The compulsory supervised internship (CSI) is performed as the last stage for the completion of the Veterinary Medicine course, its objective is that the student experiences the practice of the profession in the desired air. Putting into practice the theoretical contents seen during graduation. The internship was held at the Veterinary Hospital of the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG) from August 19, 2019 to September 27, 2019 and at Pet Dream Veterinary Hospital from September 30, 2019 to October 30, 2019. This report describes the activities carried out at both institutions in the area of Small Animal Intensive Veterinary Medicine and describes a report of a Dachshund canine with Necrotizing Leukoencephalitis.
