    The Compulsory Supervised Internship (ESO) corresponds to a compulsory subject that belongs the curriculum of the Veterinary Medicine Course of the Rural Federal University of the Pernambuco (UFRPE). The internship must be carried out in up to two areas of veterinary medicine, and the student must complete a compulsory workload of 420 hours. The ESO in the area in which it is intended to act, the student can experience practical experiences in which apply the knowledge acquired during graduation. This work is a partial requirement for obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Medicine, and was carried out under the supervision of Professor Dr. Moacir Bezerra de Andrade and Co-supervision of Prof. Dr. Grazielle Anahy de Sousa Aleixo Cavalcanti and was divided into two phases: the first one describes the activities developed in the Veterinary Surgical Clinic area of the Hospital Veterinário Harmonia de Boa Viagem and the Veterinary Hospital of UFRPE, from August to November 2021, and the second one describes an accompanied case report during the stage related to Conchectomy associated with partial ablation of the pinna in a feline with squamous cell carcinoma.
