Item Trabalho de Conclusão de Residência: área de concentração – clínica médica, cirúrgica e da reprodução em grandes animais(2023-02-23) Souza, Jerônimo Hugo de; Bartolomeu, Cláudio Coutinho; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7619056086707716; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4918960351233428The Multiprofessional Residency Programs and in the Health Professional Area are a teaching modality, aimed at the health professions, which seek to integrate teaching-service-community, configuring an extremely important stage in the career of health professionals, allowing a better training through in-service training, thus delivering a more qualified professional to the labor market. The activities directed to the Medical, Surgical and Reproductive Clinic Area allowed the carrying out of services directed to the equine, swine, bovine, caprine, ovine and buffalo species, contributing to the development and improvement of skills inherent to e veterinarian profession. The present work aims to describe the activities carried out at PRAPSMV, during the period from March 2021 to January 2023 and to present the case report - Coxofemoral injury resulting from trauma in two cows. The total number of consultations performed in the period between March 2021 and January 2023, indicating a sum of 373 clinical, surgical and reproductive consultations among all species of large animals, of which 194 were ruminants, 170 horses and 9 pigs. With varying levels of complexity and affecting the various organic systems, a vast and qualified training was possible, important for the professionalization of the resident. In the context of the SUS, the work carried out allowed several learnings related to Public Health, making it possible to observe the main demands of the population, the activities developed by the Environmental, Epidemiological and Sanitary Surveillance and, mainly, the importance of the role of the veterinarian as a health professional in NASF. The program seeks to integrate teaching-service-community, through partnerships with managers, workers and users, aiming at technical improvement and the qualified insertion of health professionals in the labor market. It has a minimum workload of 5,760 hours, distributed in sixty hours per week, with a minimum duration of two years and on an exclusive dedication basis. The purpose of this report was to describe the activities developed during the Residency Program in the Professional Health Area in Veterinary Medicine with an emphasis on Medical, Surgical and Large Animal Reproduction held at the Large Animal Outpatient Clinic (AGA) of the Veterinary Hospital (HOVET) from DMV / UFRPE, Recife, in Health Surveillance and NASF in Camaragibe, PE, from June 2018 to May 2020. The professional residency program in veterinary medicine enabled personal and, especially, professional development in the area of Medical, Surgical and Large Animal Reproduction. It also allowed to experience other areas such as public health and understand the importance of having the veterinarian inserted in it.Item Relatório de Conclusão de Residência – Programa de Residência em Área Profissional da Saúde em Medicina Veterinária - patologia animal(2021-02-26) Vargas, Natália Bernardi; Barros, Mércia Rodrigues; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1935392548217410; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4499185301464893The Residency Program in the Professional Health Area - Veterinary Medicine is a modality of theoretical-practical post-graduation (Lato sensu) with a total mandatory workload of 5,760 hours, distributed in the routine activities of the concentration area chosen by the resident, activities of the Unified Health System (Health Surveillance and Extended Family Health Center) and theoretical activities (mandatory and optional subjects) over 24 consecutive months. The activities described in this report took place from March 2019 to March 2021 and are reported in chapters, covering actions developed in the various fields of practice, such as the Animal Pathology area of the Department of Veterinary Medicine of the Federal Rural University of Pernambuco (DMV-UFRPE). The experience in the Unified Health System (SUS) is part of the set of mandatory activities proposed by the Residency Program whose minimum total workload amounts to 960 hours divided into two parts, the first being in Health Surveillance (720 hours) carried out in the period of 07/10/2019 and 09/01/2010 in Sanitary District III in Recife-PE and the second, in theory, at the Family Health Support Center-AB (NASF-AB) (240 hours), however due to the demand for the service due to the fight against the Pandemic caused by Sars-CoV-2, this last part occurred in the period from May 11, 2020 to December 31, 2020 in the Directorate of Primary Care of the Municipality of Camaragibe-PE and exceeded the minimum workload to be fulfilled.Item Trabalho de conclusão da residência em medicina veterinária preventiva – saúde pública: dimensionamento da população de cães e gatos do município de Cedro-PE(2021-02-22) Lima, Vitória Figueiredo; Brandespim, Daniel Friguglietti; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0279327020788151; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8290862591009568
