Item Revisão teórica do uso de próteses cerâmicas na região femoral(2019-07-10) Vasconcelos Filho, Elenilton Xavier de; Araújo, Vinícius Dantas de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9752753965948564; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7369646269005456The interaction of metallic biomaterials with the human body living tissue results in a metallic ions liberation by the organism. For a hip prosthesis, larger superficial contact is required, this liberation may even cause carcinogenic effects. It is intended to obtain a alternative material for the titanium alloy (Ti-6Al-4V), currently used in prosthesis, a structural analysis through the finite element method was performed, for comparative purposes, using the Zirconia Toughened Alumina (ZTA) ceramic, considering a human being weighing 60kg on a walk. From a initial geometry, that shows well defined stress concentration points, was verified that the maximum stress present in the prosthesis considering both materials shows very close values, 90MPa to the ZTA and 80MPa to the Ti-6Al-4V. Intending to decrease the maximum stress in the implant a new geometry was made, causing the decrease to 47MPa, in both materials. In this case, can be considered that the ZTA ceramic as good choice for replacement of the Ti-6Al-4V alloy, considering the chemical inertia and some mechanical properties of the ceramic.Item Comparação de desempenho das técnicas de controle PID e por modo deslizante no rastreamento de trajetórias de um sistema dinâmico não linear com motores de hélice(2019-12-12) Silva Júnior, Edivaldo Sebastião da; Medeiros, Philippe Eduardo de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5594617038786753Currently, control systems are gaining more and more prominence in the scientific environment and in the industrial environment, this wider scope of control systems is mainly due to the theoretical and technological advances in control engineering. This advance involves the solidification of increasingly robust control techniques, especially non-linear control techniques. In view of this fact, this work consists of comparing the PID linear control technique and the non-linear sliding control technique, both techniques being applied in a second order nonlinear dynamic system. The comparison of the PID control and the control by sliding mode, discussed in this work, took place from numerical simulations of the Seesaw Propeller system and also through physical experiment using a real plant of the system. The results presented in this work contain the individual performance of each controller, from a quantitative analysis of its performance, these analyzes were made for both the numerical simulations and the experiments carried out. These results are expressed throughout the work by means of graphs and through the analysis of the mean square error presented by each controller.Item Estudo da influência do fluido de trabalho no desempenho de um ciclo Rankine orgânico através da análise energética(2019-12-12) Anjos, Leidy Catarina Felix dos; Souza, Ronelly José de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8234458375858794; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3187993447331921Currently, science has sought the reuse of energy in the most diverse ways. Organic RankineCycle (ORC) is already used in various applications in thermal with low and mediumtemperature sources such as waste heat, solar energy, solar concentrators and etc. Thiswork aims the economic analysis of an ORC, based on a master's dissertation, through theinfluence of the variation of working fluids from the perspective of the first law ofthermodynamics. The analysis were done through the Engineering Equation Solver (EES)computer simulator. The studied fluids were: R123, R134a, R227ea, R245fa and R290,where the behavior of the ORC was evaluated by using variations of some parameters as away of evaluation and application viability of the ORC and of the most suitable refrigerator forthe project. The parameters are: pressure ratio (RP), expander inlet temperature (T5),condensing temperature (T2), efficiency, Greek letter “eta” and net power (Ẇₗᵢq). It was found that the fluids that obtained the highest levels of power and efficiency were: R134a, R227ea and R290.Item Controle de sistemas dinâmicos não lineares via linearização por realimentação com compensação Fuzzy de incertezas(2019-07-11) Montenegro, Marcelo Costa; Medeiros, Philippe Eduardo de; Martins, Weliton Soares; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9333618261815257; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5594617038786753; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8933714162193368Through the advancement of technology, and consequently of computation, non-linear control methods are developing more and more in the scientific environment, promoting a solid theoretical and experimental basis in this area. The objective of this work is the application of the technique of nonlinear control linearization by feedback linearization for the control of nonlinear dynamic systems. Since this technique has a great limitation, which is the need for precise knowledge of the parameters and the dynamics of the plant to be controlled, a fuzzy compensator has been developed to provide an additional control effort in order to compensate for all the uncertainties present in the system. The fuzzy compensator stands out because it does not require prior knowledge of the system model. In addition to the theoretical development of the Feedback Linearization technique and the fuzzy compensator, a linear controller of the PID type will be used for comparison purposes with the non-linear techniques discussed. To prove the effectiveness of the technique presented, it will be applied to the position control problem of a seesaw propeller system, which in a simplified way has a certain analogy with one of the degrees of freedom of an unmanned aerial vehicle. Numerical simulations and experimental results will be presented to show the performances of the controllers addressed in the present work.Item Análise aerodinâmica de uma turbina eólica de eixo horizontal para microgeração de energia elétrica em ambientes rurais(2019-12-03) Barros, Karla Cristina Silva; Souza, Alisson Cocci de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0526736580480309; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8663471634351100The research aims at performing the aerodynamic analysis of some 4digit NACA airfoil applied to a 3-blade horizontal axis wind turbine with 4m diameter to evaluate the project performance and feasibility. The NACA airfoil 0012, 0015,2412 and 4415 were chosen through bibliographic surveys due to their use in other projects and demonstration of relevant characteristics. The aerodynamic analysis was performed by the QBlade software, which uses as a mathematical method , the BEM methodology and the Euler-Bernoulli beam theory. Thus, it was possible to obtain the relationships between the lift coefficients and their respective angles of attack and lift coefficient, obtain the power coefficient and the maximum torque, and simulate the effects of the normal and tangential static forces generated by the lift and drag acting on the blade. Throug the analysis, it was observed that, for the evaluated parameters, the rotor with airfoil 4415 presented better results of the relations between the coefficients of support and drag, support and angle of attack and the quotient between support and drag in relation to the angle of minimal attack rotation, thus, the 4415 airfoil would enable the project implementation.Item Sistema de aquisição de dados de temperatura de trocador de calor de casco e tubos(2019-12-12) Santos, Murilo Andrade; Souza, Alisson Cocci de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0526736580480309; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2678817843201131This project aims to develop a temperature reading system in a shell and tube heat exchanger, which allows to evaluate the thermal efficiency of the system based on parallel flow. In the design, only parallel flow was used due to the arrangement of the heat exchanger on the workbench that was designed to prevent damage to it and to allow mounting on the workbench so that only the working fluids were needed. To perform the thermal efficiency analysis, differences in temperature readings of hot fluid, cold fluid and fluids leaving the heat exchanger are taken into account in both the hot fluid flow and the cold fluid flow. Exit fluid temperatures are also checked based on the variation of cold fluid flow at the heat exchanger inlet. The fluid chosen for the study was water. Fluid flow measurements for both tests were made using the arduino for data reading and similarly fluid temperature readings were made using a sensor that reads the arduino and two sensors that do not use the arduino, due to the fact that it has its own display. Five tests were performed varying the flow of cold fluid and the results obtained were satisfactory, as it proves that a change of flow causes differences in outlet temperatures, as expected, for both hot and cold fluid, the system assembled will facilitate the understanding of heat exchange for future students of the institution.Item Planejamento da manutenção do maquinário da oficina mecânica da Unidade Acadêmica do Cabo de Santo Agostinho-UACSA(2019-07-09) Assis, Lilian Kássia Cavalcante da Silva de; Silva, Karla Carolina Alves da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6261877082189807; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0782464542495200The proper performance of the maintenance, in the most varied equipment and services, in the various sectors, have as some of the consequences obtained for the conservation, efficiency and lucitivity involved. Thus, a maintenance routine was developed for the UACSA mechani- cal workshop, based on the concepts generated by the Maintenance Planning and Control stra- tegy (MPC). Through the study of the field under analysis, it was possible to define the pre- ventive method to elaborate the maintenance plans, due to the physical conditions observed in the place and in the equipment of said workshop. A follow-up of execution of the maintenan- ce plans was also prepared, with the secondary objective being the evaluation of the efficien- cy of the plans elaborated with the implementation of a maintenance indicator. Due to the analyzed circumstances, it is believed that the work carried out will meet the needs of the workshop, as well as meet the expectations through its execution, perceived from the evalua- tion of its temporal registers.Item Construção e estudo teórico-prático de um trocador de calor de casco e tudo de bancada(2019-07-11) Silva Neto, Fernando Máximo da; Santos, Humberto da Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2715913130113900Item Avaliação da resistência a corrosão de revestimentos à base de níquel depositados em aços API 5L X70 por soldagem plasma pó(2019-07-09) Nascimento Junior, Josimário do; Santos, Aureliano Xavier dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0810494477757052; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2089402782247306Corrosion failures are the leading ause of leakage in the oil industry. For this reason, the use of new materials with better resistance to this phenomenon has been very studied. One of the most used alternatives, due to the lower cost involved, is the application of coatings with these materials through welding processes. this work has the objective of evaluating the corrosion resistance of coatings based on nickel alloys in different welding parameters. As base metal using was API 5L X70 steel sheets and as addition metal, it binds to the Ni base of Nickel, Inconel 625 in a powder. as experimental tool was used experimental planning 2³ plus central point, associated to the surface response technique (MSR). The geometric characteristics, dilution, iron content and finally, electrochemical measurements of corrosion were made, were coated and subjected to heat treatment. the experimental results indicate that lower dilution values and iron content provide high corrosion resistance.Item Estudo dos efeitos dos parâmetros de soldagem MIG em revestimentos a base de níquel depositados em aço API 5L X70(2019-07-09) Santos, Gabriela Valdeci dos; Santos, Aureliano Xavier dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0810494477757052The application of nickel alloy coatings is commonly performed in the oil and gas industry to increase the life of equipment in aggressive environments, given that this procedure improves corrosion resistance without a significant increase in production cost when compared to mas-sive equipment manufactured with other alloys. The present work evaluates the best process conditions in the deposition of coatings to nickel alloy bases applied by the MIG welding pro-cess in API 5L X70 steels. As base metal plates of the API 5L X70 steel were used as the ad-dition metal, the Ni-based alloy Inconel 625 as the solid ring. As an optimization tool, a com-plete experimental design 2³ was used, associated with the technique of surface response me-thodology (MSR). Measurements of the geometric characteristics (width, reinforcement, convexity index, penetration and dilution) were made, besides raising the microhardness profile of the deposited coatings that used higher and lower welding e-nergy. The most satisfactory results were coatings having 5.8% dilution, 6.19 mm reinforce-ment and 22 mm wide. The microhardness values were influenced directly by the increase of the welding energy used.
