Item Otimização da malha de elementos finitos via software Ansys em núcleo C contraventado por lintéis(2021-03-04) Luz, Pedro Vítor Carvalho de Alencar; Mello, Weslley Imperiano Gomes de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4789771132461158The modeling of structures via Finite Elements is quite usual nowadays, in view of its importance, this research was developed in order to provide subsidies to the modeling of reinforced concrete columns in thin walls of C cores braced by horizontal lintels in X and Z over the modeling possibilities through the commercial software Ansys. This paper presents the initial procedures necessary for the insertion of the geometry in the program platform and a comparison between the 3 types of existing meshes, Hexahedral, Tetrahedral and Prismatic, demonstrating their respective convergences, through data and analysis in the specified cases, exhibiting an accuracy of 96.25% in the 1st Vibration Mode of the column with horizontal lintels, an error notwithstanding 5% in the column with lintels arranged in X and an error less than 2% in the column with lintels arranged in Z.Item Estudo do comportamento mecânico de estruturas submetidas a corregamento estático(2019-01-31) Araujo, Joice Ferreira Nunes de; Silva, Jordlly Reydson de Barros; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4382584044561547; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6554335127800409During the structural design, it is essential to know the mechanical behavior of structural elements once it enables to understand the deformation and the internal forces acting in the system. However, until the mid-twentieth century, for certain types of structures, performing this analysis accurately was a challenging task because of the difficulty and quantity of calculations involved. This scenario began to change with the advent of the computer, which allowed the application of mathematical techniques, such as the Finite Element Method, to structural analysis, providing greater precision in the evaluations. Thus, based on the importance of these for civil construction, this work had as objective to provide the interpretation of the mechanical behavior of a deep beam subjected to static loads. For this, the software ABAQUS/CAE, student version 2018, was used to simulate the chosen example, detailing each step of the simulation process and how each of these can influence the results. Therefore, the computational simulation of the deep beam allowed to analyze the stress distribution along the element.Item Revisão teórica do uso de próteses cerâmicas na região femoral(2019-07-10) Vasconcelos Filho, Elenilton Xavier de; Araújo, Vinícius Dantas de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9752753965948564; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7369646269005456The interaction of metallic biomaterials with the human body living tissue results in a metallic ions liberation by the organism. For a hip prosthesis, larger superficial contact is required, this liberation may even cause carcinogenic effects. It is intended to obtain a alternative material for the titanium alloy (Ti-6Al-4V), currently used in prosthesis, a structural analysis through the finite element method was performed, for comparative purposes, using the Zirconia Toughened Alumina (ZTA) ceramic, considering a human being weighing 60kg on a walk. From a initial geometry, that shows well defined stress concentration points, was verified that the maximum stress present in the prosthesis considering both materials shows very close values, 90MPa to the ZTA and 80MPa to the Ti-6Al-4V. Intending to decrease the maximum stress in the implant a new geometry was made, causing the decrease to 47MPa, in both materials. In this case, can be considered that the ZTA ceramic as good choice for replacement of the Ti-6Al-4V alloy, considering the chemical inertia and some mechanical properties of the ceramic.
