Item Dinâmica funcional de uma maternidade de canil comercial: relatório de Estágio Supervisionado Obrigatório(2021-07-13) Cortês, Hadassa de Souza; Melo, Lúcio Esmeraldo Honório de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8188529271731817; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1477770918954621The present work aims to report the experience obtained through the Mandatory Supervised Internship, a core practical course required by the program in order to receive the Bachelor’s Degree in Veterinary Medicine. The internship offers the student a possibility to apply the already learned theoretical knowledge in day-to-day activities, as to reinforce the knowledge through practical experiences and, therefore, help to prepare a more experienced professional. The internship was carried out between April 2nd and July 23rd of 2020, at Aldeia dos Goldens kennel, located in a rural area in the city of Camaragibe – PE. The activities were performed at the maternity sector of the breeding kennel and they included practical knowledge of clinical medicine, gynaecology, obstetrics, neonatology and intensive care. Each of the stages was supervised by the Manager, Paula Alexandra Delgado Fernandes Marese, and all the procedures were done according to the protocols given by Veterinary Doctor responsible for the kennel. At the end of the mandatory internship required by the Veterinary Medicine program at the Federal University of Pernambuco, supervised by the Professor Dr. Lúcio Esmeraldo Honório de Melo, the internship work time came to a total of 420 hours.
