Item O ensino de História e Tecnologias Digitais de Informação e Comunicação (TDIC) nos anos finais do ensino fundamental : uma análise sobre os desafios e as possibilidades(2024-01-04) Pereira, Joabson Luiz; Corrêa, Lucas Mariani; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1710180569222932; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0126393687241277This current undergraduate thesis aims to investigate how academia initially sought to understand the impacts of technologies on the teaching of the History curriculum, taking into account the changes and continuities brought about by the period of remote teaching instituted by the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, serving as the historical/temporal landmark. To achieve this, it is necessary to reflect, within a general objective, on ways to enhance pedagogical practices in the use of Digital Information and Communication Technologies (DICTs) in the context of History classes in the final years of Elementary Education, through a bibliographic review published in theses and dissertations. The selected texts throughout the research come from academic sources recognized by the scientific community, as mentioned earlier. Therefore, the research was conducted directly in digital repositories of universities or in digital libraries that organize research in these repositories. For example, when using the UFPE Repository and conducting a search, the repository presents theses and dissertations from other areas of education involving different curriculum components in descending order of relevance. The results from this demand were satisfactory, as there is a concern within academia, especially in graduate and professional master's programs. However, the authors do not place all hope for change and innovation in technological tools but rather in the approaches and methodologies that teachers will use with students, in the role of mediators of historical knowledge. Another challenge seen to be overcome is the infrastructure of schools, as per the TIC Education 2022 research, and the ongoing training of teachers, whether offered by the education system or sought by the teacher, must align with the perspective that the role of the History teacher is even more urgent. Thus, there is a need for the continuity of interdisciplinary studies between Pedagogy and History Teaching, elements that should be combined from the beginning of the teacher's training in this curriculum component.Item O ensino de urgência: uma análise comparada dos impactos sociais da SARSCOV-2 e de acessibilidade às tecnologias digitais nas localidades Cacimbinha e Bonita de Fora, município São João do Tigre-PBCosta, Elenice Farias da; Silva, Ayalla Oliveira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2807298214600577; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2522073063050238The SARS-CoV-2 pandemic has caused significant impacts on all layers of the population, with special attention to its effects on the educational environment. Therefore, from the perspective of contemporary history, this work investigates the implications of the rapid adoption of digital technologies in two schools focused on basic education located in Cacimbinha and Bonita de Fora, in the municipality of São João do Tigre, Paraíba, as part of the impacts imposed by the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic (2020-2022). The study is structured in two chapters and aims to explore the technological demand in basic education, highlighting the role played by the management of the Pedro Bezerra Filho School in the district of Cacimbinha and the Semeão Monteiro da Costa School in the Bonita de Fora area, rural zone of the aforementioned municipality. It seeks to discuss the use of digital technologies in the educational environment of an inland area in Paraíba and the difficulties and challenges faced by managers, teachers, and students. It also investigates the social and educational impacts on the mentioned schools, considering the students' perception of their experiences and the challenges faced in their formative processes in the pandemic context. Methodologically, the work was guided by the qualitative approach to quantitative data, which was collected through a questionnaire applied to students from both schools covered in this study. The interview technique was also used, following the methodological perspective of Oral History. The results obtained show similarities in the challenges faced by managers, teachers, and students in the educational spaces during the researched period. These results guide towards contributing to reflections on digital accessibility in the basic education school environment, with a special focus on the predominantly rural student population from the areas of Cacimbinha and Bonita de Fora in the semi-arid region of Paraíba.Item Relutância à vacinação no Brasil: uma análise sobre revolta da vacina e a pandemia do Covid-19(2023-12-27) Gomes, Ailany Almeida; Nascimento, Greyce Falcão do; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8661001280090430The present work aims to analyze the motivations that led different social actors, in two moments in the history of Brazil, to resist vaccination. Based on the study of different contexts: historical, political, and social, both the Vaccine Revolt in 1904 and Covid-19, starting in 2020. This study was based on an analysis of books that deal with on issues surrounding the importance of vaccination, the context of the revolt, such as the recent republic, the influence of the media at the time, and the contribution of Oswaldo Cruz. Furthermore, recent articles were analyzed that deal with the Vaccine Revolt, and also with Covid-19, which at its peak of contagion in Brazil, saw the population's refusal to take the vaccine, believing in fake news that was widespread at the time, in addition to the influence of the government's own denialism at the height of the pandemic. According to the bibliographic study carried out, it is possible to show that resistance to the vaccine at these two moments was triggered by a series of determining factors. The revolt was due to the population's lack of motivation with the recent republic, with the works carried out that sought to modernize Rio de Janeiro while excluding the poorest classes, combined with political issues, forced vaccination and misinformation about immunization. With Covid-19, it was permeated by fake news about the vaccine, as the government leader himself refused to take the vaccine and advised his voters not to take it either, fueling the population's fear and disbelief surrounding the effectiveness of this vaccine. . Still, the vaccine proved to be important and effective, like all others that have been developed over decades, providing future generations with immunity against a series of diseases.
