The mandatory supervised internship (ESO) is when the student completes the last step towards completing the Veterinary Medicine course, its main objective is the practical experience of the profession in the area that the student was possibly attracted to. It is at this moment that you have the opportunity to put into practice all the theory and foundations learned during your undergraduate years. This internship was carried out at the Harmonia Veterinary Hospital – Casa Forte Unit, during the period from March 25, 2024 to June 10, 2024. This report seeks to describe the structure of the place and the activities carried out by the student during the internship in the emergency and hospitalization area for small animals. As the main experience during the internship, we chose to explain a case report about enucleation due to trauma caused by a dog attack.
