    Abordagem comparativa entre a aplicação da metodologia KATAM e inventário tradicional em plantios de Khaya senegalensis (Desr.) A. Juss

    The forest inventory helps forest managers taking decisions. Installing, measuring and managing a network of inventory plots is a costly and time-consuming activity. The remote sensing techniques are increasingly gaining ground in the forestry sector because they have the potential to reduce costs without incurring any loss of precision, but they are not widely used due to their high cost. In this context, the Swedish company Katam Technologies has developed a solution for acquiring and analyzing forest data: KATAM Forest, which works using the KASLAM algorithm, which has not yet been widely used and tested in national forests. The goal of this study was to compare, in terms of accuracy and operational performance, the application of KASLAM artificial intelligence through the KATAM Forest application in forest inventory activities in Khaya senegalensis (Desr.) A. Juss plantations (5 years old), located in the state of Pernambuco, with the sampling techniques of a traditional forest inventory. Diameter at breast height (DBH) data was collected within 9 plots, as well as videos with artificial intelligence, recorded within the coordinates of the sampling units. Descriptive statistics were performed on the DBH data by plot, followed by the parametric Shapiro-Wilk normality test, where, if the null hypothesis was rejected, a non-parametric Mann-Whitney U test was required to understand the difference in averages. Operational performance was assessed using the time data obtained during the inventory process within the plots in both approaches. The DBH variable in the two inventory methodologies does not have a clear distribution concentrated close to the mean. The non-parametric test resulted in the averages obtained for DBH not showing statistical differences between the methodologies at the 5% significance level. The operational performance of the Katam methodology was half of the traditional inventory. The Katam technologies are very promising in terms of reducing time and costs in forest inventory operations. Therefore, further studies are recommended so that the subject can be disseminated in a practical way.

    Autism and technology are topics much discussed today, however, there is much more than simply applications and methods in this context, it is important to point out which methods and techniques for a better treatment and/or education of the child with ASD were addressed in this stated the AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) which is a concept applied to techniques such as ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis), where an exploratory analysis of an app called Matraquinha was carried out, which aims to “give voice” to children with difficulties in expressing themselves or verbal severity. However, we carried out a study with atypical and neurotypical children, in order to better understand how the App works, validating its efficiency and applicability based on the results achieved in 15 days of usability, a study carried out with 10 different families, belonging to APAE Palmares-PE, where we stress the app to the maximum, in order not only to identify possible bugs, but also to analyze the behavior of children, parents and the App itself.

    Agenda Beauty: protótipo de aplicativo para agendamento e controle de serviços estéticos.

    Atualmente, é necessário se comunicar por meio de ligações telefônicas, mensagens enviadas via WhatsApp ou Direct, ou visitas presenciais ao estabelecimento para agendamento, pois os profissionais possuem horários pré-agendados para a realização do serviço. A maioria dos estabelecimentos de atendimento realiza controles internos e externos por meio de anotações em papel, desde controles de caixa até agendas de clientes. Este trabalho tem como objetivo o desenvolvimento de uma solução mobile responsável pela gestão de agendas profissionais, controle de clientes e gestão financeira para proprietários de estabelecimentos. O cliente pode visualizar os horários disponíveis, fazer agendamentos e consultar estimativas de horários e preços de serviços por meio do aplicativo móvel. Método Após analisar as tecnologias disponíveis no mercado para tentar solucionar o problema, considere utilizar a plataforma React Native e a linguagem de programação Javascript para desenvolvimento, bem como o serviço de armazenamento de dados Firebase, foi implementado o protótipo de apresentação do aplicativo utilizando a tecnologia Adobe Xd, bem como o diagrama de navegação através da ferramenta Overflow, exibindo todas as telas do aplicativo e seu fluxograma. Conclusão: Com base nos resultados positivos, que indicam a necessidade de um aplicativo móvel para consulta e agendamento de serviços estéticos para auxiliar no dia a dia dos consumidores e as empresas na tomada de decisões, conclui-se que os objetivos propostos para este trabalho são viáveis.

    Análise de um sistema de recomendação de restaurantes sensível ao contexto sobre o grau de satisfação dos usuários

    Popular applications of recommender systems can be found in many areas. In the food business, platforms such as TripAdvisor stand out for suggesting specialized restaurant recommendations based on various types of relevant information, such as reviews from other users for the menu, atmosphere and recommendations for the closest restaurants are some of the specialties of these platforms. With the possibility of using new data sensitive to the user’s context, the main objective of this work is to evaluate the usage of the reason of going to the restaurant to reorganize the final restaurants recommendation through a context-based post-filtering. To achieve the goal, a mobile application was developed, the SR Recife Restaurants, to assess the degree of satisfaction of real users to the recommended restaurants, an online evaluation approach, using questionnaires, was used. When carrying out the experiment with 15 users, it was possible to notice an increase of 26.67% in the degree of satisfaction of the top-5 first recommendations when using the trip type to the restaurant as context data for the post-filtering phase.

    Study Astronomy is an interdisciplinary task, which involves several areas of science. During the stages of Basic Education, contact with this discipline can arouse interest in young people for professional careers related to Science and Technology. Despite its importance, the teaching of astronomy in schools is still deficient, either due to the lack of observation of the night sky as a practical activity or by the poor training of teachers. In front of the post, the creation of astronomy clubs collaborates with teaching-learning in the classroom, providing various activities that provoke critical-reflective thinking in the participants and help with the formation of citizenship. This article aims to create an application for mobile platform as an educational product that will be used by creators / managers of astronomy clubs. A checklist application will be created, where the club manager, even if a beginner in the task, has guidance and support for the application of activities, step by step, on the operation of an Astronomy club. The application was produced using the Massachusetts Institute of Technology's MIT App Inventor platform, a programming tool that programmers can build blockable applications without computer training required. It is expected that the application called "AstroGestor" developed will be available and free for all those interested in creating astronomy clubs in Brazil, being able to act as an electronic taskbook and easily accessible, which can help individuals in the procedures of astronomy club activities.

    Avaliação da comercialização de produtos e subprodutos de caprinos e ovinos com a utilização de aplicativo em dispositivos móveis no município de Petrolândia – PE

    The breeding of goats and sheep is a very old practice in Brazil, mainly in the Northeast, making it possible to generate income for the producer through the sale of meat, viscera, manure, skin, milk and dairy products. A major difficulty encountered by ranchers is the irregular distribution of rain during the year and the greater prevalence of animals with no defined breed pattern, causing the supply of low quality products and by-products in the market. Despite this situation, the creation of small ruminants in the semi-arid region becomes a socioeconomically viable alternative, since this practice has a strong expression for producers. The research was carried out from December 2018 to February 2019, with the possibility of interviewing the owners or managers of 65 establishments, of which 30 supermarkets, 16 establishments within the public market, 1 poultry house, 1 wholesale, 5 butchers, 3 agricultural stores, 5 bakeries, 1 salgadeira and 3 autonomous owners. Information on the marketing of products and by-products, frequency of receipt, quantity purchased by the trader and the type of slaughter used on those animals could be obtained. Among the establishments identified in the city, 85% were considered and 15% could not answer the questionnaires. Of the Establishments with potential for marketing meat, 21.73% sold goat meat, while 17.39% sheep meat. Regarding the marketing of viscera, the city's butchers represent 50% of the total marketing of viscera. In the case of the commercialization of milk and milk products in the city, it was possible to observe that in the city this type of product presents a low expression. As far as fur trading is concerned, its identification was possible in only one point of the city. Regarding the commercialization of manure, it can be seen that it has a low Expression in the agricultural and livestock stores, and it is possible to identify only the sale made by autonomous owners who seek and resell the product. With this, it is possible to infer that the trade of goats and sheep in Petrolândia - PE is marked by a low commercialization of these products and byproducts in formal places, such as supermarkets and agricultural stores, being more common to find these products and byproducts in butchers and public market.

    Urban mobility is defined as the ease of displacement of people and goods in urban roads, ensuring the movement of different modes between their areas. In this segment, with the increasing use of applications on mobile devices, mainly in geolocation services, has provided the development of applications that support urban mobility, allowing people access to important information for their displacement, such as, tracing routes, locating addresses, congestion information, road conditions, accidents. These applications have a specific characteristic in their context of use, since they are commonly used during vehicular driving. Consequently, the usability of these applications should provide intuitive and simple interaction with the interface, for these applications to be satisfactory and to be used effectively. In this context, the aim of this work is to evaluate the usability of the applications that assist in urban mobility, whose focus is to assess the quality of the interaction and interface of the applications that are used while driving. In order to perform this evaluation, the heuristic inspection method will be used, through the SMASH heuristic evaluation, specific to smartphones, the test will be carried out by online form, for the collection of quantitative and qualitative data, with an exploratory approach. As a result of this work, it evidenced the pertinent usability problems in the applications, the indicative and positive and negative influences that affect permeate the use, the factors that negatively impact user satisfaction, as well as a comparative analysis of which application gets the best performance in this context of use. In conclusion, the Waze application has more users than Google Maps, yet it presented the most usability problems in both evaluations, which implies that for its effectiveness to be permanent and more satisfactory, it must take into consideration the problems. according to their severity. The problems contained in Google Maps, in part, are similar to those in Waze, containing some features that also require corrections.

    Avaliação de aplicativos de Química: uma investigação através do Modelo de Avaliação de Aplicativos Educacionais

    The presence of Digital Information and Communication Technologies (DIT) in education has grown significantly over the years. This growth can be seen mainly in the frequent use of smartphones and tablets in the classroom, and in the number of applications (apps) for educational purposes available on digital platforms. For the teaching and learning of Chemistry, and specifically the subarea of organic chemistry, the contributions that help the understanding of this Science are unlimited, based on the visualization and interaction provided by the available applications. However, for a conscious and objective use of this tool, it is necessary that the teacher knows how to administer it in a structured way to achieve positive results in the students' learning process. Thus, the present work aims to develop a new model based on technical and pedagogical aspects, existing in evaluation models of Digital Educational Games (DEG) incorporating Bloom's Taxonomy, in addition to analyzing Organic Chemistry applications (Apps). available for free on the Google Play® platform. To achieve this, the methodological path consists of 4 steps: 1) Survey of organic chemistry applications available on Google Play® through the latent corpus; 2) Survey of models and evaluation instruments for educational digital games on the Google Scholar platform; 3) Development of a model for evaluating apps; 4) Analysis of chemistry applications found in the latent corpus, according to the model for evaluating the proposed applications. The results show that there is a diversity of organic chemistry applications, as well as JED assessment models, contributing to the development of the Educational Application Assessment Model (EAAM), composed of categories and requirements that make up technical and pedagogical aspects found and adapted from the DEG models analyzed. Furthermore, based on the EAAM produced, we analyzed Organic Chemistry applications, identifying characteristics that can be used in teaching chemistry, including: quiz characteristics, good technical functioning, levels of complexity in the content, among others. Finally, research indicates that EAAM has the potential to assist teachers in choosing applications available in application stores, given its focus on technical and pedagogical aspects that influence student learning, in addition to being able to be used for the construction of new applications in different areas, in addition to Chemistry teaching.

    Caracterização da comercialização de produtos e subprodutos oriundos da caprinovinocultura no município de Pesqueira – PE com uso de aplicativo em dispositivos móveis

    The objective of the present study was to characterize the trade of goats and sheep products in the municipality of Pesqueira - PE with the use of mobile applications. The research was conducted through interviews with owners of commercial establishments in the municipality of Pesqueira-PE, carried out between January and February 2019, with the help of the application Zooquestions, which contains questionnaires related to the marketing of products and byproducts from small ruminants. The collected data were transferred to an Excel spreadsheet, were organized by means of mathematical and comparative constructions, in order to obtain the results. It was observed that only six districts of the municipality presented commercialization of products and by-products of goats and sheep. Among the products, milk, cheese, curd, meat, skin and viscera were found, most of them were informal commercialization, without complying with current legislation, where 93,75% of the slaughter was clandestine and 100% of meat were stored in an "in natura" way. The skins were marketed by producers and traders, the skin being clean, clean and salty without the criteria for purchase. Of the milk, 100% was commercialized in an "in natura" way, also emphasizing informal commerce. The cheese and curd sold were handmade, made from products and by-products mostly in the backyards of the producers' houses. In this context, it can be seen that the trade in goats and sheep products is significant and well distributed in the municipality of Pesqueira-PE, but has not yet reached the level of potentiality it presents, mainly due to informality.

    Como o uso de Play Feature Delivery no Android pode ajudar na sustentabilidade digital

    With the increasing access to the internet via mobile devices among the less privileged classes in Brazil, digital sustainability becomes of growing importance. The aim of this study is to assess the impact of the Play Feature Delivery technology on mobile data consumption on Android devices. A parametric t-test was applied to evaluate significant differences between the averages of data amounts spent in Megabytes when downloading two applications. The result corresponded to a t-value of approximately 65.55 and the rejection of the null hypothesis. This finding not only underscores the technical importance for Android developers but also highlights its relevance in showing an improvement in mobile data usage, especially in an era where the democratization of access to information is vital. The research reinforces the idea that society should adapt to digital resources, optimizing data usage. To reach these conclusions, two mobile applications focused on first aid guidelines were developed and analyzed. The main advantage observed was the reduction in mobile data consumption, validating the efficacy of Play Feature Delivery compared to conventional applications.

    Acompanhar os parâmetros durante o processo de fermentação alcoólica, como a temperatura é, fundamental para um bom produto. Essa supervisão pode acarretar em uma carga de trabalho excessiva devido a processos repetitivos. Neste cenário, a automação desta tarefa possibilita o acompanhamento dos dados utilizando um sistema para o monitoramento remoto. O objetivo deste trabalho é desenvolver uma aplicação móvel em conjunto com um sistema embarcado utilizando Arduino, módulos e sensores de baixo valor aquisitivo. Espera-se como resultado uma solução para dispositivos móveis que possibilite o monitoramento remoto da temperatura.

    O consumo por aplicativo de delivery de comida: um estudo sobre a percepção dos consumidores em Recife - PE

    The process of technological transformation has enabled us to evolve far beyond just faster communication, but also evolution in the way we consume. In this context, consumption through food delivery apps stands out. With society increasingly developed and with less time, the consumer market for mobile applications has taken on a large proportion and has become part of the routine of people from Recife, whether at home or away from home. As a result, consumer behavior underwent changes and became the focus of this research along with the path taken to achieve this reality. In this scenario, the study is guided by the following question: What is the perception and how does the purchasing behavior of consumers using delivery apps work? The general objective is to explore various aspects related to this consumer market, to understand the perception of users of Ifood and other food delivery applications. Research using an online form was used as a methodology in conjunction with bibliographical research, based on a descriptive study with a qualitative approach. The study was limited to the city of Recife-PE, with the population being people who consume food through a food delivery app in this city and a sample of 89 consumers, who fit into a non-probabilistic sample, with whom an appropriate structured questionnaire was applied. to the objectives of this research, and the results were subsequently analyzed using descriptive statistics. As a conclusion of this study, it was evident that consumers seek practicality, time savings and use the service as a form of reward, opting for applications due to ease, clarity of information, variety, judging them as relevant in decision making.

    Desenvolvimento de projeto em realidade aumentada para o ensino dos conceitos da cinética química

    It is as a result of the development of Digital Information and Communication Technologies (DICT) that today, in the 21st century, several paths can be created in order to enable the construction of knowledge in an educational context. The means by which teaching and learning processes are applied, formerly limited to four walls in traditional and authoritarian teaching, have been acquiring more space in the digital world and this reflects the idea of having a future even more immersed in this scenario. Smartphone apps, for example, are already a reality in education and both teachers and students have been making progress in their use inside and outside the classroom, enabling mobile learning, a very relevant feature in the digital age. That said, this work aimed to develop an app in augmented reality for teaching the concepts of Chemical Kinetics in order to assist, as a digital didactic resource, in educational processes. For its development, paths were sought for a basic training in the area of programming in order to broaden the vision and know which is the best software for app development in augmented reality (AR). The software chosen for the action were Unity and Vuforia, since both allow mutually creating and associating their resources such as graphic assets, markers to be plotted using their coordinates, in addition to operations such as animation, AR association and finally creating apps. Initial tests were carried out by the software used in the work, culminating in the production of two AR experiments using graphical objects from the Unity library, serving as a starting point for building the app as a whole. The proposal for the development of the app in Augmented Reality proved to be quite interesting with regard to innovation for teaching Chemistry, such as the product acquired in this process, having the potential to work in the classroom by both teachers and students.

    It is notable that the degradation of marine life has been a heavily discussed topic in recent decades, especially in regard to sea turtles. Human actions have caused serious damage to these species in their natural habitat. However, it is possible to mitigate these negative impacts through the use of digital technologies, in the context of developing solutions that aim to preserve these vulnerable species. This project targets the implement of an effective solution that provides support in the monitoring of sea turtle nests, using the Thingsboard mobile application, aiming to facilitate the monitoring activity and the accuracy of the processes involved.

    Science and technology are essential for the socioeconomic development of a society, and for understanding the complexity of the world through scientific education to citizens so that they recognize science as an integral part of their culture. In this context, the internet and its digital platforms work as enhancers for the accessibility of scientific and technological information. Currently, a lot of information about the medicinal use of Cannabis sativa L. is being published in the most diverse media, but this information does not always have a scientific basis. Most of society is uninformed of the implications of this plant in the treatment of various pathologies, especially in the treatment of neurodegenerative diseases. The objective of this work was to create a mobile app, the Endocannabinoid, with scientific information, adopting communication strategies in simple and accessible language. The FabApp website was used to create the application, academic research platforms, such as Google, Scielo and NCBI, to reference and Canva to create teaching materials, such as images, visual content and logo. Thus, the development of this application made it possible to scientifically inform people about the medicinal use of Cannabis sativa L., and the Laws governing the cultivation and medicinal use of the plant, and it has contributed to improving the quality of life of people suffering from diseases which can be treated with the active principle of this plant.

    Understanding the Universe that surrounds us is a great challenge and it is through education that we can interact with this reality. Awakening the interest of students in Sciences such as Astrochemistry has been a challenge and the lack of knowledge in this area has brought consequences for our society, because it is through Astrochemistry that we have knowledge that space is full of molecules and that many molecules of planet Earth were formed in space. Astrochemistry is a multidisciplinary science that studies atoms, molecules and chemical reactions in outer space, as well as understanding the evolution and chemical composition of the universe, the chemical phenomena that take place in space. In view of these difficulties, the present work aims to develop a didactic strategy for using an application in the teaching and learning process of Astrochemistry. Currently, the use of digital technologies (DT) is becoming increasingly popular and many people have access to smartphones and the internet, making this resource even more accessible for educational purposes in the teaching-learning process. The developed application, called AstroQuímica, was created with the help of the “app factories” platform known as Fabapp. AstroQuímica is an application of chemical knowledge related to Astronomy that aims to provide content and curiosities about the Chemistry of the universe. In the application, in addition to contributing to the study of this Science, it makes it possible to check your knowledge with questions about Astrochemistry. In order to obtain a more effective result in solving problems faced by basic education teachers, a didactic sequence (SD) was developed as a proposal for using the application.

    The needs arising from the pandemic have spurred the permanent establishment of conveniences in the provision of services by the parish secretariat of São José de Surubim-PE. Faced with this new reality, this project developed a mobile application proposal to optimize parishioners' access to the provided services. For this purpose, the Design Thinking methodology was applied, integrating the phases of empathy, definition, ideation, and prototyping with focus groups, briefing, moodboard, and similar research, aiming to understand the audience of the Parish driving this new demand. The results brought to light critical points, such as difficulties in understanding commands and application usability, along with visual representation depicting the religious symbols of this community. Simultaneously, it implemented functions that would significantly enhance the faithful's access to services offered by the parish secretariat. With this approach, the mobile application proposal aims to make parishioners' lives more comfortable, providing them with a smoother and more pleasant experience when performing their activities, thereby enhancing their convenience and strengthening their faith.

    Detecção de aplicativos maliciosos no sistema operacional android por meio de análise estática automatizada

    The mobile applications platform known as Android provides a wide an open environment of application development to all kinds of software, however this freedom can bring possible software security vulnerabilities that can be used unfortunately to create threats to the operation system. There are vulnerabilities that comes from software and hardware that allows the creation of threats called: spyware, diverse kinds of malware, and with raising popularity, the ransomware. In this case is necessary to build application analysis to find out threats that are increasing in size and complexity. To accomplish this task, this research proposes a technique that combines multiple strategies to orchestrate a new technique that can detect threats and vulnerabilities inside applications developed to the Android mobile operational system. The strategy combines automatic static analysis and threat profile identification by metadata from an external source. Using techniques like web crawling to collect metadata from application stores, we generated a data set with 1000 applications, which 500 are infected and 500 aren't, using balancing technique such as super sampling, extraction and selection of features like: TF-IDF, frequency of terms, feature conversion from nominal to binary and normalization. Using the generated data set to create classification models with the most used machine learning algorithms used by other researchers, we could provide precision metrics, false positives, and false negatives at acceptable rates, comparable to other researches that presents the same performance metrics.

    Educação ambiental através de recursos digitais: uma proposta para contribuir com o processo de ensino-aprendizagem

    Environmental education corresponds to an educational process related to socio- environmental issues, which by law must be addressed in schools at all levels of education. Also considering the importance of this theme with regard to the construction of sustainable actions related to daily socio-environmental practices, which are urgently needed to be thought out and developed in schools. Based on this, this work aims to analyze the contributions of digital resources, such as apps, in the teaching-learning process focused on environmental education at school. From an intervention project that took place in the seventh year of elementary school, the positive impact of using this resource was evident, since it promoted interaction and instigated students' critical sense regarding the importance of this theme and the extent of the socio-environmental impacts caused. of an anthropic order. We therefore consider the use of technologies in environmental education as a positive resource in the teaching-learning process of students, as it stimulates and makes the class attractive, contributing to their active participation and effectively with their learning.

    Estimativa de variáveis dendrométricas a partir do sensor LiDAR no IPHONE 13 PRO

    Nos últimos anos, o uso de tecnologias de sensoriamento remoto, como o sensor LiDAR, tornou-se fundamental na análise de variáveis dendrométricas em áreas florestais, e o LiDAR no iPhone 13 Pro representa uma inovação, oferecendo uma maneira acessível e eficiente de obter dados precisos sobre a estrutura florestal. Este trabalho visa avaliar a eficácia do sensor LiDAR do iPhone 13 Pro na estimativa de variáveis dendrométricas, como diâmetro e altura das árvores, em um povoamento de Mogno Africano, comparando medições com métodos convencionais para verificar a precisão dos dados obtidos pelo LiDAR. A tecnologia LiDAR tem avançado significativamente, permitindo a obtenção de dados tridimensionais detalhados sobre a estrutura das florestas, sendo amplamente utilizada na engenharia florestal para inventário, planejamento de manejo e modelagem de crescimento de árvores; aplicativos que incorporam LiDAR, como ForestScanner e Arboreal Tree, têm mostrado potencial em fornecer estimativas precisas de variáveis dendrométricas. O estudo foi realizado na Estação Experimental de Cana-de-açúcar do Carpina, em Pernambuco, onde dados de diâmetro e altura foram coletados manualmente e por meio dos aplicativos ForestScanner e Arboreal Tree, utilizando o sensor LiDAR do iPhone 13 Pro, e as medições foram comparadas para avaliar a precisão dos dados obtidos pelos aplicativos em relação aos métodos convencionais. Os resultados mostraram uma forte correlação entre as medições convencionais e as obtidas pelos aplicativos, com o ForestScanner apresentando um coeficiente de determinação (R²) de 0,852 e um RMSE de 2,24 cm para o diâmetro, enquanto o Arboreal Tree mostrou um R² de 0,9501 e um RMSE de 1,44 cm; para a altura, o Arboreal Tree apresentou um R² de 0,7857 e um RMSE de 1,31 m, indicando que ambos os aplicativos fornecem estimativas precisas e podem ser usados como alternativas eficientes aos métodos convencionais de medição. A utilização do sensor LiDAR no iPhone 13 Pro, combinada com os aplicativos ForestScanner e Arboreal Tree, mostrou-se eficaz na estimativa de variáveis dendrométricas, destacando a importância da tecnologia LiDAR em dispositivos móveis como uma ferramenta inovadora e prática para a coleta de dados florestais, oferecendo precisão, economia de tempo e custos na obtenção de informações sobre a estrutura florestal.
