Item Alimentos alternativos utilizados na cunicultura(2019-01-15) Silva, Gisele Rafaela Ferreira da; Cavalcante, Danilo Teixeira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6476444073756661; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5330768032093881A balanced feed allows the animal to achieve good performance results and good carcass yield, with reduction in body fat deposition. Feeding represents the highest costs for raising rabbits. This is mainly due to the fact that the conventional ingredients used in formulating rations for these animals are foods for humans, such as corn and soybean. Alternative foods are being extensively studied so they can partially or totally replace the conventional ingredients. These ingredients are classified according to their protein, energetic and fiber levels. The objective of this study was to review the literature on the main alternative foods used in rabbit feeding.Item Análise química, fracionamento dos carboidratos e digestibilidade in vitro da matéria seca do milheto, de primeiro e segundo ciclos, variedade BRS 1501, cultivado com quatro níveis de aplicação de gesso e lâmina de irrigação no Semiárido(2019-12-11) Oliveira, Thalita Barbosa de; Magalhães, André Luiz Rodrigues; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2621131411062422; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8941489921336261The objective of this study was to evaluate the chemical composition, carbohydrate fractionation and in vitro digestibility of dry matter of first and second cycle millet (Pennisetum glaucum (L.) R.), varieties BRS 1501, grown with four levels of plaster and blade application. of irrigation in the Semiarid. The study was conducted in Petrolina-PE, during a period of 140 days, lasting 75 days for the first cycle and 65 days for the second. The experimental design was in randomized blocks arranged in a 2x4 factorial scheme, considering two cuts (1st and 2nd cycles) and four doses of agricultural plaster (0, 2, 4 and 8 Mg.ha-1), with three replications. totaling 24 installments. Gypsum doses showed significant differences for carbohydrate fractions (P<0.05), not influencing bromatological composition or IVDMD (P>0.05). However, there was a difference between the cuts for the analyzed parameters of CP, NDF and ADF (P<0.05). However, differences were observed between cycles for the analyzed parameters of total (CHO), fibrous (CF), non-fibrous (CNF) and digestible (A + B1) and potentially digestible (B2) carbohydrate (P<0.05). The CHO presented higher values in the second cut (792.9 g/kg DM) compared to the first cut (740 g/kg DM), which also explains the higher levels of CNF in the second cycle. The A + B1 fraction also increased in the second cycle (P<0.05), which may be associated with a decrease in fibrous carbohydrate levels in the same cycle. The increase in gypsum doses contributed to the decrease of saline stress in the plants, which may have favored the increase of the A + B1 fraction. However, fraction B2 presented higher proportion in the first cycle, having compensated for the lower values of A + B1. The higher proportion of fraction B2 for the first production cycle is consistent with the higher CF content compared to the second cycle, since there was no difference in fraction C values between production cycles. Therefore, the IVDMD was not influenced (P>0.05) by the production cycles. All the forages produced presented chemical-bromatological constitution suitable for the feeding of ruminants, which contributes to the increase of the carrying capacity of the production systems and, consequently, to the higher animal performance.Item Avaliação da condição corporal de cães de diferentes raças relacionado ao manejo alimentar adotado(2018-08-27) Costa, Francielle Torres; Lima, Denise Fontana Figueiredo; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2115265473018753; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8073327765615419To prevent the onset of aggravation of numerous diseases and to promote a better quality of life for dogs, the evaluation of the body condition of these animals is of great importance. The objective of this study was to correlate the profile of the animals with the nutritional and environmental aspects to which they were submitted using the Body Mass Index and the Body Condition Score to determine the body condition of each animal. After the data were analyzed the animals were divided into three categories from the correlation of the data of the two parameters used, thus, 33% of the animals were in the ideal weight, 33% over the recommended weight and 10% underweight, the 23 % were the data that diverged between the parameters adopted. Therefore, the correlation of the two methods used provides a more precise opinion, since not only the weight but also the tissue composition of the animal cup, such as fat and muscle deposition, were analyzed.Item Avaliação da plasticidade fenotípica para produção leiteira em um rebanho holandês na região de São Bento do Una (PE)(2019-12-13) Vilar, Claudianny Souto Maior de Moraes; Santoro, Kleber Régis; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1655315613903732; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4897576252185445The climate acts directly on animals, which when exposed to bad weather for several hours of the day, become extremely susceptible to a permanent state of stress, which trigger physiological changes in adaptation, compromising the productive performance of the animal. Most animals raised for milk production are sensitive to the high temperatures found in tropical areas, and the climate elements are often so intense that they cause an imbalance between the animal and the environment. The present study evaluated the phenotypic plasticity for dairy production in a Holstein herd in the region of São Bento do Una (PE), as well as evaluated the different genotypic composition of the animals for the HSP-70 gene, influences their climate adaptation and consequently milk production. With the help of the Pernambuco Agronomic Institute (PAI) - São Bento do Una Experimental Station it was possible to acquire 117,323 daily milk production data from 271 animals from 2008 to 2018. Information on daily rainfall from 2008 to 2014 were obtained on the website of the Pernambuco Water and Climate Agency (PWCA), the materials of solar radiation, relative humidity, average, maximum and minimum temperature, referring to the years 2008 to mid 2012, were purchased from Integrated Data Center (IDC) from the National Institute for Space Research (NISR) and climate data from the end of the year 2012 to 2014 were received by IPA Experimental Station of São Bento do Una. Molecular genetics analyzes were obtained from Maria das Dores Silva Araújo's master's thesis, entitled “Genetic diversity and association of the heat shock gene (HSP-70) with the productive performance in dairy cows in the semiarid”. The study was conducted on the basis of ITU, as they better indicate the quality of the animals' thermal comfort than simply the climatic variables alone. After the acquisition and correction of data related to milk production, climatic variables, HSP-70 gene polymorphisms and ITU was created a single database with 24,196 observations of six polymorphisms. Correlation, variance, regression and descriptive analyzes, performed with the information present in the database, were performed with the aid of SAS version 9.4 software. By evaluating the HSP-70 gene, the phenotypic plasticity for milk production in the Dutch herd was confirmed, and the influence of different animal genotypic compositions for the same gene. Through the collected data, the G polymorphism was the one with the highest productive average and the lowest average productivity loss under thermal stress conditions, and can be used as a basis for the improvement of animals for tropical region.Item Avaliação da qualidade de ovos de galinhas caipiras, criadas em sistema cage free, armazenados em temperatura ambiente e refrigerados(2019-12-12) Catão, Ramon Correia; Cavalcante, Danilo Teixeira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6476444073756661; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8611155810158567Item Avaliação da qualidade do colostro e transferência de imunidade passiva em bezerros da raça Holandesa(2019-01-11) Costa, Luana Paes da; Bispo, Safira Valença; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2541084650429493; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4760336574562419In addition to the basic care we must have with newborns, there is no doubt that the supply of colostrum is among the most important factors, conferring nutrients and essential substances against pathogens. The bovine placenta type does not allow the transfer of antibodies from the mother to the fetus. This compromises their development, increasing morbidity and mortality rates, making it essential to administer a quality colostrum soon after the first hours of life, because in this initial phase, the capacity of absorption by the newborns is greater. The objective of this study was to evaluate the quality of colostrum and the transfer of passive immunity to newborn bovines of the Dutch breed. The work was carried out at the Agronomic Institute of Pernambuco (IPA), São Bento do Una experimental station, where nine calves were born between october and december 2018, with a mean weight of 34 kg. Soluble solids present in the colostrum samples were analyzed by the BRIX refractometry method after the first postpartum milking. The concentration of total proteins in the plasma samples was also analyzed with the serum protein refractometer, in the period between 24 and 48 h after birth. The results demonstrated good to high quality colostrum, resulting in successful passive immunity transfer. However, the amount of colostrum supplied shortly after birth was the main determinant, so that the higher the ingested volume the higher the concentration of proteins in the blood and the better the passive immunity transfer.Item Avaliação de condição corporal de cães hígidos atendidos numa clínica veterinária em Garanhuns, PE(2019-07-16) Silva Filho, Edmilson Jerônimo da; Lima, Denise Fontana Figueiredo; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2115265473018753; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8590814284435274Item Avaliação químico-bromatológica do milheto irrigado com água salina e cultivado com diferentes doses de gesso agrícola no Semiárido(2019-01-17) Miranda, Maria Beatriz Rodrigues de; Magalhães, André Luiz Rodrigues; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2621131411062422; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5983981030734778The objective of this study was to evaluate the chemical-bromatological composition of forage millet, submitted to doses of plaster irrigated with saline water. The study was conducted in Petrolina - PE, in the period of 140 days, with duration of 75 days for the first cycle and 65 days for the second. The experiment was carried out in a randomized block design with two replicates (1 and 2 cycles) and four doses of plaster (0, 2, 4 and 8 Mg ha-1) totaling 24 plots using the ADR 300 millet variety. No differences (P>0.05) were observed for plaster doses for any of the analyzed variables and in none of the cuts performed. No difference (P>0.05) was observed for dry matter (DM) values between the cuts with mean values of 261.2 g/kg natural matter (NM). There was an effect (P <0.05) between the evaluated periods and the relation to neutral detergent fiber (NDF), acid detergent fiber (FAD), crude protein (CP), ethereal extract (EE) and lignin (LIG). Results were higher in the second cycle (75 days) of the constituents NDF (606.4), FDA (331.6) and LIG (38.0) compared to the first cycle (65 days) with values of 576.3, 267.5 and 30.4 g/kg DM, respectively. It was observed that the values referring to PB (159.7) and EE (17.3) were higher in the first cycle in relation to the second with results of 106.1 and 14.0 g/kg DM, respectively. The level of application of plaster did not differ for both cuts, however, there was nutritional difference between them, where the first cycle showed to be nutritional superior to the second cycle when irrigated with saline water.Item Características morfométricas da raça Mangalarga baseada em índices(2019-01-16) Severo, Maria Flávia de Souza; Lucena, Jorge Eduardo Cavalcante; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5117398890386927; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2286709877632780The close relationship between morphometry and functionality in equines is important in predicting performance and selection for the various modalities, which equines are used. The objective of this study was to characterize morphometrically Mangalarga stallions, females and castrated males using the Dactyl-thoracic Index (DTI), Form Index (FI), Estimated Weight (EW), Load Index 1 (LI1) and Load Index 2 (LI2), as well as for linear measurements: Withers Height (WH), Thorax Girth (TG) and Cinnamon Girth (CG). A total of 20,473 equines were used, of which 9092 stallions, 2054 castrated males and 9327 females, registered between the period from 1988 to 2018. Three linear measures (WH, TG, CG) were used to elaborate morphometric indices: DTI, FI, EW, LI1 and LI2. To compare the sexes, a completely randomized experimental design was used, consisting of three treatments: stallions, females and castrated males. The morphometric results were submitted to analysis of variance and the averages were compared using the 5% tukey test (P <0.05) using the SISVAR statistical software (version 5.6). The animals were considered medium or eumetric by WH and EW. The DTI classified the females in hipometric and, stallions and castrated males in hypermetric. For FI, the females tended to saddle animals and, the stallions and castrated males tended to race animals. The females showed a greater capacity to support weight on the back working at a trot, gallop and step, as well as being heavier, deeper and closer to the ground. The stallions and castrated males have been shown to be farther from the ground and a better support condition in relation to the support base.Item Caracterização da caprinocultura leiteira no município de Alagoinha, Pernambuco(2018-07-26) Galindo, Gislane Mendes; Magalhães, André Luiz Rodrigues; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2621131411062422; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1597057408531764Alagoinha is located in the agreste Pernambucano which has been staanding out in last years for the production goat milk on the community Lage do Carrapicho. Actually in the community, thirty families commercialize goat's milk for the industrialization and distribution of milk, through social programs of the state and federal governments. The activity has come progress and growth socioeconomic in the state, but, there isn’t a scientific study about the activity on the region which shows its positives and negatives and yours opportunities, as well as their threats. The objective of this study was to study the sale of goat milk in the last five years, to characterize the properties, the goat herd and its structure, and to outline the current profile of goat milk producers in the municipality of Alagoinha-PE-Brazil. To do so, initially the number of active producers was surveyed, and 30 producers were identified, to whom structured questionnaires were applied, face-to-face, the survey also counts on pre-existing data obtained from access to the producers register, minutes of meetings and control books for the sale of goat milk in the municipality. The results show that the sale of milk presents an important source of income for families and high success rates in the last five years. The production of derivatives is an important opportunity to reduce dependence on government programs. The properties are characterized as family units of production, where activity has reduced the rural exodus and is a factor of inclusion of female labor in the field. The goat herd is composed mostly of crossbred dairy cattle with predominant use of the Saanen breed, 70% of which are likely to expand. Sporadic and unskilled technical assistance compromises the speed of progress of these production systems. Goat milk producers have an optimistic profile, and their commitment is based on the principles of associativism and cooperativism practiced in the Lage do Carrapicho community.Item Caracterização do mercado de sementes forrageiras em Garanhuns-PE(2018-08-27) Macedo, Sthfany Florêncio de; Barreto, Glesser Porto; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7580225824861907; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3451850647557464The cattle farmers' profile has gradually if altered if it observes among them growing concern with the quality of the acquired seeds for the formation of pastures. That change of behavior is associated to the fast technological progress verified in the systems of cattle production. It is noticed that representatives of commercial enterprises of seeds are an important source of information and of knowledge for the consumers / producers, for the resolution of their relative problems to the formation of pastures. The State of Pernambuco is evidencing his/her vocation for the exploration of the livestock, in his/her great majority the livestock is driven by family producers, located mainly in the region of Wild. Most of the area of the state appears for pastoral aptitude handled in those areas. Given that importance, the work had as objective to do a revision on the main aspects related to the quality of seeds of plants forage, as well as to research the market of those seeds (grassy for formation of pastures, leguminous plants, and corn and sorghum for production of silages) in the municipal district of Garanhuns - PE. After the identification of the establishments that you/they marketed seeds forrageiras in the municipal district, it was consisted that there were five stores that sold that type of seeds. It was applied a questionnaire semi-structured then, looking for information regarding the commercialization of the seeds in the year of 2018. The market of seeds of species forage in Garanhuns, in spite of being accomplished by few establishments represents a considerable volume of sale in the year of 2018 it overcame 130 tons of seeds of grassy for the pasture formation. And that the seeds of the gender Brachiaria prevail at the market that corresponds to 71,1% of the total, and being B. decumbens the species more sold at the market with 60.020 kg, corresponding her/it a participation of 46,1% of the whole market. In addition to these, the marketed quantity of corn and sorghum seeds were 50,745 kg for corn seeds and only 5,340 kg for sorghum in Garanhuns, among the cultivars of corn cv. Feroz had greater participation with 33.7% in corn seed market. For the marketing of seed fodder legumes is small only of 450 kg, with only two species sold the estilosantes Campo Grande (Stylosanthes macrocephala and S. capitata) and others just bean seeds-pigeon pea (Cajanus cajanus) demand also is small.Item Caracterização dos bovinos abatidos no município de Garanhuns – Pernambuco(2019-01-09) Andrade, Arllan Rodrigues de; Véras, Robson Magno Liberal; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2405716901085095Item Controle zootécnico em búfalas índices reprodutivos(2018-08-15) Teixeira Neto, Antunino; Bispo, Safira Valença; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2541084650429493; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9477078002384825Item Digestibilidade dos nutrientes no capim Panasco (Aristida adscensionis Linn) e do feno do capim Tifton (Cynodon spp), estimada pela técnica dos sacos móveis, em equinos(2019-12-11) Silva, Djanira Paula Soares de Souza; Lucena, Jorge Eduardo Cavalcante; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5117398890386927; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3790457661892586Item Estágio supervisionado obrigatório: controle zootécnico em búfalos: índices produtivos(2018-08-16) Oliveira, Jonas Lucas Santos de; Bispo, Safira Valença; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2541084650429493; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5658924660479111Item Impacto da incidência de mastite na renda bruta em propriedades do Agreste pernambucano(2018-08-16) Barbosa, Jefferson de Barros; Carvalho, Daniela Moreira de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1614877101137683; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3142089454346700Item Impacto da utilização da parede celular de levedura Saccharomyces cerevisae sobre o desempenho e morfologia intestinal de frangos de corte(2019-07-08) Pequeno, Danilo André dos Santos; Cavalcante, Danilo Teixeira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6476444073756661; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3456145067647198Faced with a search for healthier food, a consummate population is beginning to restrict the purchase of meat from poultry fed diets containing antibiotics due to the emergence of resistant bacterial species. In view of this scenario emerges as an alternative to prebiotics, which are biologically safe compounds to human and animal health. The aim of this research was to evaluate the efficiency of the yeast cell wall Saccharomyces cerevisiae as a prebiotic. For that, 180 birds were distributed from a completely randomized design in three treatments and 8 replicates with 10 birds each repetition. Three types of diet, antimicrobial or prebiotic control (DC) were used using a 0.1% prebiotic (DC + 0.1%) and 0.15% prebiotic (DC + 0.15). %). Weight gain (kg / bird), feed intake (kg / bird), weight gain (kg / bird), feed conversion (kg /kg) / kg), viability 42 days old, two fractions of the duodenum, jejunum and ileum of 12 animals per treatment, being two birds of each repetition, for an analysis of the intestinal morphology. The birds that received the diet containing 0.1% prebiotic had better results at the end, so it can be concluded that the use of yeast cell wall of Saccharomyces cerevisae as prebiotic is an alternative to antimicrobial growth promoters.Item Impacto do transporte a granel na contagem bacteriana total do leite(2019-01-15) Santos, Luana Marques dos; Bispo, Safira Valença; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2541084650429493; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3718944305171870The aim of this study was to analyze changes in the total bacterial count of milk transported in bulk in isothermal tanks for the dairy industry, obtained from different producers in January, February and March (dry period) and April, May and June ( rainy season) of 2018. Milk samples were collected from the producers' expansion tank and samples from the truck's isothermal tank at the end of each route. The analyzes of CBT were performed in the Laboratory of the Milk Clinic located in Piracicaba - SP, accredited in the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply (MAPA). The data were submitted to analysis of variance and the averages were compared by the tukey test at 5% of probability, performed through Sisvar Software. There was an increase in CBT during the bulk transport of refrigerated raw milk regardless of the periods. The CBT of the milk obtained in the rural property and transported in bulk up to the dairy, met the specifications of the Brazilian legislation.
