This study was developed with data from a collection carried out in 2009. Sixteen lactating Girolando cows were selected. The animals were divided into four treatments of 0, 10, 20 and 30 minutes on a cooling system. The statistical analysis used was the multivariate, using the technique of Principal Component Analysis on the environmental, physiological and behavioral parameters have influence on milk production and quality. The rumination was opposite to the production, indicating that it was smaller, because it presents a condition of possible stress. The CCS was strongly influenced by the TR and in turn the FR. Both TR and FR presented the highest values in time of 0 minutes indicating a condition of thermal stress, which reflected in accentuated values of CCS, reducing milk quality. The use of 10,20 and 30 min cow exposure times to the evaporative adiabatic cooling system provided significant changes in somatic cell counts.Item Atividades desenvolvidas em um sistema de tratamento de efluentes para águas residuárias de um hotel em Ipojuca-PE(2018) Ribeiro, Marco Aurélio; Almeida, Gledson Luiz Pontes de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2328849810614673; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8312277001105388Item Atividades Práticas Desenvolvidas em Agroindústria do Setor Sucroalcooleiro do Estado de Pernambuco(2019) Lima, Max Henrique Gonçalves de; Almeida, Gledson Luiz Pontes de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2328849810614673; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7622040913641513Item Atividades práticas desenvolvidas para avaliação de bens no município de Jaboatão dos Guararapes/PE(2019-06) Caetano, Lucas Almeida da Silva; Almeida, Gledson Luiz Pontes de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2328849810614673; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7868463524752063Item Avaliação do custo-benefício de telhas cerâmica e fibrocimento para cobertura de aviários no Agreste Pernambucano(2019) Thorpe, Davi de Farias; Almeida, Gledson Luiz Pontes de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2328849810614673; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2383021746623661Item Caracterização gravimétrica de rejeito oriundo de indústria de pás eólicas em Pernambuco(2021) Gonçalves, Brinaldo Queiroz; Almeida, Gledson Luiz Pontes de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2328849810614673; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0425787741031344Item Construção de modelos físicos de barragens de terra para aula prática(2018) Monteiro, Carlo Rannyêr Lopes; Almeida, Gledson Luiz Pontes de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2328849810614673Item Dinâmica espaço-temporal da cobertura vegetal, das queimadas e da expansão da bovinocultura na bacia leiteira do estado de Pernambuco usando Landsat-8 e MapBiomas(2022-12-12) Melo, Maria Vitória Neves de; Almeida, Gledson Luiz Pontes de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2328849810614673; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8193771315370090The semi-arid is responsible for about 58% of the effective herd in the Brazilian Northeast region (NEB), however, there are local and meteorological factors that limit the semi-arid region. The objective was to evaluate the space-time dynamics of vegetation cover through the Soil-Adjusted Vegetation Index (SAVI) and Pasture Plant Coefficient (CVP) via Landsat-8/OLI images processed in the cloud on Google Earth Engine (GEE), measuring the scenarios of burned areas and characterizing the expansion of cattle farming in the dairy basin in the state of Pernambuco through land use and cover (LULC) and its impacts on the Caatinga Biome. The study region comprises the 23 municipalities that produce the most milk in the state, between 2016 and 2021, divided into dry and rainy seasons. The Vegetation Indexes were processed in the GEE and the spatialization of the rain was made through the Climate Hazards Group InfraRed Precipitation with Station data (CRHIRPS) and both data were submitted to descriptive statistics. LULC thematic maps and burned areas were processed in QGIS software. Thus, it was observed that in the dry and rainy period from 2016 to 2020, there was average precipitation of 77.98 mm and 331.19 mm, respectively. In the rainy season of 2016, less precipitation was observed when compared to the other years of the study, as it was the period that was influenced by the great droughts that preceded the year in question. As for the vegetation indices in the dry period, the SAVI presented lower spectral responses throughout the study period, as a result of low precipitation in the region and the rainy season with high biomass activity with values above 0.78. The SAVI and CVP showed medium to high variability. The burned areas showed that anthropic activities in some sectors of the basin caused the change in the LULC, resulting in degradation processes, even in regions with greater precipitation. Therefore, it is concluded that the analysis of the products CHIRPS, SAVI, CVP associated with the descriptive statistics and the maps of the LULC and burned area, was efficient for the space-time characterization of the expansion of cattle farming in the dairy basin of the state of Pernambuco throughout the study period.Item Estudo das causas e medidas preventivas de rompimento embarragem de rejeito(2019) Garcia, Rodolfo Cavalcanti; Almeida, Gledson Luiz Pontes de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2328849810614673Item Estudo das propriedades térmicas de materiais de cobertura utilizados em construções rurais: uma revisão de literatura(2018) Santos, Adolfo Vinícius Pereira dos; Almeida, Gledson Luiz Pontes de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2328849810614673Item Impactos ambientais antes, durante e pós período de lockdown (COVID-19) nas águas dos rios Capibaribe e Tejipió, Brasil(2023-09-05) Oliveira, Maria Eduarda Gonçalves de; Almeida, Gledson Luiz Pontes de; Silva, Marcos Vinícius da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6652290054024513; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2328849810614673; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3243908417015201The coronavirus pandemic has seriously affected human health, although some improvements on environmental indexes have temporarily occurred, due to changes on socio-cultural and economic standards. The objective of this study was to evaluate the impacts of the coronavirus and the influence of the lockdown associated with rainfall on the water quality of the Capibaribe and Tejipió rivers, Recife, Northeast Brazil, using cloud remote sensing on the Google Earth Engine (GEE) platform. The study was carried out based on eight representative images from Sentinel-2. Among the selected images, two refer to the year 2019 (before the pandemic), three refer to 2020 (during a pandemic), two from the lockdown period (2020), and one for the year 2021. The land use and land cover (LULC) and slope of the study region were determined and classified. Water turbidity data were subjected to descriptive and multivariate statistics. When analyzing the data on LULC for the riparian margin of the Capibaribe and Tejipió rivers, a low permanent preservation area was found, with a predominance of almost 100% of the urban area to which the deposition of soil particles in rivers are minimal. The results indicated that turbidity values in the water bodies varied from 6 mg. L− 1 up to 40 mg. L− 1. Overall, the reduction in human based activities generated by the lockdown enabled improvements in water quality of these urban rivers.Item Levantamento do potencial de captação de água pelo telhado em comunidade de Quilombola de Pernambuco(2019) Oliveira, Márcia Cristina Barros de; Almeida, Gledson Luiz Pontes de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2328849810614673; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3885610897599224Item Máquinas e implementos utilizados em operações de pequenas barragens de terra com fins agropecuários(2019) Lopes, João Marcelo Oliveira; Almeida, Gledson Luiz Pontes de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2328849810614673; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5359283107217276Item Plasticidade fenotípica e respostas comportamentais de novilhas Girolando em pastejo contínuo no semiárido pernambucano(2023-09-11) Bezerra, Ingrid do Nascimento; Almeida, Gledson Luiz Pontes de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2328849810614673; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4518487877353767The indicators of thermal stress for ruminants are described according to the magnitude of the meteorological elements, physiological, behavioral adjustments, and productive response. This research was conducted to evaluate the ingestive behavior and phenotypic plasticity of Girolando heifers subjected to continuous grazing in the semiarid of Pernambuco. Three heifers of 7/8 Dutch-Gir genetic composition were evaluated, submitted to a paddock with 40 x 40 m brachiaria, for 21 days. The meteorological variables recorded in the production environment were the dry, bulb temperature (°C) and the relative humidity of the air (%), which allowed the thermal characterization through the temperature and humidity index (TM). The behavior of heifers was quantified through observation by instantaneous scanning of activities, walking, drinking, eating, ruminating, lying down, leisure and standing. The physiological responses recorded were rectal temperature (°C) and respiratory rate (movement mia-1). The experimental design was completely randomized in a 2 x 3 factorial arrangement (shifts x evaluation period). Behavioral variables were subjected to te chi-square and probability test. The physiological parameters were subjected to analysis of variance and application of the Tukey test at the level of 5% significance. The THI did not exceed 89 units, which characterizes the critical limit of moderate stress for the animals. The heifers proved to be adapted to the climate of the region, as, during the study period, they showed sufficient physiological and behavioral alteration capacity to maintain homoeothermic.
