(2023-10-19) Arruda, Luciene Maria de; Nogueira, Amanda Mansur Custódio; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0341879306272619; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2384347512489934
The present study constitutes an attempt to understand the cinema as a formative and educational tool. In this sense, we seek to understand the access of people with visual impairments if they attend movie theaters at all times and not just at festivals with accessible shows. Thinking about it, the most expressive way of visual accessibility is to describe what goes on in films, what cannot be seen; as an example of static images at the bottom of the screen; this is the most real way for these people to interact with the total narrative of the films. Within this perspective, the central objective is to identify which resources and instruments are available in cinemas and exhibitions in Recife that promote accessibility for the visually impaired public and whether this promoted accessibility is in line with the public policies of inclusion and accessibility that support this directly to people with disabilities. From this, research the objectives that propose to know when the public policies that promote accessibility in cinemas in Recife were implemented; Investigate whether there is any equipment in cinemas in Recife that promotes accessibility for people with visual impairments, making it easier to fully understand the films during their exhibition; Identify the difficulties of people with visual impairments regarding the use of accessibility equipment in movie theaters in Recife. I will start the Theoretical Framework, which dialogues with themes on: Inclusion and accessibility of people with visual impairments in cinemas (Oliveira and Vasconcelos, 2018); Public policies rights of blind people (Statute of Persons with Disabilities, 2015); Assistive technology and instruments for visually impaired people in cinemas; Audiovisual public policies for people with visual impairments (Lima, 2010; Tavares, 2019). The methodological procedures adopted are of the research type with a qualitative approach to the procedures characterized as a bibliographical research; in reference to the objectives it is classified as exploratory.

(2023-10-19) Santos, Fábio Dênis dos; Silva, Leilane Jordão Pessoa da; Nogueira, Amanda Mansur Custódio; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0341879306272619;  http://lattes.cnpq.br/0450985498841766; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6106009687389793
The present academic work aims to analyze the potential of using smartphones and audiovisual resources as pedagogical tools in the classroom, considering their advantages, challenges, and impacts on student learning. Contemporary education has been undergoing transformations due to technological advancements, with smartphones being a prominent technology. The research adopts a qualitative approach, employing interviews, content analysis, opinions, and the perspectives of students, teachers, and school administrators on the subject. For the theoretical discussions mentioned, the theoretical framework will draw from Beland & Murphy (2016), Nunes & Costa (2019), Bhandari, and Richard (2016), among other authors. The use of smartphones as pedagogical resources presents positive aspects, such as quick access to online information and resources, as well as flexibility for learning in different locations and times. However, it also raises concerns about distractions and misuse. Audiovisual resources, on the other hand, have been explored for decades as enriching tools in the classroom. The combination of smartphones and audiovisual resources offers opportunities to diversify teaching strategies and engage students more meaningfully.Collaboration among all stakeholders, including administrators, teachers, and students, is essential to ensure a balanced and efficient educational environment where technologies are used responsibly and productively.

(2023-08-16) Farias, Vinícius Coêlho Vanderley; Araújo Filho, Mironaldo Borges de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4535402164652924; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3532582532600484
The needs arising from the pandemic have spurred the permanent establishment of conveniences in the provision of services by the parish secretariat of São José de Surubim-PE. Faced with this new reality, this project developed a mobile application proposal to optimize parishioners' access to the provided services. For this purpose, the Design Thinking methodology was applied, integrating the phases of empathy, definition, ideation, and prototyping with focus groups, briefing, moodboard, and similar research, aiming to understand the audience of the Parish driving this new demand. The results brought to light critical points, such as difficulties in understanding commands and application usability, along with visual representation depicting the religious symbols of this community. Simultaneously, it implemented functions that would significantly enhance the faithful's access to services offered by the parish secretariat. With this approach, the mobile application proposal aims to make parishioners' lives more comfortable, providing them with a smoother and more pleasant experience when performing their activities, thereby enhancing their convenience and strengthening their faith.

This memorial presents the research, preparation and production stages of the documentary “Conexões”, made with the participation of crafts agents from Gravatá, in Pernambuco. As a general objective, this work sought to understand the limitations and challenges encountered by these agents with regard to the use of social media to publicize craft work resulting in the creation of an audiovisual product (documentary), with their testimonies and thus identify how they interact with the new “social media”. As part of the specific objectives, the work sought to train these local craft agents through training actions (workshops) focused on the use of tools associated with social media. In the audiovisual workshop offered to the Gravatá Association (PE), questionnaires and semi-structured interviews were administered in order to observe how the relationship between artisans and social media occurs and the results served as the basis for the production of the documentary. As a result, the research proposal is to present a reflection on the impacts of digital media on the dissemination of artisanal production considering not only the eyes of those who consume the products, but mainly through the eyes of those who are responsible for their production, the men and women that work with craftsmanship.

(2023-10-19) Januario, Sandra Amalia Santos; Santos, Kleriston Christy Vital; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4843216695958006; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5411513749287269
From the transdisciplinary field of Visual Culture studies, this paper addresses the concepts of visuality, image, territory and identity, presenting an analysis of the visualities of the Triadic Projection 'Water, Mud, and Sururu' in the Lagoon Region of Maceió, Alagoas, and how it is incorporated into the visual illustrations by the artist Víscera for the promotion of the 12th Mostra Sururu de Cinema Alagoano. The analysis is based on the principles outlined by Fernando Hernández for a dialogical visual interpretation of visual representations, leading to the exploration of discourse and the questioning of meanings in relation to the culture and identity of the Lagoon Region. Through this, we observe that the research has shown that the analysis and interpretation of images are not passive processes but involve creative and active acts. Furthermore, it has opened up new perspectives for future investigations into visual representations and self-perceptions from the community’s perspective.

This article aims to present a proposal for work in basic education from the perspective of deconstructing social imaginaries that disregard or despise African contributions to Brazilian sociocultural formation. In this sense, we believe it is necessary to start the construction of a new social mentality from the school, because it is in this environment that children and adolescents form their social identities and learn to value the different cultures and existing social differences. In this sense, we intend to discuss the relationship between ethnic-racial issues and basic education, then we will present the analysis of the data collected from interviews carried out with teachers from a public and municipal school in the interior of the state of Pernambuco and, finally, a didactic proposal which will collaborate with teaching practices that fight racism at school and insert ethnicracial issues in elementary schools. The work, therefore, is qualitative in nature and is mainly based on the production of Ribeiro (2019), BNCC (2018), Munanga (2012) and Brasil (1996).
