The management of fertile eggs is a complex task with various layers in its production chain, starting from the breeder farm, focusing on the management of breeding birds, especially in fumigation and egg storage. The refrigerated handling of the egg room ensures a reduction in the initial batch mortality rates, proposed case report, part of an interventional analysis in the management of a heavy sow farm, aiming to seek the ideal management to reduce the initial mortality of the flock. The internship provided hands-on experience in the routine of the poultry production chain, aiming for a successful outcome in all possible stages. The ESO significantly contributes to the professional development of the student through practical experiences used in the professional routine, preparing them for various day-to-day situations.
