The case report chosen for a case report was a 7-year-old male canine SRD with a history of alteration in hematological levels, where he was diagnosed with splenic alteration, later submitted to exploratory laparotomy and an unfavorable prognostic splenectomy was required. This report also describes all the activities carried out, as well as the sample followed during the ESO.
