Educação ambiental na formação do empreendedor sustentável
(2024-02-27) Lima, Juliana Rodrigues de; Lima, Elifábia Neves de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6117763430610324
Social and economic changes are fostering a significant increase in interest in entrepreneurship as a way to launch new businesses and form a class of entrepreneurs with a diversified and strategic vision of the market. The main objective of this study is to show the importance of education for sustainable business growth. The purpose of this study is to analyze the narrative literature to examine the role that environmental education has played in the growth of entrepreneurship. There must be a significant balance between the three primary dimensions of sustainable development - economic, social and environmental. A sustainable entrepreneur must identify a need in the form of a social or environmental cause or concern, but it is crucial to emphasize that this is only the first step. Business owners must also decide how to meet a need or how to create social and environmental value based on economic value. As a result, sustainable entrepreneurship is defined as the creation of goods and services that address social and environmental issues while generating financial gain. The goals achieved through entrepreneurship education must be aligned with the proposal of environmental education, seeking as a consequence a leveling of the economy, society, and the environment to help reduce social inequalities. In conclusion, environmental education in the development of a sustainable entrepreneur is a promising step towards a more balanced and resilient future. Integrating environmental and business knowledge with an innovative and creative approach allows entrepreneurs to act as agents of change, promoting sustainable development and assisting in the creation of societies.

Plankton corresponds to a group of organisms that are carried by currents, and is very important in the primary production of the food chain, maintenance of the marine ecosystem, in addition to bioindication of the environment in which it is inserted. Even so, there are few people who have this notion about this portion of living beings in aquatic ecosystems. Within this context, there is a need to raise awareness of how plankton is used as a tool for scientific dissemination and environmental education. Thus, the work aims to explore and synthesize the use of plankton as a tool for scientific dissemination and environmental education, especially in Brazil. A bibliographical research was carried out, with different combinations of words in the Google Scholar, Scielo and Science Direct databases. After analyzing the titles and abstracts, the data were passed through the exclusion and selection methods. In all, 28 papers were raised relating Plankton as a tool for Scientific Dissemination and/or Environmental Education. Analyzing the results, it was seen that it is necessary to boost national publication, considering that there is a deficiency in literature published in scientific vehicles. Most of the studies (25%) approach plankton and its theory in a more synthesized way, and in second place we have plankton being used as a source to measure water quality (21.4%). There were still manifestations of plankton being approached as the main producer of oxygen, and its importance in the estuarine environment. Among the tools adopted by the scientists, the use of lectures for national and international articles (>46%) is observed. It is concluded that it is necessary that methods and experiences to encourage the environmental education of plankton are increasingly disseminated and discussed.

The Engenho Jardim APA is located in the municipality of Moreno-PE, characterized by being located in the rural area of the city with the presence of forest fragments and sugarcane monocultures, where an investigation was carried out on the local avifauna, in relation to its richness. and conservation status. First, based on the annotated list of the Brazilian Committee of Ornithological Records (CBRO) (Pacheco et al, 2021), the Pernambuco Bird List (Farias, PEREIRA e SILVA, 2008) and the Preliminary Avifauna Survey in the municipality of Moreno–Pernambuco (DE PERNAMBUCO, 2003) and subsequently carried out a survey and field record of the birds that reside and visit the Engenho Jardim Municipal School, located within the conservation unit, then an action was carried out with an agenda on environmental education and scientific dissemination for the students who make up the school, as a way of returning the information collected and contributing to local education, in this process the Guide “Birds from my school: Guide to birds from the Engenho Jardim school” was created. The collection took place in March and April 2022 through observations and later carried out an educational action on April 29, 2022. The educational activity was aimed at about 150 elementary school students with classes from the first to the ninth grade, and instruments such as Banner, group dynamics and music composition were used, where there was a presentation of the local avifauna, exchange of knowledge and a lot of enthusiasm of students. The survey showed a total of 58 species, distributed in 16 orders and 30 families, all of which showed little concern. The guide was composed of contents presenting ornithology, bird classes, registered birds, legends and composed music, all information was passed using simple language, however serving any audience, from children to adults.

Over the years, disposable plastic has been increasingly used recklessly by society. However, its excessive and indiscriminate use has caused great impacts on ecosystems. It is known that environmental perception is an important tool that influences people's attitudes and can be shaped according to socioeconomic factors. Based on this, this research aimed to assess the perception of students in relation to socioeconomic factors, gender and education level, on the impacts caused by disposable plastics. We expected that females and the 3rd year of high school have a greater perception than males and the 9th year of elementary school. The study was carried out in three public schools, in the months of November and December 2019, through a structured questionnaire, with 169 students. Most participants had a perception that favors environmental conservation over disposable plastics, regardless of socioeconomic factors. Students mainly highlighted that students directly affect the ecosystem and the importance of recycling. However, some participants have a negative perception pointing out that plastics are good considering only their usefulness, having a disconnection with the damage caused to the environment. It is assumed that a lack of important gender differences was observed because of social issues coupled with the difference in age of participants. Similarly, in school years, it is assumed that there was no difference in perception because of the grades associated with the high transmission of information via the Internet. Our results indicate that environmental education mechanisms that involve the school community and its surroundings are promising for attitudinal changes that prioritize environmental conservation.

“O incrível mundo dos anfíbios e répteis da Mata Atlântica” ações educativas no entorno de unidades de conservação
(2018) Amaral, Jéssica Monique da Silva; Santos, Ednilza Maranhão dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5812920432455297; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1830373986976646
With more than 70% of its original coverage area degraded, the Atlantic Forest still has a huge biodiversity and shelter about 730 species of amphibians and repitles, however, due to advances in urbanization and tenacity of popular beliefs which incites the population's loathing towards these animals, some species are endangered. Since the protected areas are an important tool for the preservation of species, the use of educational actions is fundamental to dismystify inherited beliefs and clarify the importance of these animals to the human population being the main resource in the management plan of an UC. In this way, the objective of this work was to promote and evaluate educational actions through travelling exhibitions on public schools around three Conservation Units, Parque Estadual de Dois Irmãos (PEDI), Estação Ecológica do Caetés (ESEC-Caetés) and Refúgio de Vida Silvestre do Sistema Gurjaú (RVS Gurjaú), aiming at valuing the importance of Atlantic Forest's reptiles and amphibians, stimulating the sensitization of the human community to forests and animals. The exhibitions were performed for three consecutive years aimed at students from 7th year of elementary education to 2nd year of high school. Each exhibition had a collection of banners and communicative boards, representative forests scenery, pictures of species, interactive booklets, a written questionnaire, taxidermized and preserved animals, also had live animals. A total of 20 schools and 2,141 students participated in the actions, aged between 9 and 21 years old. The students were participative in all activities, they demystified legends and beliefs through monitor's explanations, also reported the use of reptiles and amphibians in human nourishment, through photographs showed the most common species in the area where they live, some of them relate coexistence with these animals as well as feelings such as affection, fear and curiosity. After the explanations some students showed interest in helping to conserve these animals and the biome, which was reflected in positive answers of the questionnaires, where they answered that in order to help preserve the Biome they must not kill animals, take care of the forest and raise awareness about the importance of species on their community and stated they will teach friends and parents about it in speeches such as "I'll tell my mom the forest has to be preserved", "Me and my friends, from now on, we'll be the heroes of animals". The environmental education is an essential tool for demystification, awareness and appreciation of the environment, inducing in humans the will to conserve, being a buttress for ecological balance.
