The Mandatory Supervised Internship consists of a course taken in the eleventh semester of the Bachelor in Veterinary Medicine course, with a total workload of 420 hours, which allows the student to develop practical skills in the area of choice. The objective of this work was to report the experiences during the mandatory supervised internship fulfilled in two different locations: the clinical pathology laboratory of Pet's House Veterinary Clinic and the commercial veterinary laboratory LabPet, during the period from September 18 to December 4, 2018. Routine laboratory activities such as sample processing, analysis of hematological and parasitological exams, processing and analysis of biochemical, serological, and urinalysis tests, as well as the preparation of reports related to the aforementioned activities were accomplished.
