    The objective of this work was to report the experiences in the Laboratory of Animal Diagnosis LTDA (LADA) from May 8 to June 15, 2018 and at the Laboratory of Parasitic Diseases (DMV-UFRPE) in the period of 18 June to July 23, 2018 corresponding to the Mandatory Supervised Internship-ESO (Discipline 08525 - Compulsory Supervised Internship of the Bachelor's Degree in Veterinary Medicine) correlating with the acquired learning along the Veterinary Ornithology course as well as the Veterinary Medicine course, emphasizing the importance of laboratory tests for animal health. The technical activities developed in the LADA consisted of monitoring and performing the microbiological, mycological and serological analyzes related to laboratory prevention and diagnosis for possible pathogens present in the poultry production chain, aiming at animal and human health. The technical activities developed at the Laboratory of Parasitic Diseases consisted of monitoring and performing the diagnostic tests called hematozoa research, microfilariae research, coproparasitological examination, identification of endoparasites, identification of ectoparasites and research of Leishmania spp, aimed mainly at the animals of company, but also contemplating the sanity of production animals. Both activities provided knowledge about laboratory analyzes that collaborate for diagnosis, prevention and animal health.
