboratory, encompassing the work routine, casuistic of examinations, and a specific case study. Chapter II presents a case report entitled “Hematological Manifestations of Paraneoplastic Syndrome in a Dog with Mammary Neoplasia Treated at a Veterinary Teaching Hospital in Recife-PE.” It is noteworthy that the MSI contributed to the training and acquisition of greater experience in the field of veterinary clinical pathology, aiding in the transition to the job market.
