We present a systematic literature review on Marxist thought in the Brazilian Journal of
Political Economy (REP). We started with reading and organization of the texts available on
the journal's online platform, as the obejective to understand how this thought is discussed,
since the articles were made available on the website in 2002. Then, we tried to identify the
elements and characteristics that the authors point out about Marxist literature. Finally, we
present the convergences and divergences of classified themes in the sphere of Political
Economy
