(2023-12-13) Catunda, Débora de Assis Mousinho; Barros, Lilian Débora de Oliveira Barros; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2102439803472317
The main purpose of this experience report is to discuss the impact of using drawings in art classes as didactic support for deaf elementary school students in a public school in the city of Jaboatão dos Guararapes / PE. In order to improve the didactic understanding of this student, this research believes that the search for resources and the various ways of dealing with deaf people in the school environment can be rethought with regard to the methods and strategies historically used in this process. How can drawings help deaf students in art classes? How do deaf students respond to the incentives provided by the use of drawings during lessons? Is this strategy effective during the deaf student's learning process? Visual interventions in art classes to meet the needs of deaf children should be understood, not as a definitive and final solution to the issue, but as an important tool in building a new model for teaching these students.

(2023-09-18) Lucena, Eduardo Gomes de; Bracchi, Daniela Nery; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6149456459123478; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2435416144293028
This research aims to analyze the integration of mobile devices in contemporary artistic practice, investigating the use of photographs captured by smartphones in observational drawing studies. Inspired by both the transdisciplinary approach of Renaissance artists and modern technologies, this study follows students from the Technical Course in Visual Arts at the Instituto Federal de Pernambuco – Campus Olinda. Similar to how Leonardo da Vinci used the camera obscura to depict singlepoint perspective and vanishing points, the cameras of mobile devices can serve as technical aids to crop the desired landscape, in addition to recording space-time and enabling the artist to explore intricate scene details. Within the context of this case study, two Painting classes were observed during three field trips. Through paintings created in a square near the campus, the frequent use of mobile devices as tools enriching the creative process became evident. These tools provide attributes that complement human vision, including zoom, cropping, and the ability to capture specific moments. By observing this practice, the research highlights the intersection of art and technology throughout history. The adopted methodology is grounded in a qualitative approach of Participant Observation, enabling the author to experience and record students' interaction with mobile devices during artistic practice. The motivation for this analysis stems from the author's role as a technician in the Painting and Photography labs at the Instituto Federal de Pernambuco, Campus Olinda.

This research has the aim of evaluating the impacts of a pedagogical intervention for Youth-Adult Education focused on the creation of drawings inspired by reading and music comprehension based on reflections about artistic drawing in association with reading and music as tools for teaching and learning, addressing strategies for making Youth-Adult Education lessons and contents more dynamic. The theoretical framework comprehends relevant discussions on the national Law of Directives and Bases for Education and the Brazilian Common Core Curriculum, proposing reflections about the importance of teaching Visual Arts as well as the main challenges related to Youth-Adult Education, presenting views from different scholars about this field of Education and its specificities. Methodological procedures consisted in lesson observation focused on practicing artistic drawing inspired in musical contextualization and the application of a survey in the context of the Arts subject at a Youth-Adult Education. The data obtained show the intervention contributed to the development of the Youth-Adult Education student. This is noticed through the group’s productions, which reinforce the understanding of the drawings a form of language which allow expression of individuality, specificity, feelings and world views, providing voice and making individuals protagonists. The discussions contribute for reflection about pedagogical interventions regarding the application of Art projects for enhancing and stimulating visual and auditory perception in Arts lessons in Youth-Adult Education.

Desenho e tecnologia: uma abordagem experimental
(2019-07-27) Silva, Carlos Eduardo Galon da; Agra, Uirá Rupert Moreira Cruz e Costa; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1007832192720400; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6151872786827219
This qualitative research aims to reflect on the artistic process from a cross between drawing and digital technology. An experimental approach in the atelier was elaborated: like a machine thought, incorporating the use of the computer in the moment of the creation, of the intention before the gesture. To this end, five other artists shared their actions in contemporary drawing, and from this collection, short video clips were edited. From this list of videos played in random mode, the machine's circuits determined the pace and sequence of commands for the artist to perform on the media. Seeking reflection and understanding of the issues addressed the theoretical concepts of Luigi Pareyson, Arlindo Machado, Fayga Ostrower and Edmond Couchot supported the analysis of this empirical method. Examining the procedures in this production, exploration was important in reviewing their own work strategies and driving new paths of artistic production.
