Item Contribuições das pesquisas empíricas sobre histórias em quadrinhos (HQs) em educação para pensar a prática educativa em artes e tecnologia(2019-07-09) Dias, Priscylla Karollyne Gomes; Machado, Josefa Alexandrina Medeiros de Oliveira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5285590707178347; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4569293571803835This monograph aims to investigate discursive situations that empirical research linked to masters courses in education, and published in recent years (2013-2018) in Brazil, build around pedagogical practices from the use of comics in comics. education. To this end, a corpus of analysis was assembled comprising a quantity of three articulated monographs in order to understand how they indicate the meanings of content learning with comic books. The gathering of the monographs that made up the corpus of research analysis was consistent with a gesture of provocation around the discursive configurations that mobilize subjects' and education's senses, situated in a field of pedagogical practice. Thus, this work has as emphasis the propositions of Dominique Maingueneau. The results indicated that the discursive situations that emerge from fragments of academic works linked to master's degree courses in education, and that produce articulations to the classroom, are as follows: convincing about the originality of the theme; pedagogical resource in a given field of teaching and pedagogical practice; approximation with the reader subject of the dissertation; distancing from daily practice; possibility of appropriation of the comic language. The insertion of the discussion around the composition of arts and technologies in this work is in line with the idea of rethinking practices based on a symbolic chain of language that is structured, in turn, through daily references and socio-culturally legitimized by the subjects. speech. The considerations of the work point out that the provocation of thinking about comic books as a technological tool suggests the opening of a field of possibilities around this provocative, contemporary and emerging expression.Item Dissidências flamejantes na república de Weimar: um espetáculo moderno de intelectualidade e gênero na hq ‘Berlim’ de Jason Lutes(2023-09-22) Vieira, Neff Borba Araquan; Barbosa, Lúcia Falcão; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5667594441132627; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3440569002472574This article aims to highlight the cenacles and dissident identities present in the Berlin of the Weimar Republic. To do so, let's analyze the spaces of the city and the intrigues traced by Jason Lutes (2020) in his comic entitled Berlin. The golden years of the so-called gay capital of Europe are the result of the emergency process of a plural modernity, which overflows after the defeat of Germany in World War I and the overthrow of imperial power. Faced with several setbacks, such as the rise of the Nazis, and the hate speech that grows every day, the city of Berlin experiences a moment of cultural effervescence, in which bohemian intellectuals explore dissident and flaming identities.Item Estágio supervisionado: uma experiência sobre história em quadrinhos para o ensino de Matemática(2021-07-24) Moura, Vitória do Nascimento; Espíndola, Elisângela Bastos de Melo; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0367382856462792; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9675955170404701Comics have been used for pedagogical purposes in several areas of knowledge. In this work, we aim to analyze how undergraduates in mathematics learn Comics (Comic Books) for the teaching of Mathematics, after a workshop focused on their teacher training on this topic. We developed the research with mathematics undergraduate students at the Federal Rural University of Pernambuco, in particular in the Supervised Internship II discipline (ESO II), during the exceptional academic period 2020.4, experienced in the remote teaching modality, due to the COVID19 pandemic. At first, 10 undergraduates answered a questionnaire that sought to raise their previous knowledge about comics. During two synchronous classes of ESO II, a workshop on comics and the use of the Pixton platform was offered. Finally, we resumed in another class to verify the activities developed by the licensors involving comics for the teaching of mathematical content. As a result, we present three HQs built by the undergraduates: one about the Pythagorean Theorem and triangles in geometry, another about functions and the last one entitled Exponential Function in Pandemic Times.Item O gênero histórias em quadrinhos como recurso na aula de língua portuguesa(2019) Medeiros, Heloisa Karla Guilherme de; Santos, Sulanita Bandeira da Cruz; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9012661375569097; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6811800497475912Item Histórias em quadrinhos: o herói em O Quarteto Fantástico e Sandman(2019-01-24) Vital, José Eduardo Carvalho; Silva, Monaliza Rios; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8558188707796223; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8555086877601824Comics have been the subject of literary studies since the second half of the twentieth century in the United States and Brazil. The conjunction of illustration and written text, characteristic of the genre, has been successful since its creation, even in the first half of the last century. Consequently, this genre has opened the door for a number of works and artists / writers to consecrate themselves over the years. The research was intended to analyze the different categories of hero in a clipping of the work of Stan Lee and Neil Gaiman in The Fantastic Four (LEE; KIRBY, 1961) and Sandman (GAIMAN; McKEAN, 1988). The research was bibliographic, based on the assumptions of Kothe (1987) and Adorno; Horkheimer (1985), from the perspective of the hero category, to analyze the aforementioned works, different categories of hero and their relation to social, cultural, historical and idelogical factors, from the time of publication of each work until its relation / innovation with the most contemporary production of these comics. The characteristics of both the authors and their works are also of fundamental importance for the development and better understanding of the research results. We'll understand how Lee and Gaiman reinvented and raised comic books to their literary heights through their heroes. From the results we find a relationship between the works of Lee; Kirby in 1961 and that of Gaiman; McKEAN in 1988, where the initial steps of the Marvel duo were fundamental to what we would see in Sandman later years, and a representation of the hero, more focused on a relationship with social, cultural and literary facts in both comics. Item Mangá Fullmetal Alchemist: uma representação social do totalitarismo(2022-10-07) Lima, Franky Lourenço de; Barbosa, Lúcia Falcão; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5667594441132627; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1807758287595697This article seeks to analyze how the Fullmetal Alchemist manga, by the artist Hiromu Arakawa, mobilizes a social representation of totalitarianism. For that, we make use of the concepts: i) of totalitarianism, defined by Hannah Arendit (1998), to underline the mechanisms of exceptionality in the State of Law, ii) of social representation, developed by Roger Chartier (1982), with the purpose of undestand the nuances with which the graphic narrative of manga and anime approaches this theme. Methodologically, we chose some structuring thematic nuclei of the narrative, wich is divided into 108 chapters originally published in a contexto of dissemination of Japanese Pop Culture to the rest of the world (2001-2010).Item A representação social da História no mangá One Piece de Eiichiro Oda(2023-04-28) Mota, Ícaro Rhuan de Lima; Barbosa, Lúcia Falcão; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5667594441132627; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9421700387960516In this article, we'll look at Eiichiro Oda's One Piece manga. Our goal is to perceive, through the identification of thematic nuclei, the way the work establishes a social representation of history, through the dispositions that the characters make of the past and its importance for the narrative plot. To this end, we will dialogue with Chartier's concept of social representation, according to which social representation is not understood as the act of revealing an absent object (or situation), but are discourses that have their own devices, their own rhetorical and narrative articulations, which are not reducible to the ideas they enunciate or the themes they sustain.Item O trabalho com tirinhas na prática do estágio supervisionado utilizando o Google sala de aula: práticas de aprendizagem em ambiente virtual(2021-04-10) Nascimento, Gledsnelly Fernanda Oliveira do; Rosa, Aliete Gomes Carneiro; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9765841869399460; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8843033175960971Item Utilização de HQ como ferramenta no ensino da história da astronomia de Olinda(2022-06-18) Oliveira, Cleiton Batista de; Miranda, Antonio Carlos da Silva; Pavão, Antonio Carlos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6873375950921034; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3236324734090101; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4295894092568777Astronomy is a Science that fascinates from children to adults, even those who work directly with it, however it is an area little addressed in formal and informal education environments. In addition, with the expansion of mobile technologies, information is disseminated in increasingly faster ways. On the other hand, there is a shortage of didactic material and literature that brings children and young people closer to the technologies currently used for scientific dissemination and popularization. The history of Astronomy allows an interesting contextuality to approach interdisciplinary contents, inherent to Astronomy, with this, the present work aims at the production of a HQ, rescuing, the astronomical events of the municipality of Olinda, which culminated in the construction of an observatory to study of the stars in the locality, important in the national and international context. The pioneering spirit of the state of Pernambuco in the construction of an observatory, discoveries and studies in Astronomy, make it the cradle of Astronomy in the Americas. In view of all the historical and cultural wealth, teachers from different areas of concentration (History, Physics, Geography and Mathematics) were interviewed to survey the need, feasibility and validation of the Educational Product, following CAPES criteria (2019), analyzing the data , using a linear Likert scale (1982), as well as, following the directional parameter to the ODS (UNITED NATIONS, 2020), quality education (#ODS4), which resulted in satisfactory data regarding the knowledge of some events described in the HQ, as well as positive perspectives for the use of the Educational Product in the school environment, given an emerging demand.Item A viagem de Órion e o nascimento das constelações – a mitologia das constelações em história em quadrinhos: uma proposta de ensino de astronomia na educação básica(2022-06-18) Cavalcanti, Jorge Luiz Batista; Lima, Thiago José Bezerra de; Fernandes, Telma Cristina Dias; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1738008489950635; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4845189761528558; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9322443838207173The constellations instigate curiosity, especially when they are observed from the perspective of the set of legends and myths arising from their nomenclatures, which is why the Teaching of Astronomy directed to the school context becomes viable. In this sense, this research sought to present a proposal for the construction of a didactic-pedagogical material for students and teachers working in Basic Education, in the format of a script for the elaboration of comics, entitled: “The journey of Orion and the birth of the constellations”, using the language of Greco-Roman mythology to understand the origin of the constellations, with emphasis on those easily observed in the sky of Pernambuco and region. In this way, we sought to insert the abstract language of Greek and Roman myths for the origin of the constellations, in order to incorporate elements related to Astronomy in the conceptual structure of the students, based on the work developed with the use of comic books. Therefore, it is expected that the educational product, represented by the aforementioned script, involving the mythological characters, can offer theoretical and practical subsidies for teachers to develop relevant themes in the field of Astronomy Teaching, providing them with educational situations of creation in different ways of media, such as comic books, cartoons, theater and others.Item A Voz do Silêncio: mangá no processo de ensino-aprendizagem da língua brasileira de sinais(2023-09-11) Carvalho, Thecia Karolina Souza de; Alves, Bruno Fernandes; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8297422717781216; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4895746996790379The sign languages and comics share similar features, the visual experience is one of the most important, and it is also one of the cultural artifacts of deaf culture. In this regard, this study is an action research project whose aim is to demonstrate how the manga A Silent Voice (2020) can be used in the teaching-learning process of the Brazilian Sign Language (LBS) in a 4th grade class in the municipal district of Paulista-PE. Firstly, for our theoretical foundation, we seek to trace the roots of Western comics, emphasizing their relation to education, as well as the main features of manga. Then, we gave an overview of deaf education and the elements that constitute the language, as well as the importance of bilingual education and the use of comics in the teaching and learning of deaf and listeners. Through a questionnaire and interview, the students and the 4th grade teacher participated in the research, in order to answer the specific objectives: to investigate the students' previous knowledges about comics and the teacher's conception of their use in school; to discover the teacher's and students' experiences with the language; to identify the presence of the subject in the different spaces of the school; to analyze students' comic strips, taking into account the aspects discussed in the didactic sequence applied. We used content analysis to define four categories that relate to the results, also using aspects of semiotic analysis. The results indicate that school is a favorable environment for the dissemination of deaf culture and the manga contributed to the development of sign language knowledge.
