Item Manejo de videiras para produção de uvas de mesa no Vale do São Francisco – Fazenda Nova Neruda(2019-07-16) Araújo Neto, José Rômulo de; Silva, Mairon Moura da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7221534109119948; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2539268928566898The experiment carried out at the Nova Neruda farm, located in the city of Petrolina - PE, aimed to experience the activities related to the production of table grapes in the largest producing region of the country. In the property are produced several varieties, among them, grapes and ink, which are: BRS Isis, BRS Victory, Cotton Candy, Crimson and Sugar Crisp. The company destines its production mainly for export, however, a part of the demand is for the domestic market. During the stay at the estate, several activities related to the productive cycle of the vine were developed, such as dry pruning, Dormex® applications, dry bundling and branching, green bundling, defoliation, berry and bunches thinning, gibberellic acid applications and precleaning and harvesting. All these experiences showed how a company / farm day-to-day life is, adding the knowledge acquired in the classroom to the knowledge and experience of the field, and putting them into practice. It also showed the importance of group work for the success of the company, showing the experience of the field worker and his responsibilitie. In this way, the internship has gained experience on the labor market and how the business structure of a farm producing table grapes of the highest quality, combining academic knowledge with practical work and can serve as a trigger for the beginning of a professional career.
