It was carried out under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Lílian Sabrina Silvestre de Andrade, having as the chosen location the Veterinary Hospital HS - Iputinga, Recife/PE, in the period from 08/30/2021 to 12/10/2021, under the supervision of Med. Vet. Dr. Cibele Cavalcanti Souza de Melo Assis, with a total workload of 420 hours in the area of small animal medicine. This report aims to describe the structure of the hospital and the activities that were developed by the student Nathália Karen da Silva Wei, in addition to elucidating the clinical case experienced during the internship about canine distemper in a patient with the vaccination protocol up to date.Item Relatório do Estágio Supervisionado Obrigatório (ESO) realizado na Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (UFMG) e na Universidade Estadual de Londrina (UEL) na área de clínica médica de animais de companhia(2019-02-01) Barbosa, Renan Willian Amaral; Sá, Edna Michelly de Santos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5706618430575429; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5362891811131593The present Work of Conclusion of Course reports the activities developed in the area of Medical Clinic of Animals of Company, from September 18 to October 26, 2018, at the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG), and at the State University of Londrina , in the period from November 05 to December 18, 2018, in the subject of Compulsory Supervised Internship of the undergraduate course in Veterinary Medicine, Federal Rural University of Pernambuco. The activities were carried out in the Veterinary Hospitals of the mentioned institutions, under the supervision of Profª. Drª. Adriane Pimenta da Costa Val Bicalho at UFMG and Prof. Dr. Andrei Kellinton Fabretti at UEL, under the guidance of Profª. Dr. Edna Michelly de Sá Santos. Included in this Course Completion Work are the descriptions of the internship sites, characterizing the physical structure, staffing and infrastructure of the institutions, as well as the operation of the hospitals, a description of the activities carried out and the accompanying clinical cases.
