Linguistic racism extends beyond the discrimination of non-standard language varieties and is also linked to issues of power and oppression. In Brazil, a country known for its rich linguistic diversity, different linguistic variations often face stigmatization and discrimination, negatively affecting the communities that use them. The film Executive Order (2022) serves as the primary source of analysis for this study as it provides a cinematic context for exploring linguistic racism. By examining the scenes and dialogues in the film, the aim is to identify manifestations of linguistic racism, both explicit and subtle. The film serves as a reflection of cultural and social representations, often perpetuating stereotypes and prejudices related to the Black population in contemporary Brazil. The findings of this research will contribute to a deeper understanding of linguistic racism in the Brazilian context, emphasizing the need to value linguistic diversity and combat discrimination against non-standard language variations. Furthermore, the study highlights the potential of Black cinema as a powerful tool for discussing complex social and cultural issues, promoting critical dialogue, and raising awareness of these crucial issues in our society.Item O professor multiplicador e sua relação com a produção cinematográfica na rede municipal de ensino do Recife(2019-07-12) Lima, Giselle Maria Carvalho da Silva; Silva, Géssika Cecília Carvalho da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5829131072769426; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0261751914711054This Course Conclusion Paper presents a study on the relation between the Multiplier Teacher and the cinematographic production in the Municipal Network of Recife. Its objectives to analyze the function Teacher Multiplier and its relation with the cinematographic production in the Municipal Network of Recife; identify the attributions of the Multiplier Teacher; to raise as it happens the continued formation for the Multiplier Teacher to act in the cinematographic productions; to identify the experiences of the cinematographic productions foreseen in the Network politic and how these productions are given in the daily life of the school. For this, bibliographical and documentary research was done, as well as a questionnaire was applied to the multiplier teachers. From this study it was possible to know how the development of cinema in the Municipal Network, the possibilities of improvement of the process, as well as the difficulties encountered. In addition, it was possible to verify that, even without having an academic education that fully contemplates the contents directed to cinema, the multiplier teachers participate in satisfactory training for the execution of the activities, even bumping into other obstacles such as the number of schools that the same multiplier. accompanies and the demand for other projects in them, the lack of time and adequate materials at school to experience these contents.
