Elaboração de procedimento operacional padrão (POP) para recebimento, avaliação clínica e triagem de Bradypus variegatus no Instituto Preguiça de Garganta Marrom (IPGM), Recife - PE(2024-09-10) Silva, Denise Guabiraba da; Oliveira, Andrea Alice da Fonseca; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2519790342576901; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0978430921614109The Estágio Supervisionado Obrigatório (ESO) is the mandatory subject of the 11th academic period of the Bachelor's degree in Universidade Federal Rural de Pernambuco (UFRPE). It consists of 420 hours of experience in veterinary practices with the aim of promoting the complete training of veterinary professionals. The internship report's main function is to describe the activities developed by student Denise Guabiraba da Silva under the guidance of Prof. Dr Andrea Alice da Fonseca Oliveira, in addition, also aims to present the research carried out to prepare the course conclusion work entitled “Elaboration of a standard operational program (SOP) for receiving and screening Bradypus variegatus at the Instituto Preguiça de Garganta Marrom (IPGM), Recife-PE”. The ESO took place from March 25th to June 20th, from March 25th to April 26th at Parque Estadual de Dois Irmãos (PEDI) in Pernambuco, from May 2nd to May 31st at the Centro de Medicina e Pesquisa de Animais Selvagens (CEMPAS) in São Paulo and from June 3rd to 26th it was completed at PEDI. The experiences allowed new knowledge and improvements in the area of wild animal medicine, in the areas of clinical medicine, surgery, physiatry, nutrition, integrative therapies, among others.
