    Utilização do Power BI para construção de dashboards de qualidade da água

    Water is an essential liquid for the existence and survival of different forms of life and indispensable for the development of the economy, energy production and adaptation to climate change. Due to the insecurity of water quality, Brazilian citizens need to be aware of the quality of water in each current year, and thus avoid acquiring diseases such as diarrhea, amoebiasis, cholera, leptospirosis, bacterial dysentery, hepatitis A, Schistosomiasis and Typhoid Fever, for example. According to the water quality portal of the National Water Agency (ANA), assessing water quality indices is a complex activity for ordinary consumers, and this task is performed by agencies with techniques, professionals, instruments, protocols, structure logistics for sending samples and specific equipment. Another difficulty is the high amount of data recorded in Excel format, causing many users difficulties in carrying out analyzes and causing visual fatigue. This academic work aims to present dashboards (developed in Power BI desktop) of water quality in relation to the indices of Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD), Escherichia coli bacteria (Ecoli), Dissolved Oxygen (DO), turbidity and water phosphorus. Brazil between the years 2001 to 2020. In this way, users will not have the need to access the websites of water agencies, manipulate data in Excel, and consequently need to understand and analyze the technical concepts of the items of the water quality index.
