The mandatory supervised internship is a compulsory subject to be taken in the final semester of the Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine course at UFRPE. Chapter I of this report describes the activities carried out during the internship at the LPCV-UFCG/Patos-PB, under the supervision of Prof. Thiago Arcoverde Maciel, and at the LabPet Veterinary Laboratory, located in Recife-PE, under the supervision of M.V. Dr. Andrea Maria Campos Calado Medina. The internship was under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Renata Pimentel Bandeira de Melo. Chapter II presents a case report entitled “Diagnostic and therapeutic challenges in a feline with multiple comorbidities: a palliative approach”, which addresses the role of palliative care in the face of diseases with no hope of cure.
