| dc.description | A temática da diferenciação salarial é frequentemente abordada nos estudos em Economia, podendo ser analisada a partir de características espaciais, dos indivíduos e das firmas. Ao analisar o impacto das características das firmas no retorno salarial dos trabalhadores, devem ser relacionadas uma série de características referentes as estruturas físicas e financeiras das instituições, como mostra a literatura que características das diferentes indústrias as quais os trabalhadores estão inseridos constituem um importante fator de determinação salarial. Sendo assim, este trabalho pretende analisar a diferenciação salarial existente no setor industrial do Nordeste brasileiro, buscando verificar as características das indústrias que pagam os maiores e os menores prêmios salariais; como também analisar se as características não observáveis dos indivíduos possuem influência na dispersão salarial existente. Utilizando a base de dados da RAIS, é estimado um modelo a partir de equações mincerianas de rendimentos A análise é feita comparando os prêmios salariais obtidos nas regressões do modelo de mínimos quadrados ordinários (MQO) e de efeitos fixos dos indivíduos. Os resultados encontrados mostram que os efeitos fixos individuais são componentes de grande relevância para explicar as variações dos salários reais do trabalhador formal da indústria nordestina, entre 2010 e 2014. | pt_BR |
| dc.description.abstract | The theme of wage differentiation is often addressed in studies in economics and can be analyzed from spatial characteristics, individuals and firms. In analyzing the impact of firm characteristics on workers 'wage returns, a number of characteristics relating to the institutions' physical and financial structures should be related, as shown in the literature that characteristics of the different industries to which workers are inserted constitute an important factor of wage determination. Thus, this paper aims to analyze the wage differentiation existing in the industrial sector of the Northeast of Brazil, seeking to verify the characteristics of the industries that pay the highest and the lowest wage premiums; as well as to analyze if the unobservable characteristics of individuals influence the existing wage dispersion. Using the RAIS database, a model is estimated from mincerian income equations. The analysis is done comparing the wage premiums obtained in the regressions of the ordinary least squares (OLS) model and the fixed effects of individuals. The results show that the individual fixed effects are important components to explain the real wage variations of the formal worker of the Northeastern industry, between 2010 and 2014. | pt_BR |
