Veterinary Oncology has grown considerably in the last decades and currently cancer is considered one of the biggest causes of death in dogs and cats. This is due to the fact that the average life expectancy of these animals has increased greatly due to a stronger awareness of tutors regarding the care needed for the health of these animals. Coupled with this, reconstructive surgery has proven to be a great tool in veterinary medicine to correct extensive lesions associated with oncologic surgeries. There are currently several reconstructive techniques that allow to ensure the functional integrity of the animal, providing more satisfactory aesthetic results and providing the patient with a better quality of life. The present report of course conclusion, besides describing the activities performed during the accomplishment of the obligatory supervised stage, reports the procedures performed for the resection of a Hemangiopericiotoma in the region of elbow of a canine attended in the area of Clinical Surgical of Small Animals of the Hospital Veterinarian Governor Laudo Natel of FCAV / UNESP - Jaboticabal and obeying the guidelines of oncologic surgery and the subsequent plasty through a reconstructive technique of subdermal pattern flap and approaching postoperative management of this surgery.
