    Terceirização e precariedade: um estudo sobre as condições de trabalho dos terceirizados da UFRPE

    This research stands out in the field of sociology of work by analyzing the transformations and precarizations in work relations in capitalism, particularly in the context of outsourced companies connected to the University Federal Rural of Pernambuco (UFRPE). The study's goal is to understand the work relations at this university and how they influence the workers' quality of life. To achieve this, the study begins with a theoretical analysis of work throughout history, work relations in capitalism, and new forms of work, focusing on how these relations impact workers' well-being. The methodological approach was qualitative, including semi-structured interviews and a literature review. The results reveal an environment of extreme stress, task accumulation, insecurity, and coercion in pursuit of results. This study aims to improve public policies to protect workers and promote a safer and healthier work environment.

    Motorista de aplicativo Uber no Recife: uma perspectiva socioeconômica

    This scientific study aims to analyze the profile of the Uber application transport driver in the city of Recife, whose work process is organized through driver applications. The socioeconomic profile of these workers in the city of Recife is identified. The methodology adopted was qualitative, conducted through questionnaires on the Google platform with Uber application transport drivers, in order to trace the profiles of these workers, as well as through participant observation and literature review. It approaches how the economic crisis between 2014 and 2018 in Brazil acted to achieve the increase of informality of work and the emergence of new types of services, including the application driver Uber. Uber's concepts were examined. It emphasizes that the activity that constitutes the only work option, even though presented as informal and precarious. It was concluded that Uber provided the emergence of a type of professional with great ability to communicate with the consumer and also caused a reduction in the cost of this service provided.
