It provides a significant opportunity for students to gain practical experiences and develop skills in their chosen field, playing a crucial role in their professional development. The aim of this paper is to report on the experiences during the mandatory supervised internship conducted at the Clinical Pathology Laboratory of Bixo’s Veterinary Clinic, which took place from October 2, 2023, to January 19, 2024. The activities carried out during this period included processing and analysis of hematological and biochemical samples, urinalyses, fecal and skin parasitological examinations, immunochromatographic tests, dermatological cytology exams, and, upon completion of the analyses, the preparation of their respective reports. The supervised internship was a very enriching experience, which provided training for the clinical pathology practical experiences, allowing the student to immerse themselves in the professional routine after their major, preparing them for the job market.
